I Thought we are low on the glamour stakes at the moment, so i looked at Autumn best looks. She always seems very smiley to me. I know she’s sort of an ex royal now but I’m hoping she still counts for fashion looks.

What went wrong

Don’t they just. That’s what jumped out at me. Maybe they fell out of love but remain good friends. They won’t be the first or the last that’s happened to.

Ex family solicitor- they were always the divorces that were easiest in my book in terms of agreement but also the saddest sometimes as there was often such hurt.

I know of 2 ex couples who still 25 years later holiday together, get on brilliantly but can’t live with each other.

I still maintain the Erdem is the Per Una for posh people.

Nice rings ladies, and hands! My poor old mitts look more like my others every day. We've been married twenty years in the summer and I was hoping for a nice ring to mark it but not sure circumstances or finances will allow!

That should read that my hands look like my mother's! Not others, I only have the two! (Although another pair would be very helpful!)

CanIHaveAPenguinPlease there are some great photos of Autumn Philips there and I agree, they always looked very happy and comfortable together so it's sad that something has gone wrong.

I love the green coat with the leopard lining that she wore to church for the Christmas service. I was also admiring Sophie Winkleman's outfit that she wore for W&K's wedding - very elegant.

This is my engagement ring from 1986. It cost about £145 pounds from Beaverbrooks in the Manchester Arndale Centre which was a fortune for DH on a student grant.
It looks a bit battered these days but has stood the test of time and I would never upgrade it.

I thought Autumn was the best-dressed that Christmas in her coat with the leopard-print lining.

I've always liked this photo of Autumn at the Highland Games. The expression on Charles' face is great.

Those lovely photos of Autumn and Philip show them to be the trailblazers of hand holding in public. I agree, they do look happy and comfortable together as recently as less than 2 years ago.

Erdem as posh people's Per Una - bang on Frugal Kitty

Eh I maintain that it’s a little on the harsh side...but then I’ve found the odd gem in Per Una anyway, so I suppose we were never going to agree on what looks good and what doesn’t. I like dressing a little bit differently to a lot of other people, without being ‘quirky’ and when I’m on the slim side I quite like to play with fashion rules and be mildly subversive.

I have a feeling that a lot of the Erdem dresses look a lot nicer in person and with movement, as well.

As we have no new outfits how about some new ideas? Where would you shop if you were a royal? Maybe we could pick out some outfits and bling for Kate?

I thought Autumn looked stunning as a bride.

I’d like to see Kate in short cocktail dress..like the ones Diana wore post divorce. Kate has fab legs and I think she would look amazing.

I’d like to see her in proper glamorous gowns a lot more - black velvet, midnight blue velvet, emerald velvet, lots of sumptuous fabrics, beautiful jewels, some new, very old!, tiaras, and most importantly, great shoes that properly go with the dresses! But I guess she’s limited in how often she can actually dress that way.

Mind you, it’s their 10th anniversary next year, isn’t it...

Oh and not to forget, a modern lob! Yes yes, I know it’s not going to happen...

I love the Lover’s knot tiara, but I feel we ought to see some others. I wonder, if we lobby enough for it on these threads, whether she might warm to the idea of bringing something entirely new out of the vaults by the time 2021 rolls around!

I'd love to see another tiara on Kate, though the Lover's Knot suits her.
