Haven’t posted for a while, there’s been a few things going on in work and at home and I’ve been lying low.

@bridgetreilly I love that pinafore and the whole outfit in general.

Thanks everyone who has been posting and adding photos. I need to haul myself up again and make a bit of an effort.

I am on the Facebook group but the only difference really is that we can see our real names and more people post pics with their faces in. Some people have posted their mumsnet names and some haven’t. There’s room for both places, I think!

I will also be wearing an apron later. I am a messy cook.

I am just at home now, doing a clear out, (allegedly, while actually mumsnetting ).

This afternoon I am trying to keep warm and psych myself up to do the ironing and make tea. I can’t be bothered to go upstairs to a mirror. Snag navy tights size F, Sainsburys soft comfy (embarrassing red skirt size 20), ancient jumper from I can’t remember where and Whitestuff skirt from last year or the year before.

I really like your skirt longlegs! It goes beautifully with the navy tights.

I did a big clear out in my bedroom. Holy mother of God, the rubbish we have up there! I've filled several huge bin bags. It never ends in our house. I seem to be forever clearing out rooms and wardrobes etc.

Not going to lie, kinda loved my outfit for cinema outing to see Frozen 2 today. I recently invested heavily in estee lauder make up and i felt so much more polished than normal. I attribute this mostly to the attitude to this group, we rock!

Glad to see your DD hasn't put you off your 'embarrassing' red skirt Daddylonglegs. It's a beautiful colour. Can I just ask what shoes/boots you wear with those navy tights? I'm never sure what to do with navy.

Make up can make such a difference can't it diesel. Hope the film was good! I want to take dd next weekend. We haven't had time this weekend.

I have a pair of grey, suede boots from London Fly which I really like with navy tights summoning. But since they have a bit of height I don't wear them much. With the added height, I am a bit too tall to push ds's pushchair comfortably . So, I quite often go with brown.

😂 TheSummoningDark it makes we want to dress even more colourfully. I just wear a pair of ankle boots with...everything. These are my new favourite ones from Josef Siebel.

So glad I found this thread, I love it! I live in Asia so I mostly make my own stuff, bcs plus size here is a nightmare.
Does anyone else find formal wear hard?

Today's work outfit, shirt is river island mens, skirt is handmade, asos tights, and Timberland boots (not shown)!

Currently wearing: leggings, t-shirt, sports bra, running socks, sweatshirt, trainers. Because plus size women can be fit and healthy too!

After I have been to the gym, I shall put on proper clothes and try to remember to take a photo!

You look great in that mens shirt! I have never thought to do that. Looks really cool and feminine.

@Stoptheworldandmelt I quite like the idea of making my own clothes. At least you get to wear unique pieces that fit you perfectly. I don't really do formal wear any more. On the rare occasion I need it, I'd rather buy a vintage style day dress and hope I look presentable, so I get to wear it afterwards.

While I'm impressed by all the exercise talk, I will be pleased if I just get through today without using sugar to keep me awake. Tried to go back to bed, but there's building work going on somewhere .

Changed out of my dog walking/cleaning the house clothes this afternoon for a coffee out with my mum and DS’s parents Eve tonight. Photo a bit dark sorry.
Opted for;
navy Snag tights size F
favourite White Stuff backwater jersey skirt size 20 (this season) blue denim effect colour.
Whitestuff top size 20 (this season) its multicoloured with a French navy/heather background colour.
Very old one button necklace
Will wear tan lace up boots with it when I go out later.
