This thread is for those that LOVE beauty products... so much so they hoard them, and covet them and behold the beauty that they contain 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Three empties:

Elemis foaming cleansing cream 30ml - loved this. It goes onto dry skin as a cream and then foams when you wash it off. Would repurchase but I'm hoping to switch to a cheapie cleanser when I get through the stash. Replacing with an Elemis cleansing balm 20g.

Elemis Superfood veggie night cream 20ml - used on my neck to use it up. Smelled like a green veggie juice, not what I want from a face cream. Wouldn't buy. Not replacing with a night cream - will just try and work through my stash of day creams. Estee Lauder Revitalist 15ml on the go at the moment.

Elemis Superfood berry face mask 20ml - really liked this. I think I got 4-5 applications out of the tube. Would repurchase but I have an Elemis peptide-4 mask to get through and others in the stash. The I am going to try the Body Shop himalayan charcoal mask as that is so much cheaper.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 22/07/2020 10:37

Totally want to try the bum mask! Might need 2 sachets though :p

WellTidy · 22/07/2020 11:18

A bum mask! That's one way to use up my stash!

IHeartSusanDey · 22/07/2020 11:22

A sample of Amie Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturiser Creme. It was amazing...I loved it. Left my skin feeling so soft and not at all oily. Looked up the full price thinking it would be in the twenties and it was a fiver so a definite purchase! The smell is beautiful too,

IHeartSusanDey · 22/07/2020 11:23

Haha the bum mask sounds great. Might have to go back to LiB now that Glossybox has become a complete, insulting shambles

Costacoffeeplease · 22/07/2020 12:19

Another bunch of empties Smile

WellTidy · 22/07/2020 14:04

Amazing work Costa! You seem to get through loads - that's dedication! What is the Elemis thing on the far left please and what did you think of it (is it a peptide 4 one)?

Costacoffeeplease · 22/07/2020 14:11

Yes it’s a peptide 4 night cream. Quite light and sinks in well

I think I’m a bit heavy handed when applying skin care. I still have so much to get through! My make up lasts forever though, even using it every day 🙄

WellTidy · 22/07/2020 14:30

Lovely. I think I have one of those peptide-4 night creams in the stash. I will look forward to using it!

Caggie09 · 22/07/2020 16:29

@IHeartSusanDey You can get a six item box for £7.50 on LiB if you use this code JOINOFFER8384. A bargain, depending on what's on offer for the month!

Sportycustard · 22/07/2020 23:03

Few empties here. Firstly a Rodial dragons blood hyaluronic acid toner which I really liked and would definitely repurchase. Second an Olay day moisturiser. This is something I go back to when I am sure of what to buy. It's meh but not expensive. I really need to do more research on day moisturiser products. Final empty was a VO5 volumising hair mousse. Not as good as the John Frieda range which I love but half the price.

I admitted defeat with a Tresemmé volumising foam. My hair hated it and it went a strange combo of sticky and frizzy. I am not suffering that much to get through a stash! It's in the recycling bin!

IHeartSusanDey · 23/07/2020 08:18

Ooh thanks Caggie!! I'll do that!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 23/07/2020 23:19

Finished a Calcot Manor body scrub, nothing special. Threw out a very old lush temple balm.

justilou1 · 24/07/2020 00:11

Finished a mini of the classic Laura Mercier setting powder. Would love to give you more of an opinion, but I finished it by dropping it in a damp sink while it was open, and the bloody thing broke. Am consoling myself with the fact that it was a mini and not a full-size.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 24/07/2020 14:19

That's really disappointing @justilou1 :(

Is anyone else wearing less makeup since lockdown but when you do put some foundation/BB cream on it just breaks you out? I've had really good skin which I think is in part due to less stress but also the wonderful vit C serum I've been using. A couple of times a week I'll need a bit of coverage for a meeting and my previously much loved Missha BB cream gives me a break out of spots every time :(

Babysharkdoodoodood · 24/07/2020 15:44

I've only put make up once a fortnight for family zoom. I don't 'go live' on work Skype. Audio only. Grinand then had those horrible under the skin lumps that just sit there and hurt.

All I'm doing now is the usual cleanse, tone, moisturise, with the odd mask on. And lots and lots of baths.

Just renewed all my mascara and a few other bits on a benefit blow out. My eyebrows might be like a jungle but they're going to be a filled in jungle. Daren't tweeze them as I always get it wrong.

Experiment627 · 24/07/2020 16:37

@WellTidy I liked the Elemis berry mask too... no contest for me against the BS charcoal one.

@IHeartSusanDey where did you buy the Amie cream?

What is LiB?

Um.... so I did a "little" shop on Space NK to get my birthday gift and free delivery... I think I may have fallen into a black hole 😬😬😬😬

Caggie09 · 24/07/2020 17:27

@Experiment627 LiB, is Latest in BeautySmile

Alberto Balsam shampoo. Just a basic cheapo. I felt like i had to use alot to get a decent lather. If on a real tight budget, its okay. I wouldnt bother with it again.

Paula's choice BHA liquid. I really seen a difference in my skin with this, i dont think i want to go without a BHA in my routine.Id like to try others though and hope my skin agrees with it? One's ive had my eye on are Glow Recipe or a few Korean one's on Yesstyle. I wont buy another right away, as have other acids to use up!

IHeartSusanDey · 24/07/2020 19:18

Experiment I got in a beauty box I think at some time...I've just purchased off the Amie website though. It is such a beautiful cream and not expensive.

IHeartSusanDey · 25/07/2020 16:11

FINALLY finished Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate....and I mean finally in a good way as it lasted ages!! I used it morning and night every day for around six weeks and didn't scrimp on it either. It glided on like a dream - no scent at all. I think it made a little difference in making my skin look smoother and fuller but not enough to repurchase. It was a nice base for moisturiser. I would give it 6/10.

Caggie09 · 25/07/2020 16:42

I used a product from Goopbeauty last night, my first thing from the brand. The goop and glow pad with 15% glycolic acid for overnight use. With it being 15% i was expecting more of that intial sting when you first apply an acid, maybe im just used to it now? When i woke up my skin looked glowy, but could of been sweat👀 After washing my face i wasnt left amazed by the product. It's a once a week treatment, think id just to prefer to use a toner every night to keep up with the glow!
Also bought a new micellar water as im running low, and listed a few bits on Ebay to get rid!

IHeartSusanDey · 25/07/2020 17:17

Is that the Gwyneth Paltrow line, Caggie?

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/07/2020 17:23

Did you not fancy the jade love eggs then? :p

woodhill · 25/07/2020 17:28

Yes I seem to have acquired a lot of stuff over lockdown and not even bothering with make up.

stepmotherofone · 25/07/2020 17:56

Joining you all as I have issues. I was doing really well. Then I went to a beauty event where I received a massive goody bag and got a bit carried away with the beauty advent calendars. I love trying stuff but my skin could do with a more settled routine. Plan to dig everything out this evening to see just how bad it is. Aiming to use up at least one product a week
