Hi guys,
I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

This is an old photo and I wouldn’t go skinny on the jeans now but this is the length I go for.... or slightly longer.

Question: wth are mom jeans and girlfriend jeans?

I also do not know the difference between Mom and GF jeans. Find it all a bit bewildering tbh.

As a thigh heavy woman, I just want jeans that don't make me look like I'm in jodhpurs!

I'm not at all sure that cutting my jeans shorter to reveal boot tops, random socks and hairy ankles it the way to go... personally, that is. I see it looks nice in the pictures...

Mom jeans are like the ones I posted. GF are the same, but have a slimmer leg. Almost a straight leg for gf jeans.

I also think the rise is higher on mom jeans.

I'm a size 18-20 today I am wearing loose fit jeans and a yellow jumper both from tkmaxx. I paired it with my boots from matalan. The jeans are super stretchy and high waisted.

A kind of 'dirty peach' colour t shirt from Primarni and some black very thinly ribbed black trousers from Amazon. Not stylish but they are clean!

I love high waisted jeans.... not for the look of them for the feel of them. I had a pair from
the Curve range at M&S which were great but I’ve put on weight and they’re not comfortable now. I definitely need to try some on and work out a good look for me now but it’s having the time to commit to it.

In other sad news my Snag tights order has been lost en route to my house - I think there must be a very happy postie walking around somewhere. I’m reordering.

What's really depressing, Nancy, is that apart from the high waist and lack of holes in the Mom jean, I still can't tell the difference !

The Pickle jean is high waisted, straight or slightly tapered from the knee, and stops just above the shoe. If only they sold it somewhere!

Dive, I've got a pair of those high waisted, straight legged curve jeans! They don't sell them anymore, sadly.

Here I am in Gap GF Jeans, Next (eBay) navy bf cardi, Hush blue tshirt and...socks . Planning to wear wellies today, as it is chucking it down here! Back home from holiday tomorrow, so will try and make the most of the countryside while we're here, but the weather is not playing ball...

I've actually just ordered a mustard colour skirt from Tu, along with a Christmas top, a teal tshirt and a black pinafore dress. I blame buckeejit .

I notice that when i wear skinny jeans or leggings i have to be careful with what shoes i pair with them. They need to have a good chunky heel to try and balance out my heavier top half, I'm apple shaped (i think) otherwise I end up looking like this!

. Lol. As do lots of people Diesel. I can’t work Marks and Spencer’s out. They have the least aspirational plus size range I’ve ever seen.... full of black trousers and leggings. Most of the jeans are skinny “ Gru cut. My previous encounters with their jeans have all been fails... it was only the Curve ones which ever fitted me well.

Hahaha Diesel. I feel like that all the time in my skinnies but I can’t make other jeans shapes work for me at all and I WILL NOT GIVE UP JEANS.

I try and stick to skinny jeans as I think baggy ones just make me look fatter, though I have a pair of M&S straight leg ones which currently cut me in half as I've put on weight. I also prefer dark indigo denim which I think is more slimming. My bum looks better in jeans than naked, so if I wear a thong or high cracked knicker then skinnies aren't too bad with a not-too-long top. I'd rather people looked at my arse than my midriff iykwim. Also ditto cleavage. Better to draw the eye to the massive cleavage than the multiple chins!

@NowWeSuckingDiesel I can only aspire to cocktail sticks!! The Gru comparison did make me laugh! My apple must be atop two cocktail sticks which are threaded with chunks of cheese, a la 70s dinner party style!

Here is my outfit today. Not very flattering, but warm. Long sleeved Breton top under a thin plum jumper with 3/4 sleeves, jeans (of course), brown ankle boots and a Falmer fair isle type cardi with furry hood. All ancient purchases. Today's glamour, inspired by you brave Red Lippy Lot, is a berry lippy (daring enough for me). Pleas ignore double belly I forgot to hold it in for the pic

I’m a 26 on top and apple shaped. Everything on my stomach, including the 2 c-sec apron😩. I have really skinny legs that I can get and 18/20 on but my stomach is says now. I’m close to 30 and still haven’t found my style.

Currently in leggings, longline t-shirt and trainers which just doesn’t do anything for me.

What about empire line, Steve? It's neat over and under the bust, but then flows out and down from there. A bit like a baby doll nighty.
