What the hell is saint and Sofia playing at

First off. Their stuff is appalling. Really bad quality material and not at all as the pictures look. Trousers were ok but not worth the money. Jumper fits oddly at the shoulders. They pinch up. Very strange. And god really scratchy material.

The delivery was massively late. Which I wouldn't mind except they sent me an email saying it was coming. It wasn't! It hasn't even been picked up by the courier.

Anyway. I unsubscribed from their emails. They kept coming. I emailed them. Twice. They have reassured me twice it will stop. Yet today after twice being told they've removed my details I get another fricking email.

And now their customer service - They've blocked me on Twitter!!

Just putting it out there as a warning. I read on here about it when it was zaggora. Just saying even after their rebrand their attitude stinks.

that's good to know as i've been bombarded on facebook and was tempted by trousers, won't bother now!

saintandsofiasuck · 29/01/2020 18:44

I am genuinely staggered by their response to my complaint. Who the hell thinks blocking a customer is a good idea?!

I've asked for a GDPR request as I'm really concerned they have my details and are totally incompetent. They have promised me twice they've removed my details. Yet the emails keep coming.

All this and I don't even like the clothes I spent over £100 on. M&s is better quality and way cheaper. I bet they wouldn't block you either!!

I ordered the Camden wide leg trousers recently having been swayed by the Facebook ads. They were honestly truly awful. Allegedly came in 3 different lengths but the ones I ordered (31”) were so short (and I’m not tall). £59 was a joke and the returns are a hassle as you need to email them and pay postage. It was £6.90 to return as I chose to track it as didn’t trust them receiving it. Never again.

esmerelda1988 · 30/01/2020 06:51

I was once blocked by Hoover after commenting all over their twitter about my washing machine that had 4 faults in as many months from new. They didn't respond..just blocked me, and I wasn't rude or abusjve, simply put my experience out there.
Customer service is dead these days Confused

saintandsofiasuck · 30/01/2020 09:04

I bought because of the fuss on here. But the trousers hang funnily. And frankly my m&s pair that cost less than half price hang much better.

And the jumper is just awful. The material is so scratchy and thin. And it has these weird pinched bits in the fabric sticking up at the shoulders. It's just cut shoddily.

But I heard for every one person a customer will tell about good service they'll tell ten about shit service. So to do something like this seems professional suicide. I mean I'm telling everyone I can find.

Now I wouldn't buy anything from Hoover either!

They just promised me a response on Facebook. Then blocked me there too!

I mean it's laughable really.

Pooh, thank you was about to order some trousers.....I like the straight leg joggers with a stripe...Any suggestions for better quality alternatives?

saintandsofiasuck · 30/01/2020 14:24

Glad to save someone from the nightmare of saint and Sofia!

Have you tried mint velvet? I'm loving Oliver bonas at the moment but haven't tried any of their trousers.

It's the holy grail. Finding a pair of comfy trousers. It's just a shame for 50 odd quid the ones I got hung like a sack. Marks do similar (and better cut) loungey trousers but I don't know if they have stripes.

Handsnotwands · 30/01/2020 14:37

oh no. i really liked the look of the camden trousers but was reluctant to purchase off spammy facebook ads.

as hettie says - any recommendations for alternatives?

saintandsofiasuck · 30/01/2020 14:55

Honestly it was the worst purchase ever. And it wasn't cheap. The jumper is horrendous. To call it luxury is taking the piss.

I like mint velvet, kin, jigsaw are quite flattering, joules if you avoid some of the print stuff, actually uniqlo have some nice not too clingy stuff too.

Sorry I can't help more.

Oh no. I've just fallen for and ordered the Camden pants after seeing them all over insta. Wished I checked here first. Ah well - we shall see ...

Handsnotwands · 01/05/2020 13:40

was also tempted (or institutionalised) by their endless adverts for those camden trousers but google threw up bad reviews. if anyone knows of a similar pair, that aren't £60 and rubbish i'd love to hear it

Jedstre · 01/05/2020 13:53

I was tempted by the trousers but thanks for the warning. I’ll step away and attempt to unsubscribe from their emails Hmm

Thistle72 · 01/05/2020 13:54

I was also going to buy the Camden trousers and a few other things. Thank you for restarting the thread, I shall keep my money

TheClootieDumplin · 02/05/2020 03:50

I was just about to order quite a few pieces having seen the company mentioned on another thread. I won't bother now.

SallyOMalley · 02/05/2020 09:22

Mine have now been despatched. Going for the best - will let you know what I think!

SallyOMalley · 02/05/2020 09:22

*hoping

BloggersNetwork · 02/05/2020 09:28

Never heard of them but I won't even look them up now. Thanks for the warning and sorry you've had this hassle.

Didiusfalco · 02/05/2020 09:31

Good to know who to avoid - thanks for sharing.

AnUnlikelyWorldofInvisibleShad · 02/05/2020 09:38

I have four pairs of saint and sofia trousers bought about 6 weeks ago. I absolutely love them and wear them all the time.

SallyOMalley · 02/05/2020 10:40

That's good to know. I'm keeping my fingers crossed ... 🤞

I have 2 pairs of Camden pants and I love them. I agree with Shuttup that the quality is far better than Hush.

Oh if anyone wants free postage use NICE10.

KHodg · 10/05/2020 14:19

I’ve just received my Camden trousers after coveting them for ages. So disappointed! £60 and they feel cheap and nasty, and are shorter than I’d have expected. They look dreadful on too. And having checked the ‘free returns label’, they sting you for £7.50 for a return! Wish I’d seen this thread before I purchased!

PrimalLass · 10/05/2020 14:26

I wrote on my returns note that the trousers were the most unflattering I'd ever seen. Their customer service was pretty rubbish as Zaggora too.
