Could you please tell me what brand you use and why you love it?
I have fine , dry hair and shampoos from boots etc just aren't working anymore.
I feel I need to invest in something better.

@lotusbell let me know how you get on. JL were doing one of their sets in the sale for 29 which has the dry remedy one in, plus some other stuff.

lotusbell · 02/01/2020 19:16

@Standinguptononsense, will do. Just looked at JL, that's a fantastic price for that set. Ordered the 250/200ml shampoo and conditioner on Look fantastic for £23.10. Just over £26 when bought separately.

cstaff · 02/01/2020 19:41

Kerastase conditioner. I wouldn't be too fussy about the shampoo.

Standinguptononsense · 02/01/2020 20:10

Code NEWYEAR will get you £10 off when you spend £50 through the aveda website.

Shelley54 · 03/01/2020 13:15

@deathraystare No it's just a blue bottle. It's not a shampoo for blonde hair (in that it's not got blue tones in it).

Have ordered the red ken extreme on the back of this thread! Fingers crossed!

citygirl1961 · 05/01/2020 21:37

I usually use Well Professionals from the salon but at the moment I'm using the Body Shop ginger shampoo which is good for my itchy scalp. However, I am going back to Wella because when I use that I get people asking if I've just had my hair done when all I've just washed my hair and let it dry naturally and done nothing else to it.

I keep thinking I ought to buy cheaper but the salon stuff lasts a long time anyway and is worth it.

HackAttack · 05/01/2020 21:56

What would you recommend for think hair with a tendency to oiliness? Smile

FredaFox · 11/01/2020 17:41

Usually use the tigi big bottles but my hair can be dry so very tempted with redken extreme off the back of this thread though I love the smell of cherries so the aveda sounds good too

Oops posted too soon
Now I've had a Dyson airwrap I want to try and improve my hair condition and limit my use of straighteners

joan12 · 11/01/2020 18:01

Aveda all the way here!

NormaLouiseBates · 11/01/2020 23:53

On the back of this thread I bought the Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner. I really liked the shampoo but the conditioner was a bit odd. Made my head feel really cold when it was on, which wasn't pleasant as I like to leave my conditioner on for a while before rinsing off. Does anyone else get this? I was a bit disappointed to be honest as it wasn't cheap.

luckymagnoliatree · 12/01/2020 00:00

I have very fine hair. I've tried so many different brands over the years but Monat shampoo & conditioner are honestly the best products I've ever used (their skincare is amazing too) I wouldn't use anything else! It's changed my hair for the better, I've also had so much new growth it's crazy.

They have an amazing offer on at the moment of £0 fee to join as a vip, you get so many perks which you would usually pay a one off fee of £18 for (offer ends 13th Jan). 30 day money back guarantee, so you really can't go wrong 🙂
