Hi guys,
I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

I feel like I want to dump my entire wardrobe and start again. If only someone would give me £1000 to do it.

It's a good thing she didn't have my wardrobe- 50 shades of navy doesn't have the same ring to it... . Fun fact; my dad is friends with Jamie Dornan's dad. They have known each other for decades! Sadly, I haven't met either of them though.

divebar, I know what you mean. I am forever tweaking my wardrobe. I do feel a bit better about getting rid of things and buying new if I buy secondhand! I still spend too much on clothes though and THIS THREAD ISN'T HELPING 😂!

No time for a pic yet today, but I am in a brown cord pinafore from New Look, navy leggings with a rainbow on each knee from Next, DM boots, a pale pink M&S slogan t-shirt and a longing navy cardi from Very. Same old necklace, pearl earrings and gold rim, round glasses. We are off to a friend's for coffee and then taking my older one to a class after school.

Ooh Nancy does your dad know him from his home town in n i? I know quite a few people from there!!! Your outfit sounds lovely today, mine is too boring to merit a photo today, think grey (surprise!!) jumper with black coat with grey (surprise no 2) fur trim and jeans.

Black 'leggings' from Next but they're denim & pretty much just skinny jeans but they're the only ones that don't pinch my waist so no muffin top.

Peach/nude coloured vest top tucked in (I buy long ones for this) & a white t-shirt over the top. Makes the t-shirt look nicely opaque (can never find white t-shirts that aren't see through!)

Man I’m tired today and I got thigh chafing yesterday from my crappy non Snag tights😭 ( come on Snag tights where are you?). So zero effort today. Long black pleated skirt from M&S which has been worn a gazillion times, black top from Cos, comfy leggings and Nike “something” trainers. They have a neon flash on the heel. Cos Mac which is not waterproof because why would it be? 😂.

Thanks for pinafore tips I had set my heart on a navy (I am also 50 shades of navy) or a teal one (with 50 shades of teal becoming a close second) lol. But I have three pinafores in my Debenhams basket 2 from DP tall and I can’t remember where the other one is from. I really need tall and podgy.
If those fail i have a pattern to make one or get one made.

M&co black treggings- they are wonderfully soft (almost moleskin velvet) and they never ever loose their colour. Clark's ankle boots, an asymmetrical soft knit pink baggy sweater and chunky necklace. My tan over shoulder bag. Every day is usually a variation of this.

I'm not winning any fashion awards today - in beloved old khaki jeans from Debenhams, an old gold linen knotted top from H&M which I love (current season)

@Daddylonglegs1965 have you tried doing something a little strange & just adding a line of contrasting fabric to the bottom of pinafore straps & moving the buttons down to effectively lengthen it? Just thinking of when mine was a toddler & had adjustable straps? Or even easier, finding a pinny with adjustable straps?

Anyone who's been clued into the snag tights for a longer time, can I trust them not to chafe if I wore them all day? Pre planning a london trip in a few weeks & would like to wear a dress all day but don't know if it's too risky. Chin rub would be a royal pita

daddylonglegs what size do you need? Sea salt have this one up to a size 20. Apologies if this ones already been discounted. I saw a lady yesterday who must have been 6’2”. She had a black velvet trouser suit on, her hair piled on her head and a ton of pearls. I was slightly mesmerised by her tbh. She looked amazing.

I have never had any problems with Snag chaffing. They do have chin rib shorts (which I haven’t tried). I have some other ones but it only really bothers me with bare legs in hot climates. This is the pinafore I am thinking of making or getting made (In navy or teal cord or blue denim) if nothing else works.

YY, I am navy and teal, with a bit of aqua! Occasionally I'll veer into pink, beige and brown, but I never feel 100% comfortable doing it!

diesel, yes! They know each other from Belfast . I'm unlikely to meet them now as I don't live there anymore . Oh well. Jamie Dornan will have to make do without me in his life .

I have the Snag chub rub shorts and can recommend them ( just in case someone’s escaping this shitty weather for a while)

That Seasalt pinafore is nice but probably too fitted a style for me. I would be a 20 or 22. I have just been into Sainsburys they have some fab pinafores but they are all too short on me. Also had a nice teal long sleeved tshirt top for layering in cold weather for £6 odd.

Day off work today. So blue denim shirt dress by Kin for John Lewis, black opaque tights and burgundy ankle boots from Hobbes. I'm went out for lunch so wore it with a blue leopard print scarf and pink raincoat.

I really love that dark denim - it’s like Japanese selvedge.

I've lost enough weight to fit into my black corduroy dungaree dress from Next, pink tshirt and bright pink tights. I have a thing about corduroy. If I was going out I'd wear my sparkly Irregular Choice boots that are sparkly and have pink ribbon laces.

Bouledeneige - what height and dress size are you please & is the dress your usual size or did you size up or down please? Love your dress it looks very versatile and just the type of thing for me. But I am 6ft and size 20-22 just wondering about length and fit. Thanks

I actually live here & love here after being in Manchester for years. Nowhere like the North Coast-I jump on threads here constantly to recommend everyone to come here (& then get mildly annoyed with all the tourists

Hi Daddylong legs. You have got long legs! I am 5' 6 and a size 16/18.
The dress comes up huge (all the Kin stuff does). So its actually a Small.

Its my kind of dress which I would have worn when I was younger and slimmer and its my favourite thing to wear right now. I love dark denim too.

Ah diesel, small world indeed! If you're where I think you are, then my favourite hotel ever is there! Love it and the forests are phenomenal looking. Couldn't believe the last time I was there that tourists were running around dressed like the Knights Watchmen 😂. Such a change from when I was wee.
