Am I the only one who hates Converse trainers?

I've owned 4 pairs now in different styles/material and all of them have given me horrific blisters and/or crushed my toes after an hour of wearing them.
I don't think I have particularly wide feet but when it comes to Converse it seems I do!

Am I the only one!? I loathe them.

I need a pair of casual trainers that I can wear with dresses, jeans etc that will stand the test of time- what are the alternatives?

I love the look of them but can’t wear them. I’m not a fan of Superga either - they are so heavy. And dare I say it, Stan Smiths are ugly too especially in black.
