Interested to see what brands people will say. Also need some inspiration as my wardrobe is 90% Fat Face (which I love but want to see if there are any similar).

I'm 5'3 and find it really hard to get clothes to fit. I buy tops & knitwear from White Stuff, Fat Face and Lily & Me (v similar to WS) but not trousers as none of them have a petite range. Usually get my trousers and jeans from Next petite.

Have a few lovely things from Mint Velvet and Hush but only ever buy in the sales!

cindersrella · 16/10/2019 22:47

I am an M&S and Ted Baker girl (well lady)

A size 14 marks and 4 Ted is perfect. They are the only shops I can buy from without trying on and I know the will fit!

FurrySlipperBoots · 16/10/2019 22:53

Mistral for all my tops. Fatface for all my socks (they are brilliant for socks, Fatface, I love the cute designs!) occasionally White Stuff but not been impressed with them the last few years. Very occasionally Seasalt. Gap for jeans.

Ginger1982 · 16/10/2019 22:55

Next, New Look, M&S and Tesco! A real mixed bag!!

NaturalBornWoman · 16/10/2019 23:08

I buy from Jigsaw, Hush, Boden, White Company, Whistles, The Fold, sometimes Pure for cashmere, I've had a couple of nice jackets from Mint Velvet, M&S for pants and nightwear and sometimes tights but they've gone off the last couple of years.

Zinnia · 16/10/2019 23:09

I have almost double the number of Cos items in my wardrobe than the next nearest brand (Uniqlo), it seems. An embarrassingly high number I am not willing to reveal even semi-anonymously Grin/Blush

hammeringinmyhead · 16/10/2019 23:14

Denim is ASOS, Gap or supermarket. Tops Uniqlo. Jumpers Celtic and Co, TK Maxx. Boots are Duo and Dr Martens, trainers all over (lots of Converse), jackets All Saints, Burberry, Brakeburn and Joules. Handbags are usually Fossil but I have a couple of Mulberry, Cambridge Satchel Co and 2 Longchamp bags.

AuntieStella · 16/10/2019 23:16

Wiggle

user1493242132 · 16/10/2019 23:17

Zara and Cos for day to day with a few massimo dutti thrown into the mix. Going out, almost always DVF

OhTheRoses · 16/10/2019 23:21

M&S
Boden
White Stuff
With a smattering of Kin, Jigsaw, Hobbs, Laura Ashley, Cos and a cpl of independent shops.

TigerJoy · 16/10/2019 23:21

I've had some great dresses and jackets from Wallis. Not expensive and good quality fabrics

Bobthefishermanswife · 16/10/2019 23:25

It's mainly - New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Sainsburys, Tesco, River Island and Matalan.

I've got a few bits from Fat Face, H&M, Oasis, Warehouse, Topshop and Monsoon in there too.

Yubaba · 16/10/2019 23:29

I wear a mix of Boden, H&M, Primark, Next and Seasalt.

ChanChanChan · 16/10/2019 23:33

Zara, Cos, Uniqlo and Whistles.

MaudesMum · 17/10/2019 06:58

Uniqlo, Cos, Fatface, Seasalt, Toast (sale).

SeaOtterFluff · 17/10/2019 07:01

Fat Face, White Stuff and Sainsbury's with a good mix of charity shop clothing.

RuggyPeg · 17/10/2019 08:04

River island for me recently. I go in almost every other shop and can find nothing but RI keeps coming up trumps (with a bit of H&M and Sainsbos). Oh and a couple of local boutiques with random forrin stuff too.

il0vew1ne · 17/10/2019 08:22

Boden,
& other stories,
M & S,
and Uniglo

Goawayquickly · 17/10/2019 08:24

Sainsbury's mostly, but some Wallis and H&M.

hopeishere · 17/10/2019 08:29

Mostly Boden. I'm lazy and I know it will fit me!

Also a bit of Toast recently.
M&S
Mint Velvet but the quality is crap.

I'm 49 and a size 16.

Pinkarsedfly · 17/10/2019 08:35

Hush
Marks
Boden
Next (surprisingly good lately)
Random internet shops like Om and Ah, Lucy and Yak, etc.

Floisme · 17/10/2019 08:45

Mostly Cos and Uniqlo if I'm buying new. I keep an eye on H&M but haven't bought for ages. If it's second hand I look out for Margaret Howell, Toast and Joseph plus John Smedley for knitwear.
I'm actually in head to toe Whistles today but it was all bought before they went to shit.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 17/10/2019 09:18

Topshop
H&M
Mainly because they are the closest shops to work so I can nip out at lunchtime and try stuff on. However, Topshop is upsetting me by going a bit shit recently (although I bought jeans there on Tues as H&M jeans are dire).

I also like Oliver Bonas and & Other Stories, and some Asos stuff.

WineGummyBear · 17/10/2019 09:22

Zara, Jigsaw, Fat Face, Boden, Seasalt, Gap.

All sale.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 17/10/2019 09:23

In no particular order
Asda
Joules
Next
Superdry
Supermarket (we only have Asda living where I am which is why it’s separate)
Gap
Fat face
Joe Brown
Blue Banana (both of them)
John Lewis
Charity shops
eBay
M&S
Levi
