it's gorgeous but I seen it in the shop and it smelled so strongly of fish I sniff tested all the colours they had out and they were all the same... not sure if that was just an issue with the stock in my local store though

That caught my eye in store last week - i really like it. I disagree about having to be mega slim - I'm an apple with a high waist and the woek very well. I would wear with a black cashmere jumper and some suede black boots. I may but too.

I tried this on in the pale pinky colour. I loved it but it annoyed me as the glitter rubbed off.

I thought it would take a willowy figure to carry this off, but i I was pleasantly surprised when I tried some of these skirts on last week.

I am tallish but with quite a big torso, I thought I’d look massive , but I looked ok. I like them with chunky jumpers.

I think they look best on narrow hips - so straight up and downs and apples suit this style regardless of size. A store personal shopper recommended them to me - as an apple i would totally have writen off them off as making me look like a sack of potatoes - but she was right!

I like a pleated skirt. Usually prefer a more muted colour but this will probably look great for the party season.

Agree with other posters that pleated skirts can be a pain to wear. I’ve got really wide hips so whilst I do wear these types of skirts seem to accentuate the disproportionate difference between my waist and hips.
