I agree with whoever said about the beige being 1980s Barbie office wear and also about Kate collapsing in the middle.

I think I might be alone in this but I bloody hate that Jenny Peckham dress. It just makes me think of "sheers on sheers" as my Canadian mother used to call them (and scoff).

Harry and Meghan are taking legal action against the daily mail looks like the case will mainly revolve around the letter Meghans dad released I wonder if that's why we have heard less from the Markles recently? Maybe they have been threatened will legal action as oppose to paid off?

Good on Harry for standing up to the press and calling them out of course being in the public eye and being royal in particular, it won't be all flattering articles but they way they have gone after Meghan something is needed to stop it!

I think this has probably been rumbling away in the back ground for a while. From the statement there is obviously lots of things said the can't proven to be lies or break any law but that went to far and as the press hasn't let up at some point he had to take action.

It's a powerful statement indeed and I think it's the right move they need to take a stand against the press it's been ridiculous.

As for why now it could just be that's how long the process takes but I think they have probably done it while on a high from the tour (incase of backlash) but before William and Kate go (incase they are accused of stealing the spot light). They also had to give bea's engagement announcement time to settle I guess

I think the beige dress looked better on film when i saw it on the news but agree its not great. I am tall and long waisted (if that's a thing) and as a pp said belts and waists on dresses feel like they are up under my armpits often. I think Megs looks like that too but people think she is short waisted. Liked the green dress today

The DM car article is crazy. Its intentional in eliciting the exact response it wants in the comments section. I.e. heyvare hypocrites due to the carbon footprint of shipping cars. But clearly, any security decisions would be completely out of their hands and ultimately lie with the PPOs/ Scotland Yard/Foreign Office.

Is this about a letter that Meghan wrote to her father who then shared it with the press? (Among other things). Good for them for taking a stand.

That's the only letter I can think of. If it is that letter it would also explain why that side of the family suddenly went quiet I doubt it is because they realised the error of their ways but the threat of legal action might have done it!

The case has been building against the DM for months. By being patient they have ensured that the rag has been given enough rope to hang itself. One article can be argued, hundreds collated by the legal profession these past months are damning. Oh and I would say it was a lot longer than nine months this has been going on.

I would also say the rag has been at the Royal family in its entirety since the new editor took over. It is now a republican paper.

We've commented on here about how quiet the markles have been since Archie was born, at a guess this is why.

Seems it's not just the daily mail the sun have had to Print a retraction about a story too. Harry and Meghan have obviously decided to take a stand hopefully it works!

Having worked in a certain industry it amazes me when the press write about famous people in film dating other famous people, it is such a crock that they fawn over them with stories of romance when you know that they are assholes/wife beaters/gay/drug addicts or worse. There is a conspiracy of silence which allows some nasty individuals to enjoy a life unfettered.

Yet MM wears the wrong shoes/dress and it is a heinous crime of fashion.
