@ClientQueen love the jacket 😍
@FuckingHateRats I loved your jumpsuit and cardigan yesterday, great look.
Everyone else all looking lovely as ever. I'm away from home at the moment and basically wearing the ale outfit everyday for the next 2 days (I packed light).
@Sooverthemill. Sending much love to poorly dog 🐾

It’s Friday. So I’m wearing one of my favourite shirts with jeans and trainers. I’ll resume digging out old clothes from my wardrobe next week. Probably.

Shirt: Boden
Belt: Mint Velvet
Jeans: Gap
Trainers: Mint Velvet

@Clientqueen I love that look.
@Sooverthemill hope poorly dog is doing ok, sending lots of good wishes.

I ended up ordering the hush harems, I'm very pleased with them but I think they've changed the style a bit with the new sizing. I ended with an old style and new style pair (long story!) and the ruched section at the ankle is definitely shorter on the new style pair. I also think the material may be a little thicker?? But they were different colours so that could be it.

Anyway I've kept the new style pair as they no longer have the old style in the size/colour I need. Wearing today with new balance trainers and new jumper bought last weekend from oasis. And that's my shopping done!

@ClientQueen - great look. Lovely jacket

Ellapaella · 06/03/2020 09:29

That's interesting @PalacePaper as actually I think they could do with being a bit thicker, I wear my black ones a lot in summer as they are so light but have to put thermals under them in the winter for sure.

Thanks Smile I'm conscious of my size (plus size) and it's not something I would usually wear! But I really like it

Sooverthemill · 06/03/2020 09:32

@oubliette love that outfit, the shirt is lovely.
@ClientQueen great jacket.
Thanks for all the doggy good wishes. He's either really milking it or feels truly crap as all he does is lie in the younger dog's crate and look sad.

Adding colour!
Too: old Boden baseball
Jeans: M&S harper cigarette
Trainers: dune old

Grey jeans - topshop
Blue short sleeve Tshirt - oasis.
Tan boots - next.

Nothing special about my outfit today.

Swimming lessons with ds then library probably.

KiteflyingKat · 06/03/2020 12:34

Trying out my Alexa trousers with boots, I think I prefer them with high tops TBH.

Also tried them with pumps, still too cold and wet for pumps here (outside the house at least) but hopefully spring is coming!

@Sooverthemill hope your dog makes a speedy recovery.

Bit more corporate than usual for a Friday but on an interview panel all day. Vivienne Westwood tuxedo style jacket and a cream wrap top with black straight leg trousers. Flats today again as it’s icy out there!

I went on a night out with friends tonight. Just for a few cocktails, but it was the first night like that I've done since having DS (usually do dinner parties at home for ease) and it was really fun.

Spent the day in my boilersuit because it's so bloody comfy. Then changed for the evening. The skirt is a real departure from what I'd usually wear, but I think I like it. I felt a bit lost trying to decide what to wear for a night out. The last time I went "out out" was a while before I got pregnant with DS and none of my clothes from then seemed 'right' somehow today, so I've put them in the charity pile. I wouldn't have been seen dead in a bar in a midi skirt back in the day, but I've obviously grown up! 😂 Clearly not a wild night because I'm home and totally sober as I find the hangovers aren't worth it any more (blimey, I really am old!) Had fun, though. Smile

Day:

Boilersuit and belt - Lucy & Yak

Worn with H&M trainers but we were mostly at home today.

Evening:

Top - Boden
Skirt - Never Fully Dressed, via FB marketplace
Heeled boots - River Island
Hoop earrings - Topshop
Bracelet - ASOS, ancient, bought when I was at uni

Worn with a really, really old faux leather jacket from River Island.

Great skirt @toastfiend. Hope your dog is on the mend @Sooverthemill.

Sooverthemill · 07/03/2020 07:12

Thanks @Purplecatshopaholic. He is a bit perkier. Now just waiting for results of biopsies. So want it to just be old age but we know it's not.

OublietteBravo · 07/03/2020 11:21

I’m love your going out outfit @toastfiend.

Nothing terribly exciting about my outfit today. I’ve obviously defaulted back to my standard jeans and a jumper look. I did crack yesterday and order some S/S stuff from Warehouse. It’s arriving on Wednesday (when we all have an enforced WFH day to test whether or not the IT systems can cope).

Jumper: Boden
Jeans: Mint Velvet
High tops: Mint Velvet

@toastfiend you look lovely for your night out

PalacePaper · 07/03/2020 14:09

@toastfiend yesterday evening's outfit looks fab! Sounds like you had a great night Smile

Sickoffamilydrama · 07/03/2020 15:01

Love the skirt @toastfiend and the culottes @FuckingHateRats so decided to dig two things out I haven't worn in ages.

A jumper that's a bit thin so have a vest and long sleeved heatec top on underneath.
Skirt from M&S, which I now remember why I don't wear it, it gradually rides up until it's under my boobs. I'll post pictures of the outfit first that I took this morning then the skirt after I've worn it for a while.

Hands in pocket picture is where the skirt should sit but other picture shows what it does so maybe it's time to eBay it. It moves a good 2 inches upwards.

@Sickoffamilydrama I'd charity shop that skirt if it's one you constantly tug at. Looks nice outfit though!

A challenging day as we have flooring being replaced in DDs room for ease of cleaning and wheelchair pushing. The men arrived at 9 and banged and swore and clanged ( how noisy is flooring exactly?) and terrified cats and dogs. And me. But it looks lovely. Dog back from post op check up and now house is peaceful finally. We are supposed to be going out for dinner tonight but I don't think I will change as I'm shattered and luckily it's very casual. Usually I like the chance to dress up but with DD in our room I just can't be bothered

Sweatshirt: hush, new
Jeans: j crew old
Tee : Boden eons old
Trainers: whistles

Hope you enjoyed your evening out @Sooverthemill Smile

Comfy and cosy today for me - hush harems (fast becoming a favourite) and jumper from Uniqlo - felt like wearing a cheerful colour today. Happy Sunday everyone!

Sooverthemill · 08/03/2020 09:55

Thanks @PalacePaper , the meal was lovely. Excellent food but mildly marred by the brand new first night waitress who kept bringing everyone the wrong food! It didn't matter to us and it gave me the chance to chat to the owner who is fast becoming a friend. Then we pushed the boat out and went to the Coop! I know how to party.

Same outfit today as I forgot to bring down anything apart from clean knickers. Thank goodness we should be able to move DD back later today as her new floor will have settled enough to push furniture back in place.

OublietteBravo · 08/03/2020 10:41

I’m wearing jeans and a jumper again. Admittedly different jeans and a jumper, but still.

I’ve really noticed that I seem to be wearing skinny jeans less often. Although DD (15) still lives in hers, so perhaps the trend isn’t over yet. I like to tease her that flares are coming back, and she’ll soon be wearing them. The look of horror on her face is priceless Grin

Jumper: Boden
Jeans: Hush
High tops: Mint Velvet

OublietteBravo the shirt from Fri is excellent.

Loving all the Alexa love, trying very hard to resist ordering some.

Toastfiend the going out outfit is gorgeous.

I have the world's worst cold. Have been in bed for two days, am wearing thick Primark leggings and cosy jumpers/socks. And bikini tops because my bones hurt and a structured bra makes it worse.

Have given my Head of Dept a head's up that I might not be in tomorrow and am trying to summon the strength to set work for my classes. It's not going well.
