Thanks @happytobemrsg
I can also now confirm I have successfully washed the trousers without shrinkage (cool wash & air dry) and they don’t need ironing Grin

happytobemrsg · 14/02/2020 21:26

Thanks @Kiteflyingkat now where did I put my credit card

Cecilia2016 · 14/02/2020 21:35

Skinny

Uhtredswoman · 15/02/2020 06:05

@Ellapaella I wore the Hush dress last night to a dinner party - felt fantastic and it fit so well! Not brave enough to post a pic but wanted to thank you again for the inspiration! ❤️

Talisin · 15/02/2020 08:31

@OublietteBravo I love that vest, such a gorgeous colour as well.

@toastfiend lovely Boden skirt.

Dug out some really old boots from the bottom of the boot mountain today, just hope I don’t get blown off my feet later!

Rose jumper (Hush)
Bailey jeans (Hush)
Darcie boots (DM)

Dug out an old teal ribbed jumper from Boden, striped scoop neck and M&S skinny jeans which permanently need yanking up.

Going to brave the weather shortly 😊

dellacucina · 15/02/2020 08:53

All of this Boden talk reminds me that I have a Boden gift card that I won in a raffle. There is not one near me so I was considering ordering something online. What is the sizing like?

Ellapaella · 15/02/2020 09:12

@Uhtredswoman ah that's fantastic, so glad you like the dress, I bet you looked lovely.

Nm, I now see that they have a handy size 'true fit" size guide on the website

Sooverthemill · 15/02/2020 09:38

Damn I lost a post
@della I wear lots of Boden as I can't get to shops in real life and they are predominantly online. 6T2C will get you 15% off at the moment.

I think they are TTS. I wear 8P bottoms and 10 tops/ dresses

Have a go, I like the quality and the returns are amazingly easy and 90 days for sales and 365 for other stuff no questions asked as long as label still on

No outfit yesterday just too stressful to get a photo, DD super poorly

Today in old faithfuls
Jumper: Eileen fisher
Jeans Boden
Shoes : new! Dune to replace my tatty old ones which I wore 27 times in last 2 months...

OublietteBravo · 15/02/2020 09:54

@dellacucina - Biden are actually really good at listening the actual measurements of each garment, so it’s fairly easy to judge the size you need. Agree that they are great for returns - I’ve never had a problem.

Ellapaella · 15/02/2020 10:02

I bought a load of clothes for my DC from Boden while there was 20% off last week, should arrive today.
I don't buy much for myself from there but the kids clothes are excellent quality and last for ages. Customer services and returns are outstanding.

I’m at the climbing wall watching DD climb. So casual and warm is the name of the game. It’s going to be a bit of an odd day. After climbing (Milton Keynes) we need drive across the country to drop the DC at PGL (Swindon), and then drive to the airport (Gatwick) in the hope that our flight is still going ahead as planned.

Jumper: Hush
Jeans: Mint Velvet
Trainers: Jigsaw

@happytobemrsg- love the flying suit and the purple dress (orange one is fab too).
@Sickoffamilydrama-congrats on the weight loss, the dress looks lovely on you.
@KiteflyingKat- Love that outfit, the Alexas with a fitted top look great on you and on @toastfiend
@dellacucina- love the skirt with the DM boots
@MerlinsButler- I'm a Winter too, not great with jewel colours (although I can see they suit me, I feel a bit on show IYKWIM) - prefer deep greens/burgundies and black.

Out for supper- Trousers- Zara, Velvet jacket- McQ ( preloved from Vestiaire)
Navy waxed jeans- Topshop, jumper- Whistles, coat-Zara

@cathyandclare - that jacket is just gorgeous.

dellacucina · 15/02/2020 11:02

Thanks for all the Boden advice! I just put in a massive order, so looking forward to seeing what the clothes are like (and trying out the return policy)!

Beautiful jacket @cathyandclare

MerlinsButler · 15/02/2020 11:04

@KiteflyingKat the stitchbox is a £10 styling fee. You the. Go into your style profile and select price ranges for each type of clothing eg how much you'd pay for a jacket, skirt etc.

When I got my box it was pretty reasonable and they hadn't used the max amounts I would spend.

So the most expensive item was the Mint Velvet top- £69. The black blazer was £49. The trousers were £65 and £45 and T-shirt £25. So total for the 5 items was £253. Less 20% if you keep it all and then the 10 styling fee is taken off.

Sooverthemill · 15/02/2020 11:08

@OublietteBravo when we lived in Bedfordshire we used to go to the climbing wall and XCape at Milton Keynes! Good luck with the travel today and I hope your flight goes ahead, are you going somewhere exotic ?
@dellacucina stitch fix sounds very affordable, I feared it would be pricy

OublietteBravo · 15/02/2020 11:16

@Sooverthemill - DD climbs at Big Rock - which is somewhere near the coach station I think. I’m (hopefully) flying to Alicante this evening. Hoping for a bit of sun and warmth and some child-free time with DH.

MerlinsButler · 15/02/2020 11:19

@Sooverthemill I think it can be as expensive as you'd like but I found it really reasonable.

I do have an invite code which gets you £15 credit off your first order I think. Wink

woodhill · 15/02/2020 11:20

I haven't bought Boden for a while but it used to be my go to site from 2003I think the quality used to be better than now and I've put on weight

Ellapaella · 15/02/2020 12:17

Love the jacket Clare
I'm off to the ballet tonight, waiting for a dress I ordered from the Oliver Bonas sale today be delivered, if I like it I'll wear it out tonight.
Today I'm wearing my dungarees with Allsaints jumper and Hush high tops.

Out to lunch with friends today. Skinny jeans from Vintage1, Top Shop boots and Baukjen sweater. Michael Kors metallics. Old faithfuls. What do you lovelies think of the jacket though? A complete impulse buy, can I get away with it (I am in my forties). It’s boxy (I usually go for more fitted), and it’s a khaki shade which is also not my usual. I just fell in love with the faux fur! Thoughts?
