New Year, new thread!!!! Continuing the great work already started!!!

This thread is for those that LOVE beauty products... so much so they hoard them, and covet them and behold the beauty that they contain 🥰🥰🥰🥰

No7 soft and soothed cleanser gone.

Still trying to use up body shop sumptuous cleansing butter and Neals Yard Ella face wash before I open up anything else but I do like a lotion. Might try and add in Sukin cleansing oil instead for days I dont want to wet Wash.

All I’ll use with the nakin toner I have.

Dilemma:- I have a NARS multiple stick that I use every day. (South Beach. It makes me look alive.) It will probably be done within a week or two. I have a colourpop bronzing stick thing, but it’s actually nothing like the NARS one. It’s pretty much a face full of sparkles and it removes everything underneath it. Should I try and make it work and probably hate it, or give it to one of my DD’s and just buy the NARS again? Also quite like the look of a Nabla skin glaze which may be very similar....

lockdownalli, it was fine! Worked well with the rest of my skincare. Nothing amazing happened, but always cooling and nice to do!

justilou1, if you know your going to hate it dont bother, go for the NARS! You know you love it, and you know the other product wont live up to it!

Fresh, Rose deep hydration toner. I loved this. It has petals in the actual toner, think they could be left out though as they block the little hole when trying to get product out. It's not like the usual toner that sinks in straight away, you can feel the coating it leaves on your skin. It hydrates and felt such a treat using it. It is pricey though, £34 for 250ml? I probably will repurchase at some point, i alternate between this and an acid toner. Ive got two Elemis toners to use up, but i will come back to this! ❤

Grow Gorgeous scalp detox. This only a travel size, i picked 3 up in TKmaxx for about £2 a piece yonks ago, and i have a full size tub too. I prefer the Umberto Giannini one, cheaper too. The particles are so small you've got to pressure wash your scalp to get the bloody things out, you'll find a stray scrub ball in your hair otherwise. Doesnt make my scalp and hair feel as clean. One thing i am getting better at is, dont buy multiples of things all at once!

Femmue Vital C. I used as my AM routine, it didnt wow me really, not even sure it appeared from!

Caudalie vinoperfect serum 1ml sachet. You cant judge much on one application, but i liked it, my face looked hydrated and felt it. Ive plenty of serums to use up though, but i wouldnt say no to trying a full size!

Go with the NARS @Justilou1. Life is rubbish enough now what with cancelled holidays and homeschooling and Boris. If the NARS gives you the glow you want don't change it. This is about using up stuff that works not suffering for months!

I've just finished a large L'oreal age perfect micellar water. Was quite good and would repurchase in the future but I am using up my stash of cleansers.

I have a birthday on Saturday. I’m going to ask for a voucher for the store that sells NARS here in Aus. There might be another thing or two I need later as well!

Btw, I tried the other one and it’s greige on my face. Nobody looks alive with that!

I have an empty:

• Me+ Acacia Collagen Booster: got this pipette doser thing from Superdrug, really cheap, and this was nice on the skin - felt hydrating, although I prefer Hyaluronic Acid

Also I am giving an almost full bottle of Lush No drought dry shampoo (which expired in 2019 😳) to my SIL. It was my mum's but she has never used, I tried again this morning and it makes my hair greaser and yuck. I know SIL likes it.

BTW I have started using The Inkey List Retinol Serum as part of night routine - me likey!!! And also the Botanics night cream (lavender colour box) - gorgeous smell and goes on well. Also have Curex eye cream - liking it all!!!!

Skincare empty no. 20, which means that my first goal of 2020 (finishing 20 skincare products of ANY SIZE) is complete! ✔️

Medik8 clayMask Pore Refining Mask Spa-Experience Kaolin & Bentonite Mask (75 ml; £29) which expired in February 2019 😓 I used it at least once a week, and it lasted for 29 (!) months 😱 so it is a very good value for money if you don’t mind cutting the tube and using it for longer than the recommended 12 months after opening. It has a nice cranberry scent, and leaves my skin incredibly soft. The only drawback is that it contains alcohol denat. To prevent skin dehydration, I would recommend using a deeply moisturising cream / mask immediately after. If you do so, this clay mask can be used DAILY without causing any issues.

