Sisley Sisleÿa L'Intégral Anti-Âge sample finished.
It was a nice moisturiser, but not 327 quid nice.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 06/03/2020 22:07

@RiskIt4Biscuit I love love love Sisley but it's to spendy. I paid £70 in November and every month I get a lovely pa k of samples. Decent sizes as well.

ClientQueen · 06/03/2020 22:29

One giant load of empties Grin

Beauty Hoarders anonymous - you have got to be in it to win it!!!!
winterisstillcoming · 07/03/2020 19:27

@ClientQueen be proud!

I've got 3 nip and fab exfoliating pads left and sold the full tub so I repurchased the ZO skin cleanser that I love.

Just finished a small tub of bath salts. 3 more left!

Although I think I have a fair few empties coming up, I have so much stock that I won't get the pleasure of repurchasing for a good while Sad

WellTidy · 08/03/2020 07:21

That is impressive Client especially as some of those are full size.

I have an empty: Clinique take the day off cleansing balm 20g/ml. I liked this, part of a GWP and I have another Clinique one in the stash as well as an Elemis one. My first try of a cleansing balm.

Caggie09 · 08/03/2020 20:17

Lots more ive used up! Gutted though, ive had an allergic reaction to the Elemis rose cleansing balmSad Makes my eyes swell and my forehead red and flaky, so trying to reverse the damage. Not worth putting on my face. Might use the rest up on my body, feel like im wasting it though!

Boots Heat protect spray sleek finish. Aka greasy finish. Didnt like it.

S&G Clean on me. Im over s&g products, dont excite me and pretty basic.. I love the summer scent though. The pump on the bottle didnt work so had to decant. Took ages to use up, glad to see it gone!

Susanne Kaufmann moisturizing mask. This was a god send when i over used the retinol, and when my skins been dry. Makeup the next day doesnt look flaky. Not sure on price so not sure id repurchase.

Drunk Elephant Protini cream. Nothing special, prefer Elemis over this.

Drunk elephant 5ml b hydra. Already repurchased. Using up an 8ml atm.

Drunk Elephant Slaai makeup melting butter. Im 100% repurchasing, takes every spec of mascara off even without using a micellar water before hand. Need to use up my other cleansers first though! Really enjoyed this.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/03/2020 20:27

Tube of Noughty to the Rescue shampoo gone ( belonged to DD)

Bar of Carbon Therapy soap (DS) finished .

I am coveting some Molton Brown for Mothers Day , unsubtle hints dropped to the DC (along the lines of I like this , can you join forces and splash out £22 on your elderly Mother . Ta Muchly )

I will be away from the that day but they'll cope

CantChoose · 08/03/2020 21:57

I’ve finished small sizes of body shop coconut body butter and M&S natural something-or-other Shea body butter.
They were both nice enough and MiniCant is enjoying using the empties as building blocks so that’s a double win!

Also finished josh woods hair oil that I got ages ago in M&S calendar. I really like this but have moved in to using a Kerastase one.

winterisstillcoming · 08/03/2020 22:00

Has anybody taken up the John Lewis offer of taking 5 empties and getting a voucher??

Costacoffeeplease · 09/03/2020 14:17

3 empties today, all trial sizes. Espa fitness body oil, this works pillow spray and Estée Lauder skin activating treatment lotion

LivingDeadGirlUK · 09/03/2020 16:50

I've finished a large bottle of Lacost Touch of Pink perfume. This was my fav for a long time but then everyone started buying it for me and it got a bit much! I've a small bottle left but I might use up a Soap and Glory body mist first just to switch things up a bit.

ClientQueen · 09/03/2020 18:27

I'm about to finish 3 giant things of liquid soap from TK maxx as we have no hand wash at work Grin
I KNEW my hoarding stash would come in handy one day

CherryMargo · 11/03/2020 15:43

Empty no. 15 🚮 Anthony High Performance Vitamin C Facial Serum (30 ml; £45).

