Bought as a bit of an impulse buy...was thinking of it as part of my Christmas Day outfit.

I have this in the black glitter option, the styling on the mannequin swayed it for me (Altho as a 14 I’m not sure I can pull it off). They’d styled it with biker boots and a slouchy grey jumper. Cool but dressy. Well done on the weight loss!

My colleague has this she’s not slim but looked really nice.

I have a skirt like this but its more shiny than glittery im wearing it today for normal sat afternoon type day xmas shopping in town with black ankle boots a white t shirt tucked in and furry coat. If i was wearing it at night i would probably wear a loose cami type top or black tshirt a long gold necklace and my gold pointy boots. I dix buy it more as something to wear in the day though.

Love it - tempted to wear it with a long chunky jumper and some hiking boots/DMs/blundstones.

I'm a size 6-8 and pleated skirts just look dreadful on me , make me look huge! I think it's cos I'm quite short-waisted with dumpy legs

@dazzlinghaze they all stink!!!! Went in today to get my skirt and a different body suit and all the glittery pleated ones stank. The non glittery one was fine.

@Rosere I wonder what that's all about?! Such a shame cos they're beautiful skirts. I've only had that before with some cheap leather look stuff.

It might be a glue used in the manufacturing process. I worked in a shoe shop many moons ago, we would get certain brands of canvas trainers in that always stunk of fish and the manager told me it was the glue they used.

I bought this online but it does smell of fish! I've been trying to decide whether to return/exchange or bung it in the wash and hope it clears. If it is a glue will the smell go after a wash? It looks so nice on!

I’ve got the silver one and when I wore it recently
I must have had 30 people tell me they liked it and that it looked good. I’m definitely not tall and skinny either( 5’4” 12/14) . Just wore it with a black bodysuit.

There was glitter all over the inside of my car for a few days though.

I have this skirt, I love it, its too long for me, so I need to take it up

But yes I agree, it smells, I washed it in fabric softener and left it to hang for 3 days and kept spraying it with body spray

Love it! I’d wear it anytime as well as Xmas . you could dress it down with a polo neck top and a denim jacket to make it a bit more casual

I bought this in black and pink. It looks amazing on and is perfect for Christmas. I might return the pink one though as I will get more wear out of the black. I also agree that they stink of fish. I am assuming it will wear off. I might hang it outside when it stops raining

Nice colour but youd have to be on the tall side to wear it imho.
The most important thing is you love it and it looks good on you and makes you feel good.
