@Laska2Meryls welcome back!

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 21:10

never Yes 😂 some golden oldies there. My maxi leopard Devore skirt (also bought in the sale last winter) there and my black tie shirt with sheer sleeves and gold stars. Also bought in last years sale.
But tbh the styles don’t change that much season to season so it’s okay as if you missed out last time round you can try now.

I just wish more new stock was on sale too as I’m lusting after the red snake print short shirt dress which I reckon will be fab on shorties but not buying unless it’s reduced

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 21:14

Oh @soyo, I saw that dress in JL. Its lovely but not lined. It is also quite short. I think its gorgeous and a vibrant bright red. It would be great with leggings or over black skinny jeans. I love it too...

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 21:16

And I worry about the shrinkage of their dresses. All of the dresses that are viscose have shrunk to some degree.

miffy2 · 09/10/2019 21:18

I googled Hush mid season sale and it brought up a whole section. Some of the items are reduced and others are not but I wonder if that is everything they plan on reducing?

I would perhaps get a Felix in red or black as I have had lots and lots of wear out of the two I already have (and they are about 3/4 years old; I machine wash them on a cold setting). The black would be good with coated leggings. Hmmm.

taybert · 09/10/2019 21:28

@twosoups1972 I got the XS. In most shops I’m a 10.

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 21:32

Is the Felix generous or TTS miffy?
The red looks tempting I agree and £40 for a pure wool simple dress...great it can be washed in cold delicates as it says dry clean only

miffy2 · 09/10/2019 21:43

@SoyYo yes quite generous. I wear a medium and I would be 12-14, with a large chest. I have navy and burgundy and always lament not having black to go with all my black trousers and leggings so I think I will take the plunge, it is a good price.

I am also returning over €200 worth of Zara orders tomorrow so that frees up some spending money :D

miffy2 · 09/10/2019 21:44

I meant to say I wear the Felix as a tunic as it would be indecent on me as a dress (I am almost 5' 7").

miffy2 · 09/10/2019 21:45

I also took the plunge and ordered the coated jeans. Hopefully they are a better style on me than the previous ones which were very low on the waist.

ilovecherries · 09/10/2019 21:50

Yes, I ordered a black felix this morning as well. I have burgundy and charcoal from two years ago and I’ve worn them both loads. I see myself wearing it with silver hair. I had the hoodie and the Clara in my basket to think about, but both are now showing at full price.

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 22:03

Thanks miffy I may get it then in M and S to compare. The coated jeans look so good too 👌

I’m sorry you’re having such trouble with the site cherries but there was plenty stock left in the skirt when I checked it earlier so fingers crossed you can order in the morning.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 22:12

@soovermill, yes it is baggier but for me just the right amount without being too clingy.

Talisin · 09/10/2019 22:13

Well the Hush homepage now shows as mid season sale for me and clicking through takes me to the sale but only the old stuff shows up as discounted, all the more current stuff is still showing as full price. Hush are really mucking this up - whoever’s in charge of running their website needs a swift kick up the backside.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 22:34

Well when I go on, some of the new stuff is on!!! How strange! I can see the boogie tee, the Julia neon knit, the clara crew is reduced to £48.75. A mixture of old and new?

ilovecherries · 09/10/2019 22:35

Nah, I don’t want the skirt, soy, I was just using it as an example of stuff I saw reduced this morning, that is now back to full price - basically anything that was from this year’s stock, I’d say. I will be quite content with the Felix.

OK, now everything is showing with the sale prices. This has been a terrible rollout.

imalloutofideas · 09/10/2019 22:48

Does anyone have Agnes jeans?

imalloutofideas · 09/10/2019 22:49

Looking for hush trouser recommendations and hush knitwear recommendations please (a bit open ended I know!) ....

ilovecherries · 10/10/2019 07:13

ideas, what sort of things do you like? I like the Harems (size down), and also the Aimee joggers, although I find these go very thin, very quickly and aren’t really worth the money. Chinos tend to be a good quality and true to size and most of their cropped chinos and cropped jeans have worn well over the summer. Elasticated waist proper trousers tend to be quite big, and often a bit thin, but I have the side stripe ones that are currently reduced to £25, and wore them a lot. Their jeans look great but I can never get a good fit, they are always tight on the waist and baggy on the crotch, but most others here seem to rate them. Quality is certainly lovely.

Knitwear wise - I have the pheobe and it’s lovely - thick, heavy cream. Also like their cashmere, but it’s spendy. A lot of their knitwear has quite high polyester or acrylic and I find doesn’t wash that well. But I have the oversized Beatrice jumpers in a couple of colours and love them. The Lacey jumper, also in the sale is an old favourite that has stood the test of time.

Anything specific you were thinking about? If so, someone probably has it and can advise.

Placed a last minute order on the £30 zebra dress last night! I see you did too @ laska welcome back! We'll have to go on safari together wearing our dresses and a wide brimmed hat Grin
Yesterday morning, even though I had recently lost it, my free friends premium delivery was available when I ordered. Last night it had gone and I had to pay Sad as it was under £50. Contemplated upping it with some earrings but decided £4 was better than blowing £20!

Laska2Meryls · 10/10/2019 08:36

never I think that you bought the Bloomsbury dress and returned it because it was big ? What size did you get? Atm I have the 8&
10in my bag ..but with my norks should Id even try the 12? Confused, id never usually go for an 8 but reviews all say its huge . Are the sleeves tight?

ilovecherries · 10/10/2019 08:38

Laska, I wore a 12 in it before my reduction and it was still roomy enough. So def no bigger than 10, I would think.

Laska2Meryls · 10/10/2019 08:42

Laska2Meryls · 10/10/2019 08:44

Thanks Cherries, I've ordered both sizes..
