Fab frock for Meghan, wonderful colour and style for her, and Harry looks great in his Royal Marines dress uniform, he knows how to wear a bit of braid!

Black shoes and bag would have made H&M look like Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

With her all-red ensemble she complemented Harry's uniform and claimed evening wear territory for herself.

She looks radiant and I think the new makeup is her way of saying she isn't following the rules any more. No more worrying about nylon tights and nude shades of nail polish for her. Yay!

I don't really like accessorising red with black, and nude would've been a bit dull. Not sure what other colour might've worked tbh so maybe that's why she went monochrome.

I agree Queen, I think red with black is awful. Minnie Mouse springs to mind. I think she (and her stylists) got it spot on!

She looks incredible this evening. Her hair is amazing. I agree regarding the accessories - the fact everything is red absolutely makes it. Especially with her skin tone and hair colour.

My only tiny criticism is that in some pictures, her blusher (looks like Nars Orgasm) is a tad too much. But it absolutely could just be the flash photography picking up on the highlight within it.

Just checking my nars orgasm, it is easy to overdo it, but done right it is my favourite product.

I don't think it is Orgasm. It looks to have a brownish undertone to me.

Hmm, if that dress was teal it would look like something out of The Handmaid’s Tale. That side view does look amazing though, the colour is beautiful and I think it is one of her best dresses.

I think MM looks amazing tonight, DC looks gorgeous in that blue coat. Both ladies outstanding today.

Maybe dull gold accessories and shoes would have worked? Would have offset Harry's hardware.

Meghan looks amazing, fantastic dress and her hair looks simple and lovely. Horrible shiny bag though, I had one exactly like that from Ravel about fifteen years ago! I like the red shoes but I don't like red and black together and don't think gold/silver would have worked. Harry looks terrific too.

I don't like Kate's blue on blue coat and polo look though and I normally love her off duty stuff. I don't know my house of colour seasons but she's similar colouring to me and those are colours that I stay away from, I think a cobalt blue or navy is better on her. Like the jeans though!

Seriously though, the dress is incredible and she looks stunning. One of her best ever.

The school visit look was amazing. Slightly weird bag but.

I'm sure we've seen those shoes before? I remember googling them as they're so quirky with the slit in the heel. Love the chanelesque jacket with a slight puff at the shoulder again. A la Camilla.

Dh and I saw her on the news and honestly, we were both gobsmacked. She looks incredible. In movement, even more so. I personally dont like the super shiny straight, almost fake hair look but.... it looks amazing in her and suits the whole look overall. Wow. She knocked this one out the park.

Lots of people on this thread dont like kate in the lighter blues but I do. I agree the colour doesn't make her pop in the same way but I think theres a softness to it that works. And some of her formal outfits in that colour have been her most princessy of all which I have loved!! 😀

The white Topshop blouse has grown on me so I think I might seek it out. I'm of similar colouring to Meghan so once I've got a bit more of a tan it should suit me.

MAXIMA NEWS: she and Wax are visiting Indonesia next week so we can look forward to lots of colour and maybe a spectacular gown or two!
