Interested to see what brands people will say. Also need some inspiration as my wardrobe is 90% Fat Face (which I love but want to see if there are any similar).

Ohhhh I’m jealous. I have Stylebook but ran out of steam photographing everything. I decided to clear out my wardrobe first so it’s a work in progress. One day I’ll be able to post a cool chart too! Smile

trulyconfuseddotcom · 17/10/2019 13:29

Kin (John Lewis) for tops and Gap for trousers. Cashmere off eBay and charity shops when I have time to rummage! Some Zara too but the quality not great these days.

SorrelForbes · 17/10/2019 13:33

Reiss, with the occasional item from brands such as Sezanne, Zara, Cefinn.

Sagradafamiliar · 17/10/2019 13:45

Mads Norgaard
Scotch and Soda
Petit bateau
St James
Levi's
La petite française
Armor lux
All saints
J crew
Esprit
H&M
And I'm a sucker for a bit of M&S

Daffodil2018 · 17/10/2019 15:00

Jigsaw, Whistles and Reiss. J Brand for jeans, All Saints for plain T shirts.

I spend a lot per item but I only buy about 3 or 4 things per year.

ritzbiscuits · 17/10/2019 15:06

H&M - Casual wear, t shirts, jumpers, work shirts
Gap - For jeans and sometimes work shirts
Oasis - Weekend tops/floral shirts
Clarks - Boots
Adidas - Trainers

90% Hollister Hmm

AliceLittle · 17/10/2019 15:39

Technically the most common brand in my wardrobe is Primark but that's only because I have multiples of leggings, socks and tights from there. But the rest of my wardrobe is from all over the place. I have 1 item from FatFace, 1 from Woolovers, 1 from Roxy, 1 from D&G, 1 from M&S, 1 from Trespass, 1 from George, 1 from Blue Harbour, 1 from Matalan, 1 from Topshop. Nearly all of these are exclusively from the charity shop, flea markets, vintage sales and ebay.

Puffthemagicdragongoestobed · 17/10/2019 16:01

Ever since read about it on Mumsnet I have been hooked on Hush. Have lots of dresses and tops from there.
Lots of basics from M&S and Gap
Quite a concoction from TKMaxx
Some Next, H&M, Mango
Banana Republic but unfortunately they closed their stores in the UK a few years ago

happytobemrsg · 17/10/2019 16:15

@Divebar I love it! Tbf I have a semi capsule wardrobe (8 dresses, 6 jumpers, 5 jeans/treggings, 3 boots, 2 trainers & 3 coats/jackets) & I was able to get all photos online so I didn’t need to take photos myself - so much easier! I love checking out the cost per wear section especially- it’s the only I justify my expensive bits to myself Grin

Esprit,H&M, Primark.

HairyToity · 17/10/2019 19:27

Possibly supermarkets get the most number of items. Usually pick up my jeans from the supermarket. I quite like Hobbs for work clothes. Tend to go in the sale about twice a year, and pick up a few things for work.

Jigsaw.
Monsoon.
Brand Alley for brands I like.

oobedobe · 17/10/2019 20:44

LOFT (US shop), it is getting a bit silly now, when I go into my wardrobe and the labels are all the same.

It is a lesser known brand (compared to H&M/Zara etc) so you never really see anyone else wearing the same stuff. It has some nice quirky patterns and unusual tops. Great variety though, I don't thing you can tell my stuff comes from the same store.

I also like J Crew Factory, Gap/Banana Republic Factory/American Eagle for Jeans. A few pieces from Hush which I got online.

Minnie747 · 17/10/2019 20:56

Mango, Zara, H&M, Hobbs
