Plus size what are you wearing today

Hi guys,
I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

Wore this navy fitted blazer (new from M&S) with a white T shirt, long silver necklace, faded jeans and silver Superga's. Felt good to be in something fitted.

think t k Maxx have some lovely plus size coats at the moment online. Was looking last night.

Or something like this from new look?

@WombleishofThigh, what do you already have? Any scarves? Any shirts? Often other people put things together differently, and it feels like a new outfit!

I've not bought a coat in ages- DM buys far too much, changes size a lot, and passes what she doesn't want on to me. I must have about ten coats.

Not sure about the fake fur one.... what do you think of this one?

T-shirt- borrowed from sister
Thermal vest and longjohns - a gift from my dad when I moved to Scotland years ago (no longer in Scotland sadly)! Cold again today
Jeans- topshop (eBay)
High tops - Pozu

Love the outfit username and cheesecake, that outfit sounds lovely too.

I also can never decide about faux fur jackets. I love them on other people, but I don't think I can pull them off...

I like the parka you just posted though. Reckon that would go with everything weekendy.

The SNAG tights are an absolute revelation sound expensive but worth every penny. I love them and binned all my old tights and only wear SNAG opaque tights now so comfortable and stay in place. I still have every pair intact from last autumn winter. I am 6ft 20-22 loosing weight slowly.
Today at the moment I am rocking a Cyberjammies purple Sophie Dressing gown (gorgeously soft).
When I get dressed I will be wearing some unstylish but comfortable jersey navy trousers from Long Tall Sally with a jersey patterned navy and teal shirt from Monsoon and any warm jacket, hoodie or cardigan as planning an autumn walk with dogs and teens then an afternoon on the sofa watching tv or reading as off work today.

Going for a Warehouse dress and New Look long wool coat today. Feeling very snuggly.

Yep justchecking I love that although I’m not very good with print myself. I’ve ordered 2 pairs of Snag tights to try them so we’ll see.

I’ve started to sell items on Depop ( that are too small for me 😩) and to look at it you would think I was the most colourful person on earth but most of what I wear is black, navy and grey. I really want to change that and embrace colour and print a bit more

School run done, today's outfit is black top and leggings with Burgundy jacket and burgundy patent boots. And inspired by you all, I added a bright lipstick which was out of my comfort zone but i really liked it!

Hurray for the new lipstick diesel! It's great when you try something new and it just works. This thread is great for inspiring me to do that.

I know what you mean re prints divebar. They're another thing I love on others but am never sure j can pull off. I'm especially wary of florals, as I think I look a bit like a sofa or old before my time. My sister (who I am very close to) once said I looked like Hyacinth Bucket when I wore a bright floral print and she wasn't wrong 😂.

That autumnal one of justchecking's looks great though, so I may be tempted to try again...

I've recently bought a couple of print dresses from eBay. One is from Run & Fly and has a space print, (which will go well with my nerdy Star Wars Pozu high tops 🤓)! The other is Duns of Sweden and it has radishes all over it. Haven't worn either yet and DH was very at the radish one. But what does he know ? I think they'll look amazing with my new snag tights so nerr. Just need it to warm up a bit or for me to have a day when I know I'll be more indoors than out. Then, I shall strike mwahaha! DH won't know what's hit him .

I think the trick to florals is to edge it up a bit with chunky jewellery, biker boots, leather jacket, etc. Makes it feel less sofa-ish which is great because a lot of the floral dresses out there are really flattering

Just a big old jumper and some blue jeans today. I think I need to invest in a full length mirror- we don’t have one here!

You're all looking great! I have no idea what suits me and live in leggings and tunics, all black and grey. Very boring. I've one grey coat for everyday wear and one navy that I never wear. I did wear a wine dress yesterday, with a long grey cardigan, didn't get a photo though. As it's the only dress I possess I'll get a photo next time I wear it! I've one pair of ankle boots, probably more like shoe boots actually, and one pair of ballet flats and a pair of converse. I need to shop, but my budget is eBay!

@Usernameismyname01 it's really hard to find linen type trousers for winter. I'm a pear & find boden richmonds a great shape.

Here I am today in a dress. An above the knee dress no less. I've not worn such a thing for about 25 years, although it doesn't feel like that long since I was at school! I felt like a harlot all morning but 2 friends said it looked good & I believed them!

I was trying on this coat earlier in Asda, it's at least a size too small but today was the last day of 25% off so I ended up buying it as I love the colour.

I bought another dress & a big puffy coat that I may not keep & May post later. Currently in library waiting for ds.

Does anyone know where I can buy a comfy black slip to wear under see through dresses?

I would find it really useful if posters posted their ‘height’ and current ‘dress size’ and whether or not an item is a ‘recent/current season. purchase‘ or ‘something they have had for awhile’ alongside all the fab photos to help give me an indication of whether or not something is likely to fit me and whether or not to bother searching an item. As at 6ft and a 20-22 the struggle to find nice clothing is real.
