I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

@divebarthose boots are amazing in fact your whole outfit is great. @Fredafrogspawn thanks for that Lagenlook link and i agree that clothes are a lot more flattering on the more voluptuous body..... i actually have been buying quite a few of these tops from a local boutique at 40 quid each and they are online at 25!! Gah! And the shop owner is always posting about her buying trips to Italy.......

I feel a bit like the scruff of the group, as a sahm of 5 (and 2 dogs!) I'm always super casual whilst you ladies are always super glamorous but this is giving me lots of inspiration so it's all good! And I'll just have to go out out with the husband to get glammed up

Anyway today's casual offering is, brown poncho, next outlet., jeggings from asda and stan Smith trainers.

Oh and the leopard print handbag is from the aforementioned "exclusive italian wear boutique"

Lots of lovely outfits shared! I’m 5’7 and size 28 just now 🙄. Right now I’m wearing Simply Be straight leg jeans and a black t shirt and trainers. The T-shirt will be swapped for a very forgiving grey crossover top I got from Navabi

Ha ha ha. Yeah buying trips to Italy my arse. I don’t think you should worry too much about comparisons to anyone else Diesel we all have different lives. I work in London so that’s quite an incentive to dress up a bit. If I was a SAHM to 5 ( 😯) I doubt I’d be capable of getting dressed. When I work from home I’m a slob.

I did just pin a picture of a fake fur bag and wondered if I could knock one up myself. I’m wondering if my sewing machine would handle fake fur... I’m not a very experienced seamstress.

I've gone for 100% genuine pleather (monsoon, current) in the skirt department today. Not quite sure about it but it doesn't look too plasticky and I've had a couple of compliments already so can't be all bad. Does it look ok? It's not something I'd usually go for, but I'm getting braver inspired by you lovely lot 😊

Yes! yes! to the “ vegan leather”. . I nearly wore mine to work this week but it seems to have shrunk a little bit since last autumn .

I was thinking of trying to incorporate some of my less worn items into my day to day wardrobe ..... like my pleather skirt. These would be my “ wildcards” I guess. I’ve got some silver boots I might try at work in December. I’m going to think what else I might have.

You all look fab, and it’s great to see plus size ideas. I’m at the airport going to Berlin and have cropped skinny jeans, a pink patterned tunic new season from next and a black thin cotton cardigan on along with lands end bungee ballerinas.

Wow, you all look so great! Really can you please stop as I want to buy lots of things - love that pleather skirt. @Divebar - those jeans are fab on you. I've ordered the black girlfriend jeans from Sainsbury's & recently bought some fishnet knee highs that I'm considering braving under jeans/trousers.

I bought some lovely Chelsea DMs last year (attached - excuse my stinking car), but they aren't so good with skirts as a bit tight at top, not uncomfortable but doesn't look so good. I
Might treat myself to some more on a soon trip to that London. I'm a bit annoyed that they're trendy again as there are no bargains to be had!

Lagenlook - please can someone show some pics when they wear it as I can't imagine it looking good on me. They always have it at in stalls at Skipton market where in laws live so may purchase sometime.

I fancy a pleather skirt!

I was thinking about a knitted tube skirt, that always worked well with my tunic tops. Can anyone point me to one? Preferably one that won't go baggy at the knee and bum on the first wear!

@calilark M&S had a good one and it comes up big I would say. Under jersey skirt on the website, plain or pattern and different lengths

This thread is doing me no good at all! I've just spend a bomb on the Tu website. Hopefully I'll have a neat skirt to go under my flamboyant tops and loud snag tights!

Anyone know where I can get a nice flattering pinafore in a size 22 that isn’t an obscene length on me at 6ft.

I wish I had the 6ft problem. If I was 6ft, I'd look slim. Though fairly silly in all my current trousers, to be fair.
