Looking good all.
Today my power combination is
Next Roll Neck
Tesco jumpsuit
Boden Jacket
Clarks Brogues

Unfortunately it hasn't worked on some people so will have to follow through with actions as well as power dressing 😉

That outfit looks great @dellacucina.

Della. I love your outfit today. Very chic.

FuckingHateRats · 03/03/2020 19:09

dellacucina I love that outfit on you. The skirt is perfect.

dellacucina · 03/03/2020 21:25

Thanks, everyone! I would happily wear some iteration of this basically every day but I feel that this would be boring. Maybe I should just embrace it!

dellacucina · 03/03/2020 21:28

@Sickoffamilydrama I like that dress!

Love the cat photobomb Grin

@FuckingHateRats I am very impressed by the way you pull off blouses.

@Ellapaella that's a great casual look

Love those trousers @FuckingHateRats that outfit rocks.
Today I'm not sure if I love it or I look like I should be an official at pony club..think it's the pleats in the skirt.

I’m not sure about today’s outfit. Perhaps it will be better without the cardigan (doubtless the office will warm up)? I’ve no idea why I bought the dress (it’s old - probably from 2011). It’s a bit of an odd pattern for me - probably the only animal print garment that I own. But in the spirit of the thread, I decided to dig it out and wear it.

Cardigan: Red Herring
Roll neck top: M&S
Dress: Karen Millen
Boots: Phase Eight

I really like the dress sickoffamilydrama. Have you tried it with pumps instead of boots? I am envisaging with a pair of tan or black flats with tights.

OublietteBravo · 04/03/2020 08:57

@FuckingHateRats - I love your outfit from yesterday. Definitely keep the shirt. The shoes are lovely - I’m tempted to put leopard print shoes on my Spring shopping list if permitted items.

@Sickoffamilydrama - I like the dress (especially with the jacket). I’d also be interested to see it with a change of footwear (no autocorrect - I don’t mean goat wear Confused)

okiedokieme · 04/03/2020 09:01

Getting very inspired ladies! Have an interview today for the first job in my life where I actual will need to look vaguely smart. Any ideas for wide calf boots, mine are

Sooverthemill · 04/03/2020 09:07

@FuckingHateRats love the trousers, I could never get away with them. Do your students enjoy your outfits?
@oubliette I like the dress, you may get used to it!
@Sickoffamilydrama I prefer it without the jacket. If you aren't sure, try the suggestion of different shoes?

It's cold but lovely and sunny. GP has already phoned to prescribe DDs antibiotics rather than waste a home visit which is fab news and I can just chill all day rather than rush around tidying up so he doesn't think I'm a total slob ( which I am)
Jumper: white stuff
Jeans: gap
Shoes: jigsaw

FuckingHateRats · 04/03/2020 09:12

sooverthemill I really like the shape of your jeans. What's the rise like on them?

I don't know if they do! Many of them do come in and say 'oh I saw this in Topshop at the weekend and I think you'd love it'... it's inevitably some form of animal print 🤣it's good to have a look, right? I teach secondary English.

Sooverthemill · 04/03/2020 09:32

@Fuckinghaterats they are high rise, super comfy basically these I think though mine were only £22 for some reason

I briefly taught secondary English and the students always noticed my clothes. I remember having a real style crush on a younger teacher when I was in year 7 because she wore clothes straight out of top of the pops (it was the 70s)!

dellacucina · 04/03/2020 10:47

J crew blazer
French connection tank
Another Stitch Fix skirt. I actually think it's the exact same design in a different fabric. Like I said, I want to wear Smile

Sooverthemill · 04/03/2020 11:26

@dellacuccina I think when you've found a style that works, keep it! The skirt is great.

FuckingHateRats · 04/03/2020 11:38

I totally agree, it's simple and stylish and flattering. Looks great!

Sickoffamilydrama · 04/03/2020 15:15

The suggestion of different shoes is a good thought. I have to say I live in these knee high boots all winter hate cold ankles and work in places with rubbish heating.

Goat wear sounds interesting @OublietteBravo not sure if it would smell that nice 🤣

toastfiend · 04/03/2020 16:01

I really like the dress @OublietteBravo. @FuckingHateRats your trousers are amazing and @Sooverthemill I really like the stripy jumper.

Dungarees for me today. I've got DS all day, had to take the puppies to the vets for their final check-up and vaccinations and will walk the big dogs later so just needed practical, comfy clothes. Think these dungas might not be staying with me, though. I like them, but the sides are way too low to be practical and I feel like I'm constantly having to pull my top down so my wobbly bits aren't on show... 🤦‍♀️

Dungarees - Lucy & Yak. Shown here attractively tucked into socks because I have to wear my wellies to muck out the puppies in the mornings...
Top - Boden

Justonedayatatime11 · 04/03/2020 18:04

I've been lurking on these threads for ages, but not brave enough to post! Without wanting to derail the thread, can anyone advise of the best place to try and sell a BNWT All Saints leather jacket?

Sooverthemill · 04/03/2020 18:23

@Justonedayatatime11 vestiaire? Debop? I think ebay is tricky for leather myself though others use it. There's a Facebook page but no one seems to use it

Justonedayatatime11 · 04/03/2020 18:32

I've only ever used Vinted before and I think this is too nice for there! It's a beautiful jacket, I just prefer my fake leather one Blush
