Oh lord Nink you are incorrigible 😂

MerlinsButler · 12/02/2020 18:17

@Ninkanink ooh I'm looking for a burgundy leather skirt. Let me know if you find one. Love your outfit ideas too.

Ellapaella · 12/02/2020 20:33

Sounds lovely nink

dontcallmelen I really am! And this is me being quite restrained... Blush I’ve got one leather skirt but it’s a size down from where I’m at so can’t wear it atm. I think I’ll hold off until the summer sales and see if I can snag a bargain in my current size. @MerlinsButler I’ll let you know if I come across something good!

I didn’t love the dress from Jaeger so it’s going back. But the oversize jumper is perfect and I’m chuffed to have got it at a great price. Haven’t received the bag and bangle from Jigsaw yet but I think unless I absolutely love them I’ll have to return as neither were strictly necessary. The jigsaw silk scarf (eBay purchase) is beautiful and goes so beautifully with my ‘going’ out colours, so that’s a keeper (plus I saved 50% on retail price).

I’m seeing a lot of jewellery that I love atm. Mustn’t get obsessive though!! I’ve been coveting a couple of bags from Aspinal for such a long time and really want one for my birthday in several months so I need to stop spending in drips and drabs and get saving!

On bags, apparently Mulberry have started a handbag exchange! You can bring in your older bags and trade them in towards a new purchase, and will also be able to buy authenticated and restored pre-loved bags from them. I think it’s a great idea and I’ll definitely be looking to take advantage.

Sooverthemill · 16/02/2020 09:49

So is anyone buying anything from the new season stuff?

Ninkanink · 16/02/2020 10:36

Sooverthemill I haven’t looked yet! Don’t want to be tempted. But from the selections posted here I definitely love the colour palette.

Sooverthemill · 16/02/2020 11:26

I had an email this morning with a round up of the pastel stuff which just looked so lovely. Pastel shades suit my colouring but not my budget

dontcallmelen · 16/02/2020 16:33

Soover yes I had the email as well, yy the pastel colours & definitely not my budget at the moment!

Countmeout · 16/02/2020 19:16

Thought the colours in the email were lovely but I probably don’t need anything at the moment for spring/summer. I spent this afternoon going through my spring/summer stuff and I have a lot. I am however just a trifle excited having just ‘won’ a Hush Solana dress bnwt on eBay in black ( I have a green one which I love)

Sooverthemill · 16/02/2020 20:21

@Countmeout well done!

Ninkanink · 16/02/2020 21:20

Oh @Countmeout congrats on your win!

I’ve made probably my last purchase for quite a while - the last thing I needed for my wedding outfit next week: 😊😊

A little blush pink clutch bag from Dune which was on sale, and I negotiated an extra 10% off because there was a very faint scratch on the hardware and a tiny mark on the back of the bag! 👍👍

After that I really should not be spending for a few months at least.

I did save £15 by not buying a nail varnish specifically for the day - instead I shopped my recently much reduced varnish collection and found three different pinky nude colours that layered over each other results in the perfect colour I was looking for. So I’m quite happy about that.

Sooverthemill · 17/02/2020 19:21

Okay, any I'm had the Ingrid jeans? Any feedback?

Sooverthemill · 17/02/2020 19:24

Oh I seem to have ordered them and the Lenny ecru...

Sooverthemill · 19/02/2020 14:19

Lennie ecru ( frayed hem but I'm very short)
Ingrid skinny

Very happy for honest opinions. Not certain yet, usually need about 10 tries on to decide!

Sooverthemill · 19/02/2020 14:20

Damn the white jeans aren't the right ones ( Boden straight if anyone interested, unsure about this too!)

These should be the Lennie Hush ones

grannycake · 19/02/2020 16:03

I like the Lennie jeans Soover - they are on my wish list but experience tells me that if its warm enough for me to feel comfortable in white jeans then its probably warm enough for shorts Also I am incredibly messy so probably limited to a couple of hours before i mark them

Countmeout · 19/02/2020 16:32

I like the Hush white ones @Sooverthemill. They look good lengthwise. Not keen on the buttons on the Boden ones. I find it hard to get more than one wear out of white unless I change as soon as I come in. I love to have a pair for summer, I wouldn’t go out in shorts.
I think the blue ones are too long.

Sooverthemill · 19/02/2020 18:07

I like white jeans ( I'm a closet liz Hurley, clearly) and although I wouldn't wear in winter ( 2 dogs, 3 cats) happy to wear them in the spring. I do wear shorts but not hot pants ( showing my age)
Thanks for the feedback. The white ones are keepers, the button Boden are going back and I'm going to think about the Ingrid as they are super comfy.

dontcallmelen · 19/02/2020 18:48

Soover definitely the white ones from hush, like the Ingrid jeans as well, I’m also a bit of a closet Liz Hurley😀
Nink lovely bag👍🏼
Still nothing to report here 😇 firmly in place.

Sooverthemill · 20/02/2020 08:46

Well I've ordered the hush Holly which are cropped skinny to see.

Piggles39 · 20/02/2020 09:54

In case anyone else is thinking of ordering it, I’ve just received the pink zip through hoodie from Hush’s spring range only to find the ribbing at cuffs and waistband looks like it’s been chomped all the way round by a hungry rodent.

According to customer services this “distressed”look is intentional... I’ll be sending mine back!

Sooverthemill · 20/02/2020 15:38

Ah that's a shame. The photo in the website does look like it's a bit 'chewed' guess some people like it like that.

Sooverthemill · 22/02/2020 13:40

Cropped Holly were far too tight. So back they have gone!
I have kept the sweatshirt which I got on impulse. I thunk it will be lovely for spring. 10% discount ends tomorrow