I used it up within recommended 24 months but it could be past its shelf life before I opened it (purchased in April 2018). It was of dark orange colour whilst the brand’s website claims that this serum is supposed to be clear, which means by the time I opened it, it had already turned 🤢

An airless push pump bottle (my favourite type of packaging! 💗); absorbs quickly; smells of burnt sugar; stings, dehydrates, and causes redness; broke me out to start with but my skin adapted to it a few weeks later.

A total number of products left in the face oil / serum category: 6 foil sachets, 6 deluxe samples and 6 full-size products. Fingers crossed, one of them will become my HG! 🤞

Caggie09 · 11/03/2020 16:32

Charlottlr Tilbury wonder glow. Used to be HG, but now im wondering if theres any point in primers..

Feather & down bath oil to milk sweet dreams scent. Im drawn to products that promote a good night sleep and relaxing. Would prefer if it stayed an oil tbh.

Bubblegum shower fluff. Bored of it, good riddence!

cravingthelook · 11/03/2020 18:47

Damn airports I just bought a YSL nuit de homme eau Electrique (yes men's but I love it and it works amazing with my skin chemistry

winterisstillcoming · 11/03/2020 20:04

Keep going all!

I've finished a tub of body scrub. It's a really cheap foaming one from Asda and I like it better than my JM. It was 75p so I went back and bought 4 more as they were on clearance. It's just scratchy enough to feel like your scratching a really nice itch.

Looking forward to seeing some space between bottles and jars in my beauty cupboard.

Costacoffeeplease · 11/03/2020 22:26

A full size herbal essence conditioner finished today, plus a Clinique sample eye cream

RiskIt4Biscuit · 12/03/2020 00:25

Finished a Mario Badescu ceramide eye gel.
It was affordable and was nice, but I forgot to use it for a while (and didn't miss it or notice any difference) - and I think I prefer a cream texture rather than gel.

LonelyBones · 12/03/2020 18:32

Please help the environment and take your empties to John Lewis for their beauty recycle scheme.

You get £5 discount off anything in the beauty dept. No minimum spend. No voucher given, they just do the reduction at the till.

Ive done this a few times and even bought a reduced/clearance item with the £5 discount.

winterisstillcoming · 12/03/2020 21:14

Thanks for that @LonelyBones I'm going tomorrow so I'll grab something x

ememem84 · 14/03/2020 22:00

Finished a mascara which I got free in a magazine. No idea of the brand.

Also gone:

  • boots baby bedtime bath

Am also almost done with my Superdrug aloe Vera moisturiser jelly stuff. Nice stuff. But not as nice as the usual clarins or Clinique ones I buy.

I’m using up hand cream like a demon. Thanks to Coronavirus I’m using hand sanitiser loads more and it’s drying out my skin. So moisturising.

Experiment627 · 15/03/2020 12:14

@70isaLimitNotaTarget haha! Brillo pad!!!

Hope everyone stays safe xxxxxx

3 "empties":

  • Pure super hydrate: meh
  • Formula absolute ultimate sleep cream: HG - this was just a small tube
  • Bella pierre balck eyeliner: no idea if any good - Kwicklet destroyed this

Caggie09 · 15/03/2020 13:10

@LonelyBones, does it have to be products John Lewis sell? I dont have JL near me, but wluld keep them for when im next near one!

Found the culprit to my allergic reaction the other week, Body shop Camomile eye makeup remover. As soon as i opened ny eyes this morning i knew sonetthing wasnt right, my eyelid has swollen quite alot. Vag of frozen peas, ibuprofen and benadryl and its subsided. Thank god i was off work today!! Its going straight down the sink, was going to try the cleansing balm, will pass!

Malin & Goetz eucalyptus deodrant. Im all for natural deos, but i didnt feel secure with this at all. Felt like i smelt weird.

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 14:20

💄

IPokeBadgers · 16/03/2020 12:04

Couple of empties....a bottle of Lidl Cien eye make up remover, was cheap, cheerful and a bit crap so def not for repurchasing. And a Superdrug B Glycolic peel cream facewash which I love and have a spare bottle of.
Am seeing a small silver lining in being a toiletries/cosmetic hoarder...with all that's going on on the world at least I will be clean and nicely made up as the sh*t hitsthe fan! 😘
