Bought as a bit of an impulse buy...was thinking of it as part of my Christmas Day outfit.

here

If you don't think I should return to shop immediately Grin how would you style it?

It’s a link to new look page not an individual item.

VelvetSpoon · 14/11/2019 14:36

Sorry wrong link - hopefully this works

try again

I've got it in the rose gold colour

Was it this one? Your link just takes me to a whole page on the New Look website.

StoatofDisarray · 14/11/2019 14:38

Does it look good on you - that's the important thing. Be honest with yourself.

Worrywart21 · 14/11/2019 14:38

No I love it.

KnickerBockerAndrew · 14/11/2019 14:38

Love it but I don't reckon it would flatter most figures. That length is so tricky to wear!

Worrywart21 · 14/11/2019 14:39

I might buy it and wear it with a black Bardot body suit.

OlderthenYoungerNow · 14/11/2019 14:39

I have no imagination so would style it like the website 😂 i have an hourglass figure and find that skirts in this style have to sit in exactly the right place otherwise they do me no favours!

Bluntness100 · 14/11/2019 14:39

I think it's lovely but pleats are notoriously difficult to wear unless you're tall and slim. Are you?

I'd wear it with a fitted black or charcoal jumper that came down to just above my hips. Otherwise if you suit the colour a cream one.

High knee high black suede boots would also work well. Or a pair of white trainers (maybe not for Christmas Day).

CadburysTastesVileNow · 14/11/2019 14:40

Friend has the black one and it is a thing of beauty

(Also, elastic waist. For Xmas day, did you say? ;)

Blahblahblahnanana · 14/11/2019 14:41

I’d wear what the model is wearing, either a jumper or a cami top but probably the cami with a chunky knit cardi

badbananabad · 14/11/2019 15:01

I love it, gorgeous colour.

melissasummerfield · 14/11/2019 15:03

I love it too but i think you need to be as slim as the model to pull it off, which i definitely am not Blush

toptomatoes · 14/11/2019 15:05

Love it, especially in the colour you have chosen.

Ellapaella · 14/11/2019 15:07

I like it - I'd wear that for evenings out.

Ilovethekitties · 14/11/2019 15:08

Love it - black bardot t shirt, long or 3/4 sleeves and a nice pair of earrings!

Velveteenfruitbowl · 14/11/2019 15:09

I find that just hideous but I’m a bit weird about metallics and visible elastic waits.

VelvetSpoon · 14/11/2019 15:13

It is outside my usual comfort zone in colour and length so asking for a bit of reassurance!

I've lost 7st in the last year...an now a 10-12, and 5ft 6. So not that tall or skinny but hoping I can pull it off....

Love the colour. I'd wear it with a slouchy jumper. And well done on the incredible weight loss, you'll look fab whatever you wear.

Shouldershrugger · 14/11/2019 15:49

Love it. Turtle neck or bardot top. Or casual it with a slouch jumper or off the shoulder jumper. Im sure you'll look lovely

sunshinesupermum · 14/11/2019 15:51

No problem! 10-12 is slim and you're not too short if the skirt falls mid calf on you.

It's lovely and you'll look fab. Experiment with different tops in your wardrobe or wear what they team it within the picture. Show off your figure and weight loss.

MikeUniformMike · 14/11/2019 17:38

The skirt is lovely. Well done on your weight loss. You'll look great in it.

shinynewapple · 14/11/2019 19:28

I love the skirt in black. Really wish I could wear skirts but they don't suit me now ; have to skim over my midriff!

Betty777 · 15/11/2019 18:29

With you figure that should look great! If you'll be sitting down for most of christmas you could wear with ankle boots for a tad more height.

If you are comfortable go for a black on maybe grey fitted tshirt, or if you need to be warmer (or hide excess xmas lunch consumption) then a slouchy jumper - just make sure it's somewhat cropped, rather than longer. you don't want hip length as it will make you look bigger. Lovely skirt

ReginaGeorgeous · 15/11/2019 19:22

I like it! And well done on the weight loss.
