Oh how annoying Soover hope you’ll be able to make a final decision on Monday but at least you know the plum coat is a potential keeper. 👍
I think you’ll find the v neck bell top from Hush too long too but you’ll like the leggings as they’re easy to fold up at the bottom for us shorties (was it you or not who ordered too? Can’t remember) and you have the red jumper to look forward to too!
Here’s a pic of me wearing the v neck bell sleeved top with the leggings. It’s okay but disappointed with the length which doesn’t work for me with skirts...also the fabric is a bit scratchy/feels plasticky. Hey ho I’m happy and the more I return the more £ back in my account Wink

Oh so the red jumper may not work after all for you Soover Sad Still until you try you don’t know and the Jigsaw velvet trousers sound fab!

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 14:06

The navy blue boatneck top is also such a disappointment. Really just a meh long T shirt. I was expecting way more for the £

twosoups1972 · 12/10/2019 15:10

@SoyYo the coat is really lovely, definitely keep.

Love the leggings and top too. Lovely with the skirt Smile

twosoups1972 · 12/10/2019 15:13

So my Hush haul was a bit disappointing.

Pintuck leggings - these were baggy on me even in a S.

Monica jumper - quite nice but I didn't realise it was still full price and I don't think it's worth £75. I am still on the hunt for that perfect cream jumper, not sure this is it.

Sporty jersey jacket - now this I do like. But I have so many jackets and not sure how much wear it'll get. It's in the 'maybe' pile.

Dark green v-neck merino jumper - this is nice but in 'maybe' pile for now.

WoahThereMama · 12/10/2019 15:37

Lurker here (waves hello) - I’ll be sending back the Pelle coat in a size 10 & size 12 on Monday if there is anyone keeping an eye out for any coming back into stock.

Even at 5ft 6 I felt the coat wore me rather than the other way round and neither fitted just quite right on me. Disappointed but it looked too much like a dressing gown on me sadly.

WoahThereMama · 12/10/2019 15:39

I must’ve ordered about 20 items in total and am only keeping one! Good for my bank balance but very disappointing sale this time round. The delivery arrived in 3 big boxes but only had one returns label which is a bit annoying and makes no sense so I had to email them to send more.

Sooverthemill · 12/10/2019 15:48

@WoahThereMother hello! And thanks for the heads up about the coat. I loved it but it will be too long for me ( I'm 5'1"). I wish Hush would do a petite range.

Well done for only keeping one thing. I find it hard not seeing stuff before buying ( but can rarely get to real shops) and it's only once you touch and try things on that you can tell. That's a bugger about the returns label. I have loads so PM me if they won't help. Though I wonder if you could parcel tape them all together and stick one label on?

twosoups1972 · 12/10/2019 15:51

Welcome @WoahThereMama Smile The coat is lovely and a bargain but no point keeping it if it's not right on you. What did you keep in the end?

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 16:05

Hello @WoahThereMama I’ll have to check the return label situation but tbh I have so many too from previous orders I wasn’t concerned about it. It’s funny isn’t it I’m only 5’3” tall and so it’s much longer than on the model pics on me yet I don’t feel swamped. Could have something to do with body shape too? I’m an inverted triangle shape so have wider shoulders vs hips...and because the check pattern is in such muted greys it doesn’t feel overwhelming whereas a brighter coloured check would have been too much.
Or maybe I’m deluded Grin in any case cherries who’s also quite tall sent hers back so it must be a bit like Marmite.
What did you keep?

Oh soups how very disappointing Sad but I guess if you return the lot your 😇 will be quite intact. I did see a cream jumper in the sale but maybe not your style? (The one Ellahas) and thanks for the 👌on my purchases.

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 16:13

Just checked as my lot came in 3 parcels too but each delivery has a free returns label so definitely contact Hush for more labels if you need them.
Yes out of 9 items I ordered with this lot only keeping 3 and 6 going back so definitely not as successful as previous sale hauls (actually quite glad about that 😅).

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2019 16:38

@soyo, I have the V-neck top. I have worn it quite a few times. Its looking a wee bit big on me now. I really like it on you with your leggings!
It does feel a bit plasticky. Not the best material but a plus is that it washes and dries like that so I have never had to iron it. It looks good with a short skirt. Ive definitely worn it with skirts but I am a wee bit taller than you.
My two deliveries of the coat came only with one returns label. It is very strange as they were in two separate boxes.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2019 16:40

@Soyo maybe we are both deluded! It could have looked like a dressing gown on me as I was wearing PJ's under it!!!
You don't look like you are wearing a dressing gown @soyo.

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 16:52

Phew! That’s a relief 😅 Thank You never! I would be very sad to return the coat but if general consensus was it swamps you I would have second thoughts (asking DH is totally hopeless he always tells me everything looks great Hmm and he’s my only fashion arbitrator in RL Grin).
Yes DH the bad enabler man said “keep” to the bell sleeved top...but no it’s going back as I only wanted it for the new slinky/velvet skirts not for trousers. So back it goes! I’m not wowed by it and actually the velour black top works really well as a juxtaposition of textures with the pink slinky skirt but sadly not with the velvet (too much velvety goodness going on).

