As an aside I get the fashion shows on Instagram and I’ve noticed an uptick in shoes that models can barely walk in

Apple I used to shop in second hand stores and even made my own stuff way back in early twenties. I liked the creativity too.

Does any one have any experience of Sergio Rossi shoes? I’ve seen These and am really tempted as have fancied a pair of like this for ages. I was going to try the LK bennet ones as there is 25% off but some reviews I read said they weren’t worth the money so don’t mind spending more of it’s worth it.

Everyone, I have those SR shoes in a warm grey. I like them - classic, safe - they haven’t dated. Also not too high (for me anyway). They are quite conservative (good for me for work) and less dramatic/softer in statement than, say, a Gianvito Rossi or Jimmy Choo shoe in a similar style.

For this price, you should be getting the perfect court shoe - feeling super flattering and elegant on you.

I have two pairs of SRs (the others are sandals) - both are true to size in my normal size 35.

Every I love those SR shoes, I have the LKB ones, Florissa I think, they no longer do them I've had them for years and they still look great but if I had the option the GR ones would be my shoe of choice. Let us know how they are.

I've just bought some boring basic staples

I'm buying more for my top half than my bottom half as I need to shift 1/2 a stone and then I can wear more of my wardrobe. That's also another reason I haven't bought much as I need to shift those pounds first!

I have similar SR heels Every totally worth paying the extra imo (although mine were a bargain from Bicester) I really notice the difference between those and ones ones I have from LK Bennett. I can walk for ages in the SR. The Lk ones just look nice
I have broken my no spending run. Have ordered a load of slim/straight jeans from Arket, Stories, Topshop and Mango. Have already tried and sent back the Weekday ones I linked a while back, horribly unflattering on me. Will link any keepers when they arrive.
Have also bought these 3 eyebrow products which are all great

Have had a slightly eye watering quote for new kitchen so I am still reigning in spending until I know how much its all going to cost

Good luck with the jeans justa. I like the Marion straight style from lee. They are a bit more fitted on me than the model but I find them quite flattering.

Well done on the no / less spend months to justa and mrsm. I always find it difficult at this time of year as it’s the sale dregs so the chance to bag a ‘bargain’ as well as the new summery stuff that is cheerful after the miserable winter weather, that I often use new purchases as a way to cheer myself up.

Not sure on those white mules but do like Scarlet’s cream jacket.
