New Year, new thread!!!! Continuing the great work already started!!!

This thread is for those that LOVE beauty products... so much so they hoard them, and covet them and behold the beauty that they contain 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Radox bath foam finished. Only my son uses it and he will be moving onto a johnson and johnson one.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 16/03/2020 15:17

@Experiment627 Back to the greasy hair discussion. I just started with faith in nature dragonfruit shampoo and conditioner and I wore my hair down two days in a row :O

CherryMargo · 16/03/2020 18:24

Empty no. 16 🚮 OSMO Intensive Deep Repair Mask (100 ml; £1.40) which I purchased back in December 2015 🤢

Now let me confess – I love a high-quality experience in a hair salon, but I hate at home hair care. I hate sitting with my hair soaked in a mask, I hate rubbing ampoules into my scalp, and I absolutely hate styling my hair. That being said, I have 47 hair products in my stash, one half being GWPs, and the other half is me trying to become my fantasy self and failing miserably 😞

As for the mask, it is rather thick due to a cheap mineral oil being its main ingredient, so I used a wide tooth detangling comb to apply it evenly. The instructions say to keep it on for a maximum of 10 minutes, but I’d recommend waiting for 20-30 minutes and using a heated towel to achieve a decent result.

A total number of products left in the hair mask category: 2 foil sachets, 4 deluxe samples and 1 full-size product.

Batiste floral dry shampoo. Hated the scent.
Moved onto a soap and glory one. All good.

Anti bac hand gel gone. 🙄

WellTidy · 17/03/2020 16:42

30ml Clinique liquid facial soap finished. It was a GWP and I wouldn’t buy it. No different to many other cleaners. I have another one of these in the stash and will happily use it again though.

Caggie09 · 17/03/2020 20:26

Used up a Cowshed uplifting shower gel. I really enjoyed this. Only 30ml, got a few showers out of it. My birthday next month, so ill treat myself to a big bottle i think. Oh what a life treating myself to a shower gelGrin

Sometimes its not all bad having hoards of products, i have a little "pharmaceutical" basket full off products too! But in all seriousness, i hope everyone stays safe and well❣

winterisstillcoming · 19/03/2020 21:15

I've finished a shower gel and a sample double wear mascara.

I've decided that we're not beauty hoarders but beauty preppers! I've not worried once about whether I have enough of anything. I've even found 2 hand gels in my various handbags. I'll soon add these to my empties.

If I go into isolation then I have plans to use a lot of product.

Keep safe and healthy everyone. We all going to be beautiful on facetime.

Costacoffeeplease · 20/03/2020 12:15

4 empties today, all trial sizes
Neals yard rose sauvage hand cream - soaks in nicely and not too overpowering scent
Clinique clarifying lotion - felt very astringent, glad I didn’t have a full size one
Emma Hardie moisture boost vit c cream - nice but nothing special
Rituals nurturing shower oil - nice but prefer soap

Caggie09 · 20/03/2020 17:28

BubbleT pink lemonade shower gel. Not keen on the texture. And i dont feel very clean when using it, and at this monent in time i want to feel squeeky clean. Got 3 more BubbleT shower gels to use up.

Klorane oat dry shampoo. My hair is seriously p*ing me off! Looks greasy all the time, left it a week without washing. Looked greasy the next day after i washed it. Grrrrr. It was okay, im flying through the bloody stuff so it has to be good!

ememem84 · 22/03/2020 20:17

Empties this week:

  • boots baby bath bubbles
  • lavender oil
  • clarins Hand and nail cream
  • Clinique take the day off
  • three bath bombs
winterisstillcoming · 22/03/2020 22:20

My LRP toleriane Sadfinished. It's boring but a real workhorse. I've got some Olay to crack open so I'll see how that goes.

RiskIt4Biscuit · 22/03/2020 23:55

I'm so excited to have finished a Lumene cleansing oil. It was a luxury sample size or travel size from an advent calendar.

I loved the scent, and it worked really well as part of a double cleanse routine. It left a layer of oil/film on my skin (not unexpected as it is an oil) so had to follow with a different cleanser.

But it sadly really stung my eyes every time I used it (as it got too close or in my eyes), so I will not purchase a full size of this.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 23/03/2020 14:50

I used a pommegranet face mask but its caused me to break out which is annoying My skin was already looking awful due to stress.

Costacoffeeplease · 24/03/2020 11:46

A few empties today. Full size Judith Williams neck and décolleté cream - I like this but have several others to use
Trial sizes
PK Prep perfecting spray - quite like this but have lots of similar products
Valmont eye cream - likes this consistency and it soaked in nicely
Clinique moisture surge, like this too and have a full size one in the stash

Babysharkdoodoodood · 24/03/2020 15:41

I've been taking advantage of the isolation and have been giving my skin a rest from products. Just the basic cleanse, tone and moisturise. No make, no masks, no treatments. It's gone so soft on its own, so may have to rethink all the junk I slap on it.

Caggie09 · 24/03/2020 21:02

Lacura booty balm body cream. A duoe for the bum bum cream. If Aldi realise this again this summer, in 100% repurchasing. Wouldnt say it smells like the bum bum cream, but it a lovely scent!

ememem84 · 24/03/2020 21:27

SuperDrug aloe Vera jelly moisturiser used up. Was getting so bored of this ive just out a smidge in my face as a night cream and have slapped the rest on my hands and feet.

Moving onto a double serum for night time useage.

SausageDog20 · 24/03/2020 21:29

I’m a bit late to this but I hope you all don’t mind me joining in as I have realised while in self isolation the hideous amount of beauty products I have hoarded!

Last week I managed to get through:

-A lemongrass soap from Tkmaxx
-Champneys Mini Citrus Body Butter
-A cherry mini hand sanitiser

I’d probably only repurchase the body butter, as it did sink in well and smelled wonderfully fresh Smile

Costacoffeeplease · 24/03/2020 22:55

Welcome Sausage 😊

Franticbutterfly · 24/03/2020 23:01

I finished an Hourglass ambient light palette (the 2017 limited one) I never thought I'd see the day!!!

Experiment627 · 25/03/2020 08:10

@LivingDeadGirlUK Thanks for the shampoo recommendation - will see if I can get hold of some!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/03/2020 09:07

@Experiment627 Amazon have stockists if they are still shipping.

Experiment627 · 25/03/2020 10:33

Welcome @SausageDog20 !!!!

I may put an order in @LivingDeadGirlUK - I actually placed an order with Function of Beauty for some customised shampoo and conditioner but it has not come and we have moved in with my mum for the duration and her shampoo stock is not great 😬

Caggie09 · 27/03/2020 11:15

Ohh @Experiment627

111skin bio facial mask treatment. Prefer the rose gold ones. Was nice to de-stress with!

Essie strong start basecoat. Bought a BarryM base coat to replace.

Evelom cleanser. I think everyone must of tryed this by now, its okay. Prefer DE balm though.

Zelens marine complex cream. Nothing exciting.

Valentino born in Roma perfum sample. This is a sweet, girly scent. Ill be treating myself to some next month for my birthday i think!

Caggie09 · 27/03/2020 17:57

Just used up a aromatherapy revive morning. Didnt really revive me, but nice enough bath.

OGX b5 conditioner. I have a few more bottles of this stuff, i stocked up when it was under £1. Hair seems in good condition :)