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 17:05

And Never certainly did NOT look like a dressing gown on you despite the jammies underneath Smile

Laska2Meryls · 12/10/2019 18:44

Hi WoahThereMama god to 'meet' you.. do stick around! (but its dangerous ground so hold onto your credit card!!)Grin.

I love the Pele coat on bothe of you Never and Soy its a real bargain.. sadly I cannot see when I would wear it..

Ok so visitors gone and I rushed upstairs to open my parcels..

The Ursula maxi dress , ..... well its certainly not for me even at £30!!... I looked like a cross between Little house on the Prairie meets Out of Africa 🤣.. straight back in the box..

The waffle hoody is nice but somehow just a bit ordinary I thought .. and still expensive even in the sale .. its fine, and would be a useful piece but its going back.. .. I'd buy it again if it was further reduced , but not now .

Bedale trainers , nice and comfy but again not keeping , I'm not so keen on the gold tongue piece and heel.. I might try the black ones though.. (but they are still £££, so not now, I reckon they may get further reduced sometime )

So the only thing left was the Snake print leggings ! Am keeping those.. They are really nice .. so of that lot only £24 spent Halo

I still have more coming though , green Bloomsbury dress and the waffle top.. Smile

ilovecherries · 12/10/2019 18:54

Yes, the 12 in the Pelle was far too big across my shoulders, but was pulling slightly over the bum so I think it might be a shape thing. Pity as a lovely fabric, probably the best quality thing Hush has made for years. You both look lovely in it. Also straight back went the red Felix dress - the black fit me fine in a medium, but the shoulders of the red one looked weird, and again too big on the shoulders and tight on the bum.

Still waiting a decision: jogging chinos - not sure what to make of them. I’m wondering if they actually look a bit M&S classic collection. Also waiting a decision is the waffle hoodie. It’s nice, but quite dark, and I’m not actually sure where the waffle comes into it as it’s a plain knit. I have also managed to snag a leopard Simone in a 12 from JL, which I will pick up tomorrow. I’m not sure about it, but wanted to try it.

huff, love the velvet!

OP posts:
Laska2Meryls · 12/10/2019 19:17

I thought that about the waffle hoodie also cherries ,yeah it is nice but is it £75 nice? ..I may try it again in the morning..

JL have 20% promotion , so Instead of the Hush trainers I have ordered
these Kin ones and these Dune ones in Navy

fingers crossed...

Laska2Meryls · 12/10/2019 19:19

.. Obvs the Dune ones aren't in the promotion , but if they are good , ill have 2 pairs for the price of the Hush Bedale ( even at sale price)

noodlezoodle · 12/10/2019 19:23

Uh oh @Huffthepuff, I think you may have just cost me some money Grin

That jacket is so beautiful - I coveted an olive green Boden one last year but it was just too expensive. This one looks gorgeous and a reasonable price (especially with the 20% off). I tend to wear jeans pretty much all the time and this looks the kind of jacket that can be added over jeans and a simple top and make it into a proper 'outfit'.

How's the sizing? I have pretty broad shoulders so I'm thinking I'll go for a 14 but if it's very generously cut I could maybe try a 12.

Laska2Meryls · 12/10/2019 19:25

Sorry about this, but here is a potentially dangerous handbag site that I have just seen linked on another thread. (just saying)

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 19:27

Liking the look of both trainers Laska (did I tell you I returned the Hush leather starry ones to Hush? I just couldn’t see me getting enough wear out of them...a bit like you with the Pelle coat). The leggings are fab I agree! Shame the rest is a bit of a fail but hey that means more money back in the account so no so bad after all. Little House in the Prairie meets Out of Africa! Grin

Cherries I think our wardrobes are so stuffed with Hush over the years that this is why we’re much more discerning these days. We’ve learnt to recognise the true bargains in terms of flattering fit for each of our body shapes and quality/value for money.
Plus we’ve all defected so often to other High St brands that yeah unless you’re 100% sure you’ll get sufficient wear best to return.

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 19:28

Sorry to Brand Alley not Hush

SoyYo · 12/10/2019 19:34

noodle the M&S velvet colour is fabulous! I saw it in the shop and had to physically go “No!” as I was itching to try it. I’m hoping it’ll be in the sale but I doubt there’ll be any stock left by then...Sad It looked fairly true to size but I didn’t try (Wish I had now and may do next week when I’m back near M&S again). Naughty naughty Huff

Bag site is great and bargainous Laska. A great one to bear in mind for future handbag needs.

Huffthepuff · 12/10/2019 19:56

Loving the Pelle coats! You look fantastic in them Soyyo and Never!

@noodlezoodle the M&S velvet jacket is true to size but not generously cut. I'm narrow shouldered and I find it very neat across the back. I think I'll be sending mine back actually. I really adore the fabric/colour but the formal fit means it won't get worn regularly. If Money was no object then I would keep but I have to only buy stuff if I'll wear it loads. I'll try it again tomorrow and make a decision.

Just realised Hush have silver high tops. I think they will be my next purchase...😬
