Adorable! Great to see them out and relaxed.

queenofarles · 05/10/2019 19:04

Sophie Carter? She looks different here, like her jacket , looks Belstaff

ElspethFlashman · 05/10/2019 20:14

There's another blonde woman in the party too. The one beside Charlotte. Tbh she looks identical to the blonde woman in front. I really can't tell these blonde posh girls apart, tbh.

FiveTwoFaster · 05/10/2019 20:16

I wonder if Beatrice is much thinner in real life and so actually the higher neckline looks great when you’re standing in front of her but in photos she looks matronly. I can’t see why otherwise - even shopping with girlfriends they WOULD have said “try a v neck instead” - so I think she must look good in reality. I photograph badly (I hope I do anyway, not prepared to accept I look like that IRL) so perhaps it’s the same.

Ninkaninus · 05/10/2019 20:28

Yes, certain body types don’t translate that well to photographs, especially if one is quite busty.

paradyning · 05/10/2019 20:39

Leti in flats!

Beatrice is very pretty but she doesn't know how to dress for her body type. She picks big dresses that do nothing for her.

Look at the difference here. It's definitely the clothes as she looks very slim in the right outfit.

RoseQuartzGlow · 05/10/2019 21:22

She looks quite a bit slimmer in the second picture. I don't think it's just the dress, I think she had lost weight in the second picture.

BlingLoving · 05/10/2019 21:35

Beatrice, like her mother, seems to have significant weight fluctuations. I think she struggles. Makes me like her more as j am same!

Clankboing · 05/10/2019 21:35

I do think that some of the clothes that Beatrice has worn in the past have been 'the Monsoon effect' clothes. A few years ago I was looking for a dress for a wedding and tried on some in Monsoon (- not many shops in our local town!!) The material was thick, stiff and bulky and I looked huge. At the time I was probably size 8 at the most but it really made me look sturdy. I didn't bother going in again as most of them drowned me.

justasking111 · 05/10/2019 21:46

I recall a teenage picture of Beatrice in a bikini she has a very curvy body not a models one so as people say you do need to dress for your shape.

Those stiff fabrics are awful. Kate wore a blue outfit the other week it looked like seventies crimplene that wash no iron stuff.

DevonUkelele · 05/10/2019 23:18

That cerise/raspberry shade is amazing on Bea. Anyone know where that dress is from? I rather like it ...

cathyno5 · 05/10/2019 23:30

I saw Eugenie's wedding dress and Beatrice's bridesmaid dress on dispLay at Windsor. They are both slim but Beatrice is tiny (or was last year). Very petite and slender.

RainbowsAndGlitterAndUnicorns · 05/10/2019 23:47

The aquamarine that belonged to Diana is stunning.

TipseyTorvey · 06/10/2019 07:52

Oh dear, have just seen the cover of the Daily Fail in the bbc app. They're doubling down on Meghan with an interview with Thomas Markle on why he shared the letter. They must feel pretty certain they're not going to lose the case to do that.

Spudlet · 06/10/2019 08:13

The Guardian has a piece with various pundits sucking their teeth about Harry’s legal action and how it could backfire. Naturally Ingrid Seward (Majesty Magazine) blames Meghan’s nasty American influence for all of it... she also bemoans the fact that Diana used to invite reporters around the make them ‘putty in her hands’, but that Harry doesn’t do that. Yeah, how well did that one work out for Diana in the end, Ingrid? Hmm

www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/oct/05/prince-harry-legal-action-alleged-phone-hacking

BlingLoving · 06/10/2019 08:31

@Spudlet yup, and they had some previous private secretary of Diana's with a largely incomprehensible piece but sort of the same.

The phone hacking thing confuses me because it's been done before but I am reserving judgement. Meghan decision to sue re the letter and Harry's statement re bullying etc I am behind 100%. Never explain, never complain only works when the articles are the day to day general garbage. It's entirely different when they are actively trying to portray h3er negatively.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 06/10/2019 08:47

That berry dress is lovely on Beatrice.
It has the look of a Roland Mouret; which I think works well on a curvy figure.
Other news,
Apparently Beatrice is inviting Dara, Edoardo’s ex To the wedding and Wolfie is going to be best man. I think that’s great. Despite all their faults; Beatrice’s parents have shown that you can be civilised exes and good co-parents.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 06/10/2019 08:50

Yes the dress was Roland Mouret from 2011

DevonUkelele · 06/10/2019 09:09

Thank you @Curly. Once again Roland mouret 😍🙄 - I do do love it, but it's beyond me in $$ (or ££).

beanaseireann · 06/10/2019 09:58

Ingrid Seward and Penny Junor Sad
Both anti Diana - particularly Penny Junor.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 06/10/2019 10:14

@DevonUkelele

Try M&S
I was in the High st Ken branch last year, and they had some M&S dresses which Meghan had worn just before. They were really good quality thick fabric, which would hold you in the way I think a Mouret would.

QueenOfTheAndals · 06/10/2019 10:15

This part of the article stood out for me:

"A source with knowledge of the case said it was part of the round of phone-hacking claims being put together by solicitors for this autumn."

So it looks like it was always on the cards but has just come to light now, and Harry is just one of the claimants.

And according to this other Guardian article the claims are that the tabloids intercepted Diana's voicemail.
