@cathyandclare I just love your black coat dress.
Everyone looking lovely today, sounds like you're all having bad weather. It's windy but quite sunny and clear up here so I guess we're lucky.
Very cold though - keeping cosy today.
Jumper - French Connection, this is the warmest jumper I own. So cosy.
Jeans - Primark
Top - Tesco
Boots - Mint Velvet

Nothing too exciting from me today, it’s actually not raining (hooray) but it’s chilly.

-jumper Hush

  • Jeans M&S “Lily” jeans - meant to be slim but I’d say they are more skinny
  • Boots are Rocket Dog via TK Maxx

Sorry I’ve not been posting much, I’ve been spending less time on my phone/internet.

I’ve been sticking to my no-spend. Only thing on my “permitted buys” list are underwear and shorts (which can wait a bit longer, no risk of needing shorts any time soon).

Hope everyone is ok, you all continue to look fab. @toastfiend hope your horse is ok.

@FuckingHateRats that charity shop jumpsuit is a great shape on you, such a good find

sunshineANDsweetpeas · 01/03/2020 14:45

I love your boots ella where did you get them from?

PalacePaper · 01/03/2020 15:03

Today's outfit - skirt from hush, new balance trainers and new jumper bought yesterday from oasis Smile

Ellapaella · 01/03/2020 15:12

@sunshineANDsweetpeas they are from Mint Velvet. They were called Debbie boots, I got them in around October/November last year.

Love those trousers @OublietteBravo. And I know what you mean about certain shoes making your feet look bigger - weird one (I am a size 5 too). Hope your horse is on the mend @toastfiend. Just back from dog walk in shitty weather here in central scotland, so PurplecatDog and I are cuddling up on the sofa in comfy leggings and a tee (me, not him..)

Then today we were debating if we'd do a bit of sight seeing in London but eventually decided to come home and do nothing until our kids were dropped back.

Did get soaked on the way back from the train station though as the picture shows!
Love this dress it's warm and casual but also trendy with the split.
Dress H&M
Jacket M&S

Thanks everyone. Horse will be fine, she has a nasty infection but on antibiotics now. She spent this afternoon trying to kick my head in whilst I tried to clean the wound on her leg, so I'm pretty confident she's not at death's door. Little madam.

I am not stylish today. Currently I'm in jodhs and a hoodie, with some antibiotic/steroid cream smeared down my front due to aforementioned horse wrestling. I'll try harder tomorrow. 😂

Sooverthemill · 02/03/2020 09:10

Love the outfits @PalacePaper! Very stylish

Still fed up with weather and not feeling great so I'm comfy today
Tee: hush ( artfully tucked to hide hole from cat paddling me)
Trousers: hush ( elasticated waist)
Shoes: kurt Geiger

Yesterday
Jumper: hand knitted by me ( don't look too closely)
Jeans: boden
Wore suede green boots as went to talk wedding food at local restaurant with DD and her fiancé ( note: getting married is now ridiculously expensive especially if you want to make it look like you just threw it together yesterday and you have 120 'close friends')

I’ve really dug into the depths of my wardrobe. I definitely wore this skirt to BIL and SIL’s wedding in 2006, so it must be around 14 years old. In fact the jacket is probably from a similar era. With and without heels (I can’t drive in heels). Although since I haven’t got any meetings today I’m tempted to just wear the flat boots.

Jacket: ? (the label says ‘John by John Richmond’)
White roll neck top: Hobbs
Skirt: Kaliko
Boots (flat): Dune
Boots (heels): River Island

My Lucy & Yak trousers arrived today! Couldn’t get a pic as DS1 kept spinning in front of the mirror.

When I first put them on I wasn’t sure. I felt a bit like a pirate especially with the L&Y belt which is annoying since I love it on Toast. I switched belts with a couple of thinner ones with RG hardware & straight away I loved them. Maybe I needed to have them on for a bit to grow on me. Someone could have warned me about the amazing bum it gives me 😂 the extra material was quite a shock! Adore the grey & orange, weirdly not 100% sure on the black but they are so comfy there’s no point sending them back. Showed DH the grey with an ivory thin knit & black shoe boots & his face! He usually only likes me in form fitting things but he loved them. Asked me not to tell him the price so was pleasantly surprised to hear they were only £28. Going to brave them for work tomorrow with heeled shoe boots. Will take my flat Chelsea boots as well just in case. Thank you Toast & Kite for giving me the courage to wear them.

dellacucina · 02/03/2020 11:18

@Sickoffamilydrama the dress looks great! Well done on the alterations.

Ellapaella · 02/03/2020 11:33

@happytobemrsg we need to see a picture!

Sooverthemill · 02/03/2020 11:40

Yes @happytobemrsg we need a photo! I simply cannot imagine them

KiteflyingKat · 02/03/2020 12:17

Glad you like them @happytobemrsg, look forward to the picture.

M&S dress for me today. I’m usually a 10 and this is size 14, just to prove sizes mean very little.

Here is the enormous jumper from the other day. Still haven't decided whether it totally swamps me and I should get rid or is worth the £8 I paid on clearance.

I've had a bad cold for days and have had little energy to post or respond here, but I'm enjoying the outfits!

Do you prefer the grey trousers with the ivory top or the grey trousers with the black top for work tomorrow??

sunshineANDsweetpeas · 02/03/2020 15:20

Grey trousers with the ivory top if it's for work
