lunde that's interesting about Charlene in Japan, why go all that way and not do the official events I wonder.

That video is very sweet! Unlike Fergie's IG post.....get a grip, woman!

peridito · 16/11/2019 09:17

I'm with you Bohemia what can we say about the colourful outfit on the left in the image posted by

Or here's an idea - what about Kate vs Meghan in A Right Royal Bake-off???

Yes but extend it- there could be six of them?

Kate
Meghan
Charles
Sophie
Eugenie
Mike Tindall

Horsemad · 16/11/2019 09:24

They could have done something like that for CIN - would have been good fun!

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/11/2019 09:27

I bet Mike would be hilarious and win the public vote! What would their signature bakes be?

There is a thread on a Prince Andrew to save filling up this one discussing him

Very excited about a Kate / Mary Berry cooking show.
Maybe they talked about it when they met at one of the garden shows this summer. ( I forget which)

The Royal Bake off sounds like fun. But I wonder if many of the «blood Royals» can actually cook.

Been giving too much head space to a Kate’s magenta suit. I think she bought a petite version to fit her narrow frame, but the proportions mean the sleeves, bodice ( hence waist) and skirt are are too short for her limbs and torso.

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/11/2019 09:32

Good idea re Andrew @CurlyWurlyTwirly

Ok, royal signature bakes:

Charles - Battenberg cake, naturally!
Sophie - a Victoria sponge with a slight twist, like G&T-spiked cream
Eugenie - vanilla cupcakes with strawberry frosting
Mike Tindall - something like carrot cake where you just bung all the ingredients together and mix and it turns out great

What about Kate and Meghan?

OP posts:
bohemia14 · 16/11/2019 09:44

Kate - perfect pastel coloured fondant fancies
Meghan - an absolutely delicious Vegan chocolate traybake

MotherofPearl · 16/11/2019 09:47

For Camilla, a very boozy fruitcake.

@peridito - I was so fixated on Sophia’s velvet jacket I missed that pattern-on-pattern, colour-on-colour abomination outfit!

BertrandRussell · 16/11/2019 09:53

I can imagine Meghan doing incredibly precise and intricate decoration. Didn’t she earn money doing calligraphy at one stage?

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/11/2019 09:54

Oh yes @MotherofPearl, bet you'd be two sheets to the wind after one slice of Camilla's Christmas cake!

WineOrGinOrBoth · 16/11/2019 09:57

I could do with a very boozy fruit cake myself right now Grin

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/11/2019 11:30

some actual beauty info from Kate
Kiehl’s crème for that swishy hair and clarins lip balm

thisenglishlife · 16/11/2019 12:12

I've always liked Fergie as, despite her faults, she comes across as a warm and kind-hearted woman. But I think she's gone too far here - she sounds deranged and desperate. And Andrew's denial sounds a load of BS. (I also couldn't help noticing that looks-wise, he's rapidly morphing into Peter Hitchensconfused) Agree with you @QueenOfTheAndals

I think Sarah can be lovely, but she really does lack common sense at times!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 16/11/2019 12:13

Take a look at the post above that one on Twitter, perhaps Kate is also responsible for Meghan's perfect complexion!Grin

MotherofPearl · 16/11/2019 12:20

I have that Clarins lip balm - I'm practically royalty Grin

BertrandRussell · 16/11/2019 12:28

Is the lip balm good? Looking for stocking things.......

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 16/11/2019 12:31

SF seems a genuinely sweet woman, but she probably fared better outside the rf than she would have done in it. She had a foul time with the media when she was married to PA as it was. If she had taken to social media in this way as a royal she would have been eviscerated.

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/11/2019 12:35

How do people know Kate uses these things? With Meghan you can always look at an archived version of The Tig but imagine paying such close attention that you spot which lippy Kate's applying!

Wasn't it at Wimbledon that Kate was spotted using the Clarins product?

frugalkitty · 16/11/2019 12:42

The lip balm was in her hand at Wimbledon. I've had a couple of those for a while now, from DH wandering round duty free. He's very good at buying me make up Grin or at least he was, before the exchange rates went squiffy.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/11/2019 12:47

Yep photo in the link

Anyone ever find out what Meghan’s lipstick is?
(Still on eternal quest for perfect pinky nude)

DevonUkelele · 16/11/2019 12:49

I must admit I prefer it when we stick to fashion on this thread.

Oh, gosh ... I love the gossip and chitchat. Surely I'm not alone, or we wouldn't have quite so many PPs sticking around through ... 15, 16,17... or is it more... threads?

Don't get me wrong, I came for the fashion (love the colour of Kate's latest re-wear, but disappointed to see her back in a flippy skirt; am unconvinced by the black opaques and chunky heels).

I stay for that. But I am very much here for the extra news alerts and all the little (or maybe big) asides others have to add.

ElspethFlashman · 16/11/2019 12:50

Yeah she was reapplying at Wimbledon.

I've been using it about 10 years, ooooh get me I'm all fancy.

Can confirm it's absolutely fab and worth the spend (I still used to only get it in Duty Free as it'll last a full year easy till your next holiday). It smells like cake and is 100% slippery, not sticky.

The one Kate uses, 01, is v milky pale pink. I started to think it blanked me out as I'm very very fair. So I use the other shades that give more colour. But since she's brunette I guess it looks like a Nude lip on her.
