Thanks @TSSDNCOP I'm safely far from the fires though we have a long summer to get through.

Spudlet · 24/12/2019 21:01

We put a glass of milk out for Santa tonight too! I asked DS what nice drink he thought Santa would like, and that was his answer. I was hoping for Baileys myself Xmas Grin

Merry Christmas one and all again. Love that slideshow of the DoC at Christmas - she normally looks good, I think, although not sure about that brown tweedy one or the tartan with the gigantic fur hat. But some of the others are lovely!

BlingLoving · 24/12/2019 21:19

Dd insisted on milk because, "everyone likes milk". Previous poster just reminded me
...
I FORGOT THE BLOODY BAILEYS. Slaps face.

thisenglishlife · 24/12/2019 21:21

Merry Christmas everyone!

Not festive, but I saw this rare photo of Kate.

Merry Christmas to you all, may all your festive wishes come true - and as @Spudlet said, bare minimum washing up in your tiaras! @frugalkitty wishing your Dad a speedy recovery, or reduced pain if recovery isn't looking great.

As others have said on Twitter, headband or hat?

Santa's sherry has been drunk here, and mince pie and carrot consumed. What funny traditions Grin Weird enough to give our royals a run for their money? Crown Wink

Just found this amazing series of threads and I am totally onboard!!! Yes yes to the bloody glass of milk thing! I'm shocked the children went for that this year!

Lunde · 24/12/2019 21:47

Christmas Eve is the big day in Sweden. CPV and family thanked the emergency services and staff that must work Christmas and this afternoon they visited a Police Station with gingerbread to wish those working a God Jul (merry Christmas)

Gosh Kate is stunningly beautiful in that burgundy hat photo

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/12/2019 21:56

I like CPV's red dress but what's hanging round her neck? A necklace or part of the dress?

Thisenglishlife I love that old pic of Kate - she looks lovely when relaxed, natural or no make up etc. I know it must be tempting to do 'more' when she's scrutinised so much, but i hope she steps away from too much botox/ make up etc

MilleniumHallsWalledGarden · 24/12/2019 22:14

wetdog hat hat hat!

peridito · 24/12/2019 23:01

Mumsnet has a new phrase - Dogs Bum Face when you pull that face when you don’t give two shits about anyone else.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/12/2019 00:11

Usually Royal xmas cards have a traditional picture on the outside and a photo opposite the signature inside.
It’s a horrible card. Perhaps the family photo has been replaced by the dogs arse.

I hope one of the grey men had had words with the Queen to keep Andrew away. I reckon he’ll walk; flanked by his —human shield— daughters and sons in law.

TokyoSushi · 25/12/2019 00:57

Just back from church, beautiful new Cambridge Christmas card out, taken by the DoC.

Not good at links from my phone but Merry Christmas all, I'm sure you'll all see it in the morning!

MilleniumHallsWalledGarden · 25/12/2019 01:01

New pic from the kensingtonroyal account.

Lovely pic from the Cambridge's.

TSSDNCOP · 25/12/2019 01:07

Yep. Well played the DOC, well played. That is literally the opposite of the Yorks card. I do think if we listen carefully we may here the sound of a royal coffin being nailed shut.

Producers of the Crown 2020, this is where you write The Yorks out.

Lunde · 25/12/2019 01:59

Beautiful picture of the Cambridges - Louis is really growing up now!

WineOrGinOrBoth · 25/12/2019 06:09

Lovely picture of William with the little ones.

Merry Christmas everyone Xmas Smile

AppleKatie · 25/12/2019 06:33

Cute picture. My goodness doesn’t George look different when his face is relaxed and he thinks he’s ‘off duty’.

Encyclo · 25/12/2019 07:21

Gorgeous family pic. Merry Christmas everyone

itswinetime · 25/12/2019 07:27

Merry Christmas!!! I'm off home after the night shift but I hope you all have a lovely morning and I look forward to your thoughts on the Christmas style parade or walk to church however you want to think of it Crown Wink

Horsemad · 25/12/2019 07:28

Some lovely pictures on here. 🙂

@MilleniumHallsWalledGarden, loved the ones of PA & PM that you posted.

@Wetdogloveshubert, I think your picture of DoC in the burgundy hat is gorgeous, she really does look stunning in that one.

And finally, the Cambridge's pic of PW & children - cute!

Looking forward to the walk to church pictures later. Smile
