@toastfiend wow, love your outfit. You look so cool, and I love those boots and trousers. Are the trousers a recent buy?

toastfiend · 21/01/2020 11:57

@ellapaella ah, thank you so much! I bought the trousers back in September, I think, but they had a recent restock of them: lucyandyak.com/collections/all-bottoms/products/copy-of-organic-alexa-in-grey-high-waisted-trousers. They're ultra comfy.

twosoups1972 · 21/01/2020 13:02

@KiteflyingKat I love the silk M&S dress, it's a lovely shape.

KiteflyingKat · 21/01/2020 16:58

@Sooverthemill nice view from your house.

@OublietteBravo I also like that skirt.

@toastfiend I also think you look cool. Never heard of Lucy & Yak, will take a look.

Thanks @twosoups1972 , I also love that dress, it was a charity shop bargain Grin

Sooverthemill · 21/01/2020 18:54

@KiteflyingKat thanks. We back onto a private school which has lovely grounds and we are allowed to walk through to the sea which is rather nice. We get pheasants, muntjac and foxes in our garden!

Chipsahoy · 21/01/2020 19:03

Started out in next skirt and new look too, but felt cold, so changed into new look skirt and target sweater.
Loving the beautiful albeit cold weather, certainly chases away the January blues!

Sorry it’s been a busy few days!!! Wore a Hush jumpsuit to work today. Very comfy but creases a bit.

Lots of lovely outfits ladies

@happytobemrsg bit late but I think that starry dress is fine for a wedding. šŸ‘

OublietteBravo · 22/01/2020 08:32

Hmmm. Something is wrong with today’s outfit. I think it might be the jumper. It’s very old (from 2010ish) perhaps it’s time to remove it from my wardrobe.

Jumper: Karen Millen
Trousers: Boden
Shoes: Phase Eight

@OublietteBravo I think your outfit is great!

toastfiend · 22/01/2020 10:20

@OublietteBravo, I think your outfit is great, love your shoes!

Day with the baby for me today, so I'm a bit scruffy, but I've tried to put a bit more thought into it than I would usually, in keeping with my resolution to make more effort this year!

Jeggings - M&S
Shirt - Zara
Top - H&M

Will be wearing wellies and a tweed coat later when we go to the farm.

twosoups1972 · 22/01/2020 13:22

@OublietteBravo love your red shoes, where are they from? (Don’t you get cold feet?)

OublietteBravo · 22/01/2020 13:44

@twosoups1972 - they’re from Phase Eight but I’ve had them a while (since 2018?). Not much chance of getting cold - my office seems to have a tropical temperature (usually around 25 to 28C). And I’ve got socks/trainers with me just in case.

Sooverthemill · 22/01/2020 14:10

@oubliette I liked them so much I googled them earlier and there's a pair in my size on eBay!

Talisin · 22/01/2020 14:31

The Hush glitter top was a weird unflattering shape so it’s going straight back and my no spend virtue remains technically intactGrin

KiteflyingKat · 22/01/2020 15:03

I’m in Topshop Mom jeans, Diesel high tops, Massimo Dutti t shirt & Hush cardigan.

Tried on some ā€œCarrieā€ jeans in M&S earlier, as I need to replace my New Look skinnies, which have been rubbish quality & I won’t buy again.

The Carrie were a perfect fit (and I fit into a size 8 Grin although clearly ridiculous vanity sizing) I was so happy, then I looked at the rear view and oh my goodness they made my bum look huge . I think due to the position of the pockets & also the pockets seemed quite small. So the jeans hunt continues!

Hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining your thread. This year I am determined to make more of an effort with my outfits and have already made some steps to sorting my wardrobe with the intent to build a more capsule wardrobe around colours/shapes that suit me and actually wearing what I've already got instead of buying more clothes!!

Having said that I got some dark skinney Levi's yesterday as some smart ones I can wear to work but need some heeled tan boots to go with them....any suggestions are welcome! X

Softpebbles · 22/01/2020 15:52

Some lovely outfits lady. Haven’t posted as in a rut. Still doing no spend January if pre-loved doesn’t count!

Welcome to the newbies.

@Sooverthemill if that is your summer house I have summerhouse envy. We are moving this year and that is on my list of needs! Also how did you get on with the warehouse jumpsuit you ordered?

Love the star dress @happytobemrsg although have you googled as I think it is reduced to Ā£14 online in one shop. (Can’t remember where šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø)

I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday. I could go to bed right now - it’s ridiculous how tired I feel. šŸ˜

Sooverthemill · 22/01/2020 16:15

@Standinguptononsense welcome! We love new people. Don't know what your budget is but boden boots are good, huge sale at the moment ditto jigsaw. Also new look, Dorothy Perkins ASOS
Post photos!

@softpepples. Yes it's our summerhouse. It was here when we came which was funny as we also had one in our old garden. I love the colour.i sent back the boilersuit but still kind of look for one. It was too thick and bulky

I also feel 'under the weather' today so am lazing around knitting and drinking tea

Ellapaella · 22/01/2020 16:42

@Standinguptononsense welcome šŸ‘‹
@KiteflyingKat those Mom jeans really suit you

I'm in almost all Hush today- Jumper and Jeans. Trainers are from Dunnes.

I admit to buying a couple of things in the Hush sale - this sale has been the best they've had for ages and I haven't spent much at all. Back on the wagon now though as lots to save for this year. These Hush boyfriend jeans were only £20 in the sale.

Standinguptononsense · 22/01/2020 17:00

Ella - those Jean's are lush and look fab on you! I wish I was the right shape to wear them

Will have a look on Boden and jigsaw. I did get a couple of bits in the jigsaw sale yesterday too!

Momniscient · 22/01/2020 20:05

@OublietteBravo I adore that jumper. I think what might be distracting you is the way the black trousers merge with the block of black on the pattern. What about wearing with pale grey trousers instead? Love the red shoes and how it picks out the wrist detail

Softpebbles · 22/01/2020 20:33

@Ellapaella I’dhave broken my no spend for those jeans. Just logged on and looks like they are sold out as I can’t find them!😭
