Oh that's strange cherries it's just come out the wash and looks really misshapen. It looks like it's shrunk on one side, Maybe it just needs teasing back in to shape.

ilovecherries · 11/12/2019 23:02

Hm. I do baby my hush knitwear. Everything is washed in a mesh bag on the handwash setting. I like their stuff, but I do find their knitwear is fragile. If you bought direct from hush, their customer service is pretty good.

noodlezoodle · 12/12/2019 14:05

Uh oh. I'm in England at the moment and happened to pass the Marylebone Toast shop yesterday, where I tried on Laska's beautiful Icelandic jumper. It's absolutely GORGEOUS and now I desparately want to buy it but I'm hanging on in case it goes in the sale Grin. I'm a bit worried because they only have one size left on the website and although it's the size I want, it suggests they are running out of stock...

Sooverthemill · 13/12/2019 14:36

I think they have 20% off at the moment MERRY20

Ellapaella · 13/12/2019 18:40

20% off Toast?

Softpebbles · 13/12/2019 20:30

@twosoups1972 jack wills has a pink chunky shorter cardigan.

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2019 20:56

Ella if only .. Its 20% off Hush.I have ordered the lovely embroidered skirt that gin has ..( or could be not?), also the animal print Emanuelle dress, but i tried it in JL in another print and i think even the largest size wont fit my swimmers shoulders and norks! Hush sizing is so odd.. I have lots of their stuff in S or even XS!

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2019 21:10

noodle the Icelandic jumper is so gorgeous..I dont think it will make the sale, (oos in JL and only M left in Toast this evening in the black ) so I reckon you should do go for it if you can .. Think of it as an heirloom piece..
Its relatively lightweight (although chunky wool ) for a winter jumper (as alpaca) but really toasty.. It shed a bit initially but now I've worn it twice (got it Monday ) it seems to have already calmed down from its initial shredding of fibers.. Also cost per wear has already reduced ( although mine was a birthday present so i dont really need to think about that luckily ) I wore it for about 18hrs straight yesterday as working in a poll station) got loads of compliments on it ..and I reckon ill be wearing it for many years yet!

Ellapaella · 13/12/2019 21:16

Ah I'm so envious of your Toast jumper laska. The Emmanuelle dress is lovely so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's a good fit 🤞

@Ellapaella sorry wasn't paying attention

Sooverthemill · 13/12/2019 21:39

@Ellapaella there is a pre winter sale here but not much stuff yet

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2019 21:40

Actually I think its twosoups who has that skirt?. Anyway, I think it may be in the sale, but if it is, I will be well in the time period to return and buy cheaper..

Ellapaella · 14/12/2019 08:06

Morning Hushistas. I'm up early today, we are taking the kids to the Christmas fair and to the bookshop in town as they both got book tokens for their birthdays.

I will be avoiding all clothes shops....
Wearing this new M&S skirt out tonight for dinner and drinks. With these boots, a board or jumper and my new AS biker.
Happy Saturday everyone.

Wrong thread! I've reported myself

noodlezoodle · 14/12/2019 09:18

Laska I may have to go for it, I agree it doesn't look like the Icelandic jumper is going in the sale. It's my birthday in January, perhaps it can be my present to myself Grin

Sooverthemill · 14/12/2019 09:40

@noodle it's a beautiful jumper and one which I think you would wear for years. If you can afford it full price ( a birthday present to yourself) then buy it.

twosoups1972 · 14/12/2019 11:47

@Laska2Meryls yes it’s me! It’s a lovely skirt, hope you like it.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/12/2019 18:18

ha ha ha...I was trying to work that one out!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/12/2019 18:21

Have a lovely night @Ellapaella
As for me, its a night in after I drop my dd's friend off. Had taken my dd's books to the library, nipped to asda to pick up a couple of dresses for my children's Christmas party this week, then passed into my mums where I picked up the gorgeous toast jumper that I ordered and oh my, its beautiful. It is the easy wool sweater in oatmeal.

Sooverthemill · 16/12/2019 07:49

We are a quiet bunch at the moment! Is everyone waiting for the sales? I got some stuff on Friday from whistles which I'm pleased with and I am going to try to have a no spend period now unless a jumper I've been eying gets hugely discounted in the sale

Ellapaella · 16/12/2019 10:15

I've ordered these https://www.hush-uk.com/footwear-2/footwear/trainers/sky-hi-top-trainers-silver.htm with the 20% discount. Not that I need any new trainers at all - if I don't love them they'll go back.

Sooverthemill · 16/12/2019 10:51

@Ellapaella they are fab

Laska2Meryls · 17/12/2019 09:45

Definitely waiting for the sale, but I did order the embroidered skirt with the 20% offer.
Love it !
