I love leopard print too. I know it's not to everyone's taste though.
Is it 'over' or still in?
I wear it all the time Xmas Grin

I'd love to see a picture or a link to the jumper @happytobemrsg

ememem84 · 26/12/2019 17:14

always imo leopard print is a neutral. So it’s never ā€œinā€ or ā€œoutā€ šŸ˜‚

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 26/12/2019 17:28

That's good enough for me Xmas Grin @ememem84 šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 26/12/2019 17:29

Kat Slater has given it a bad name Xmas Wink

PalacePaper · 26/12/2019 18:07

I've had my cord skinnies for a few years now but haven't worn then for a while - I'd forgotten how much I like them as a change from jeans.

Love your jumper dress @KiteflyingKat and your jumper sounds fab @happytobemrsg; I agree leopard print is a neutral Smile I'm thinking about looking for a leopard print top before starting my no spend. Speaking of which, I need to decide on my rules - would anyone like to share theirs? I think mine might be around only shopping in real shops and no online purchases (I have to travel to get to decent clothes shops so this would definitely result in a reduction in spend) but I could do with some more inspiration...

happytobemrsg · 26/12/2019 19:08

The jumper is in the sale now! Ā£49 & I think they have all sizes. I’m a size 10 & bought the XS which is just oversized enough for me to wear tucked in jeans.

Here’s the link : www.mintvelvet.co.uk/product/Khaki-Animal-Print-Boxy-Jumper/20145

I’d say it’s my favourite jumper I’ve bought this Autumn/Winter.

@PalacePaper so I’m not allowed to buy any clothes or jewellery until my personal shop in March except for:
White trainers (thinking Veja)
Black trainers (thinking Vans)
^^ I want both of these ready for my new clothes which is why I’m ok buying them early.

I love it Xmas Smile

I'm going to the sales tomorrow Xmas Grin

I am not familiar with this 'no spend' you speak of Xmas Wink

ememem84 · 26/12/2019 20:23

I might hit the sales tomorrow. Trouble is I’ll have to take dh and therefore the dc with me. So even if we team it and take one kiddo each I’ll be accompanied by either ds (2) or Dd (5 months).

KiteflyingKat · 26/12/2019 20:40

Thanks for the jeans info @Ellapaella

Sooverthemill · 26/12/2019 21:25

Hope everyone had good Christmases.

We have all the kids here which is great but Gosh very busy!
Yesterday during the day I wore comfy clothes sweatshirt and hush jogger shape trousers) for being busy and a dress for the evening ( we have dinner in the evening always)
And today I wore all saints jumper ( snap @ella ) and velvet jeans and patent leather ankle boots to pop out to see DSs new flat. Moved in last Saturday). And my new Christmas present coat.

Happy Christmas everybody. Sorry I didn't have time to do Christmas Day and Boxing Day outfits as it was utter chaos Chez Stewards.

I've realised I need to sort something out to wear the night before if I'm going to try to incorporate my lesser-worn pieces. I just don't have time in the morning for a considered outfit choice! However, one happy consequence is that I am also wearing jewelry and makeup that I do not often wear so everything is getting a bit of an overhaul.

I have a significant spend coming up this year on a hobby related item, so trying not to spend money on Style and Beauty in the meantime. That's my motivation!

OublietteBravo · 27/12/2019 10:30

So far, so good on avoiding spending money in the sales. £0 spent yesterday!

I’m in my usual off-duty jeans and a jumper combination. Maybe I need to shake this up in the New Year.

Jumper: Warehouse
Jeans: Gap
Trainers: Clarks

I'm home from the sales. I bought my dd & ds soooo many clothes, I even bought dd's Christmas outfits for next Christmas Xmas Confused
They were mostly €20 reduced to €7.

I only bought a tee and earrings for myself.

DONE now and ignoring my emails... they're calling me 😭

Still Ā£0 spend here! Though I’m enjoying making a list for my next seasonal bits

I’m not even slightly tempted to go sales shopping as I’d have to take an 18 month old with me so that’s enough to put me right off Grin

And I don’t tend to do online for clothes as I like to feel them (except for the odd eBay bargains).

Today out for lunch then chilling
Reiss cardi
Phase Eight top
Black Wolford leggings
M&S Boots

All charity shop buys

Splodgetastic · 27/12/2019 17:05

Been doing a bit of a declutter of my wardrobe so that I can more easily shop it. One of my finds was a DvF wrap dress, but it’s showing more of my chest area than I’d like, maybe because I am not used to exposing so much. Any tips to prevent wardrobe malfunctions? Was thinking of getting a crop top type bra maybe.

ememem84 · 27/12/2019 20:52

Popped into town today and had a look at the mint velvet jumper that mrsg (I think) linked to.

Aaaand have ordered it online. And also another one which I saw but didn’t have I. My size in store.

Also picked up a yellow floral tea dress in oasis and a cord skirt from warehouse. Purple cord mini skirt. Will be ace for work with a nice blouse tights and booties.

Talisin · 27/12/2019 22:11

@ememem84 I think I’ve ordered that same Warehouse skirt in the Next sale! Had vaguely had my eye on it for a while.

happytobemrsg · 27/12/2019 22:56

Ooooo let me know what you think @ememem84

Sooverthemill · 28/12/2019 08:57

Today I'm less Christmassy.

Jumper: brand new bought in independent boutique in town their own brand. Organic cotton jumper which I thought was a lovely shape
Jeans: Boden velvet as ever for speed today ( must get others out of wardrobe)
Shoes: kurt Geiger

Currently I’m in my new jammies then will throw some old jeans on and get on with cleaning.

Later on I’m going riding so will throw my johdpurs on. Nothing glam today.

Had some knee boots arrive from the next sale that I ordered and just not sure. Will find pics.
