@Ellapaella - I love the pleather trousers on you and don’t think Michael Jackson at all.

@happytobemrsg - your new blazer is lovely (I never even look at M&S since they closed my local store) @cathyandclare - your jacket is lovely too.

@Sooverthemill - that top is a great colour. I find pink a difficult colour.

@Fochit - there are 2 toilets in individual stalls. It just doesn’t appear that way in the photo.

OublietteBravo · 06/02/2020 08:49

It’s cold and foggy here today. I’ve gone for fishnets and a jacket with my dress today. My legs were cold when I went to get coffee, but I’m warming up nicely now I’m sitting in my office - which always tends towards totally tropical temperature-wise.

Jacket: Karen Millen
Dress: M&S
Tights: Boots
Shoes: Clarks

@Ellapaella I absolutely love that trouser look. (And I realise it's controversial, but I still have love in my heart for MJ too...)

@Purplecatshopaholic nice! Is that a scarf around your neck?

dellacucina · 06/02/2020 08:50

@Sooverthemill that jumper looks really warm and is a nice colour!

dellacucina · 06/02/2020 08:53

I am working from home today and it's super cold. Not sure if this is what I'm going to wear all day long, but it's a stitch fix jumper and jeans plus Reeboks

dellacucina · 06/02/2020 08:53

Oops, photo attached now

@dellacucina, I love both your jumper and jeans! Where are they from?

dellacucina · 06/02/2020 09:07

They are from Stitch Fix, which is a clothes box delivery service where you are assigned a personal stylist. They are actually from US stitch fix. My mom is shopping-obsessed and very stylish, and she orders me a box whenever I visit.

They are known for their denim and I absolutely love these jeans. The brand name on them is Pistola and the jumper is Madison Lilly. I think Stitch Fix is an exclusive supplier but I'm not completely sure how it works

I'm not sure if UK stitch fix has the same stock but both of these items are older - I think the jumper is 2018 and the jeans are 2017.

Half work half home today. Dd was sent home from nursery yesterday and can’t go back for 48 hours. I think she’s ok think that it’s just purées etc are too much for her (only just 6m). Nursery agree this could be the problem but policy is policy. So I’m home until 11. Then dropping her with Dparents. Then work.

Black jeans, pale green shirt, tan flatties, maybe a blue gilet.

KiteflyingKat · 06/02/2020 12:05

Pinafore dress - Tesco
Top - Philosophy (charity shop)
Boots - Moda in Pelle (local second hand boutique)

I think I need to buy a belt for the dress I've got on today. All those I have are too chunky for it, but it needs something to stop it looking too shapeless, I think.

Dress - Zara
Heeled boots - ancient River Island

No doubt replaced by old jeans and a hoodie by the end of the day when I take the dogs out.

Love that dress on you @toast

OublietteBravo · 06/02/2020 13:55

It’s warmed up in my office, so I’m actually wearing the dress as a dress IYSWIM. It’s not an especially inspiring garment.

Really like the pinafore on you @KiteflyingKat

Purplecatshopaholic · 06/02/2020 18:52

No @dellacucina it’s my work lanyard, lol.

KiteflyingKat · 06/02/2020 20:41

Thanks @happytobemrsg

Hi everyone. I haven't posted for a while as all my outfits have either been a bit boring or I've posted them before Grin Just popping on to say @OublietteBravo I love the challenge you've set yourself, what a fantastic idea! I've really enjoyed seeing all the different outfits.

And @toastfiend, fab dress - looks great on you.

I will try to post a photo later - currently still in PJs Smile

PalacePaper · 07/02/2020 08:09

Now up and dressed!
Skirt from white stuff, jumper from oasis and cosy tights from Aldi. Plus black DMs later when I go out.
Happy Friday everyone!

Sooverthemill · 07/02/2020 08:24

I'm super boring again today. A day of housework and chasing 'tradesmen' and trying to cheer up poorly DD. But I have chosen a colour top I particularly like that makes me smile.

Top: hush
Jeans: hush
Shoes: Boden

@toastfiend I actually really like that dress without a belt. Having said that, I am the person who keeps looking at dresses recently & thinking ‘Ooh, that’s ni... oh. It’s maternity.’ So my judgement may he a little off!

Almost all in black again today:
Jumper (TK Maxx)
Skirt (Next)
Battersea buckle boots (Hush)
Olva necklace (Hush)

Fab idea to wear a top that makes you smile @Sooverthemill That's a great philosophy to have about clothes.

I've just looked out of the window and it looks chilly out there so swapped to a warmer jumper and put on an extra pair of socks 🥶

OublietteBravo · 07/02/2020 08:59

Fifth day and final of the dress. This time with DMs. I’m glad it’s Friday and I can wear something else tomorrow - it feels very odd to re-wear the same garment on multiple days. It’s an interesting exercise - is never normally have worn yesterday’s dress/jacket/fishnets combination but I actually think it might be my favourite one of the week. This morning even DH noticed that I’d been re-wearing the same dress (“haven’t you already worn that this week?”).

Top: Phase Eight
Dress: M&S
Tights: Primark
Boots: Doc Martens

Chilled day today, we'll go walking later.

Trousers - Lucy & Yak
T-shirt - Peacocks
Cardigan - New Look, bought when I was pregnant, so it's huge, but I kind of like it oversized and it's super warm and comfy.

I'll wear trainers when we go out.
