Diana's aquamarine ring is gorgeous. I know Meghan wore it on her wedding day but I've not seen it on her since.

No, she seems to favour smaller pieces. All her other jewellery is very delicate. I love the aquamarine but delicate it ain't!

Beatrice in a Vampire’s wife dress last night.
Makes me think she may go a bit “ avant garde” with her wedding dress

I like the skirt, but Oh my! the York ladies do like a comfy shoe!

I actually love that loafer. I'm normally noy keen on Gucci loafers but with stars on? I'd make an exception!

I absolutely love the Yorks shoes. I've never seen a single one I wouldn't wear myself. They absolutely love their shoes and they always wear ones with some interest. Not for them the plain nude pump, thank god.

Never quite sure what I think about visiting dignitaries wearing “local dress”. It seems a bit patronising to me.

I love that lemon/cream one on Diana. I wouldn't want to see Kate in the same clothes but something similar would be very elegant.

I imagine the Cambridge's Pakistan tour will be a lot more formal and therefore glam than the Sussexes' SA one. I really hope people don't start getting the calculators out and comparing costs.

No, I think it would be lovely.
However, in the past Kate has taken inspiration from William and Harry’s childhood outfits for her own children rather than for herself.
I think Kate’s personal,style channels the Queen’s 1940s looks.

As a photographer herself, I think she has a good sense of what makes a good photo.

I’d love to see the York Princesses in some of the Queen’s vintage outfits. They are bosomy and have small waists so would do them justice.

I wonder what has happened to Diana’s old clothes?
I guess the ones not sold, on display or nicked by Paul Burrel were disposed of by her sisters.

No idea, just a guess. Maybe she tries to limit how often she wears heels, or for how long.

I agree with you Bert. I have said numerous times I don't think comparisons are helpful or relevant.

They're not ,but it's human nature to make them .

Just as stereotyping and pigeon holing is a habit that helps us make sense of the world and is hard to avoid .
