I might have missed it upthread but liked the Queen's turquoise get-up today

I'm sure royal tours aren't the easiest part of the job I hate travel and I'm sure that it is tiring for all that still do it. However they are in the privileged position that they can do it in more comfort and luxury than the rest of us and schedules are made in discussion with the palace and the host country so I'm sure allowances can be made for some down time. For example Kate and William had some off time when they went to Australia with George and obviously Meghan and Archie had a different schedule to Harry in Africa. I'm sure if needed Camilla and Charles will have different schedules this trip, someone with a better memory than me may even be able to give examples of when they have in the past. So yes I can recognise it's one of the harder parts of the job but I don't think it's really that it's worth of praise either.

When did HM last do an overseas tour? I know she delegates them to her children these days but I can't remember the last trip she made herself.

The queen's last trip was to Malta wasn't it? A short one if I remember right. There was lots I. The press about the significance of Malta to the couple in 2015 or 2016 maybe I'm not sure when her last full tour was or when.

Well if Wikipedia is correct then her last big tour was Australia in 2011 so 85

The Queen was on her own going to Church today in Windsor.
Thank goodness she had the sense not to have PA in the car.

Camilla could do with straightening her hair too if we’re being hyper critical!

I can overlook wind blown hair,especially if it involves not fiddling with it .Jacket crumpled and not sitting properly ,less so .

I think Camilla looks the same as always there, it's just that her hair is a bit windblown.

Emily's jacket bothered me the entire time! I didn't mind the partial buttoning, but the way it sat was just weird.

Of course, the interview was so jaw droppingly bizarre it didn't compete for my attention overall!

I haven't watched the interview yet but re EM's makeup, I always feel she's a smoker and somehow it shows?
