Help me choose an amazing dress

I 'may' be having a significant birthday soon. I was hoping to get a dress made but two local dressmakers have proven useless, so might want to buy one instead.

I'm size 14, used to be hourglass but now a bit rounder, busty. I'm very fussy! I want something that feels dressy but could equally well just be worn with ankle boots and a biker jacket to the pub. Would prefer it to have at least short sleeves, and not be polyester. Black or red probably my best colours, or maybe a dark print.

Budget up to about £200 for something really amazing.

The red Westwood dress is amazing. Would look great with something like this www.sandwichfashion.co.uk/p/vegan-suede-look-biker-jacket-pSAN-25001543-80041 and ankle boots

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/12/2019 23:18

I like that, Nan but it would look terrible on me.

Not so fond of the TB.

Strictly - I've got some lovely biker jackets in leather, but don't like to wear them indoors. A biker shape in fabric would be perfect.

I'm not picky. Given It was my first go, I'll take a very polite "not so fond". Grin

Red MK one is poly.

I like both of those, Panic. The KS would be even better with less crazy sleeves!

Ok I’m going in. This is my favourite Nancy Mac and I think it’s colours & a style you like.

Hmm. That cream flowery thing is one of the most revolting things I've ever seen. Sorry but it really is horrible imvho. I'm being rude and am very sorry but...but....I really, really hate it!

I like the black floral Reiss one.

Don't really like that NancyMac, or not for me anyway.

Please go for a Nancy Mac because I want to win the thread for suggesting her in the first place I would so love to own one, but not sure my spare tyre would fit into it.