A total number of products left in the face mask category: 1 foil sachet, 5 deluxe samples, 4 full-size jars/tubes and 14 sheet masks 🆘

I haven’t bought anything since December and broke that when I went to Waitrose on Friday. They had, reduced to £2.65, nip + fab dragons blood serum! Bargain! Obviously I couldn’t leave it there, not that I know whether or not I like it! It is hyaluronic acid based, so I will try it when I use the dr sebagh hyaluronic acid that I’ve never opened despite getting it in the Liberty 2018 calendar.

I have been having the urge to spend so have updated my beauty haul list. I know I have some avene to still add.

Nope I need nothing. Not even what I thought I was low on. Chosen some more products to line up to use.

For me this is about using what I have and making room. Hopefully then I can choose my holy grails...

DD2 was delighted with her spontaneous colourpop gift. (She might have been gifted with some more declutters....)

@welltidy I have the Nip & Fab Dragons Blood face mask and it is pretty good.

I finished up a Dove Derma Spa Summer revived tanner today. Started a Dove Visible Glow. Does anyone actually know the difference between these two products because to my mind they are pretty interchangeable

Full size regenerate toothpaste, got this in a liberty advent calendar a couple of years ago and have repurchased several times. On my last one now so have ordered a new supply

Prai neck and Décolleté serum, love their products have a couple of the creams in the stash

Elemis sweet orchid hand and nail cream, 15ml, found this in a drawer and finished it up

Space nk minis -
IGK hydrating hair balm, prefer the Percy and reed no oil oil but it was ok
Algenist collagen calming relief, didn’t notice much difference
Kiehl’s line reducing concentrate. Not really enough to see if it worked
Darphin pro vitamin c&e concentrate - nice texture and sinks in well
Tata Harper water lock moisturiser. Perfectly fine except the pump failed after a few goes so I had to scrape the product out

So I've just been to the post office and sent off a box of unwanted makeup to 'Give and Make up' so not only do I feel virtues but my makeup box is significantly clearer.

I have realised that I loathe sheet masks. I genuinely feel that they’re a waste of time. Going to get rid of every single one. I have a friend who’s going through a rough spot. Maybe she might like some.

I really rate Hyaluronic Acid - get going with using it @WellTidy !!!

Umberto Giannini Grow mask. The scent is beautiful! Reminds me of kinder buenos🙈❤ It makes my hair look glossy and even after days after washing it looks good. Sorts the dead looking ends out too. Not sure on the growth part, i dont put it on my roots! Def repurchase at some point!

Anyone getting a no7 beauty box? I really don’t need any of it so will resist

I went to buy the NARS Multiple Stick in South Beach and the store I went to didn’t have it in stock. Bum. Not the end of the world, because they did have the mini Voyageur Palette in Suède which I thought I had missed out on. I’ve been needing a cool-toned neutral palette and didn’t need a giant one. I love the NARS eyeshadow formula. Early birthday present for me. Meanwhile, DD1 has let slip that I am to expect a voucher to the same store, so will potter off to another one and find South Beach at a later date. Was gifted some more lovely minis to use up later as well! Very luxe this time - La Mer and Chantecaille. (Would never purchase... just couldn’t justify.)

Also, Curel Makeup Cleansing Balm done and dusted. 😢😢😢 Supposedly either just available or coming to Boots. Grab it if you can get it - it’s fabulous. Sold out all over Australia, damn it! I bought the oil today, which is lovely, but not as convenient. I was giften an olive oil-based cleansing balm to try as well.

Palmers body scrub. Leaves my skin soft and the scent lingers. Usually on offer for under £4, will pick it up again in the future.

Heard Boots had a summer sale on, looked online, all out of stock. Looked in my store and nothing, was looking foward to a good browse and a bargain!! Did break my no buy too, bought a Kate Somerville serum from TKmaxx. It lasted 8 days
