Nars creamy concealer

purplefig · 15/01/2020 14:44

If you have purple coloured bags, I really rate the Trish McEvoy instant eye lift one. It's so expensive though, so if you can try before you buy do!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 15/01/2020 14:47

If you want a brightener then Revlon primer is amazing,it's got a pink tint and is really looking light and non drying.

I've been using Glossier Stretch. Really nice texture and easy to apply but not particularly full on in terms of coverage. Depends how haggard and near death you look, I'd say. In my case, it's not quite enough.

Shouldershrugger · 15/01/2020 14:51

Mac prolongwear concealer. I've tried others and this one works best for me

confus · 15/01/2020 14:51

I'm still in search of my holy grail consealer - one which brightens up eye area without sitting in lines and making me look haggard. I keep looking at the Trinny one - has anyone tried that

Taddda · 15/01/2020 14:53

A few, depending on how high cover- YSL high cover touche eclat, Estee Lauder Maximum Cover (a little goes along way, use with a concealer brush), Clinique All about eyes concealer (although I think they've recently changed the name to just 'concealer', it's still the same product though).
Personally for daytime wear, the YSL and Smashbox light diffusing powder covers all signs and feels lovely and not at all heavy.

Ticklemeelmo · 15/01/2020 15:07

I really like the Maybelline Fit Me concealers- I've got the shades 10 and 20 and both nearly used up. Not too thick and they look natural. For reference my skin fine is Mac NW15 so quite fair.

I've got quite a few including Mac Pro Longwear and the Collection one in fair but can't get on with them, I find most concealers either quite cakey looking or too pale on me, resulting in an attractive 'reverse panda' look.

Genehuntssexyhands · 15/01/2020 15:08

Primark would you believe! It’s brilliant

Ticklemeelmo · 15/01/2020 15:08

*skin tone not fine

Sexnotgender · 15/01/2020 15:08

Tarte shape tape. Best concealer by far.

BinkySodPlop · 15/01/2020 15:11

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye. Brilliant. Need the tiniest bit, warmed up on tips of fingers, pat on in downward triangle and blend with fingers / brush / egg thingy.

mrslebon · 15/01/2020 18:24

Agree that NARS creamy concealer is good as is the Collection Lasting Perfection. The Glossier Stretch is only really good for touch ups - it's not that great on its own. Don't bother with Trinny BFF Eye - whilst I rate the blushers, lip glow etc. the BFF just didn't compare with the likes of NARS and didn't have enough coverage.

Theseptemberissues · 15/01/2020 19:14

I have really dark circles, really rate the IT cosmetics one, by far the best I’ve tried! You really do need the tiniest bit and it stays put all day

Purplecatshopaholic · 15/01/2020 19:57

I have tried loads. Currently using and liking the Trinny London one - the one with blur in the title. @confus, maybe give it a go?

CookieDoughKid · 15/01/2020 20:00

What are you looking for? Colour correction/brightening? Hard to recommend without more specifics as concealer must match the problem area.

SittingwithPippa · 15/01/2020 20:28

Bobbi Brown corrector with Trish McEvoy in the triangle of light bit.
Dusting of Laura Mercier powder.

workffs · 16/01/2020 12:28

Another one here curious about the trinny one - is it better than the becca one? Does it sit in lines?

bobstersmum · 16/01/2020 12:42

When I'm splashing out I love touché eclat, but for budget I agree the primark one is fab, really good coverage, and aldi do a ysl copy now and then for a few quid, that's brill too.

20viona · 16/01/2020 12:58

Revolution conceal and define. It's THE BEST by far, way better than YSL touché eclat and iv used that for many years.

jimmyjab · 16/01/2020 19:00

Maybelline age rewind is amazing! Not the fullest coverage but you can build it up and it looks very natural but covers dark cirles/acne.

If you can afford to splurge then tarte shape tape is brilliant coverage!

beanaseireann · 16/01/2020 19:42

Revlon YouthFX
Simply brilliant.

Liveinthepresent · 16/01/2020 20:50

Laura mercier secret concealer

Have been repeat buying since I had my first baby !

Rachelfromfriends1 · 16/01/2020 20:55

I have used loads of high end products - I always return to Nars radiant creamy concealer

Laura Mercier’s is good for concealing blemishes but I didn’t really like it under my eye, also the palest shade isn’t light enough to brighten my under eye
