Sorry all caps: OCT19

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 10:08

Laska your Portugal wine tasting must be fabulous as not a peep from you, not even with a mid season sale on Smile Hope you’re having a wonderful time.

Gin Hope your new skirt has calmed itself down Grin Show us when it has...

Sooverthemill · 09/10/2019 10:26

@SoyYo I cleared cookies and history and I got it. Now I have a dilemma as I wasn't going to buy but the lovely fine clara jumper which I have in grey is reduced and I like it! Red or neon?

twosoups1972 · 09/10/2019 11:15

@Talisin I don’t think they ever reduce Kensington dresses, they’re so popular. I would say it’s worth grabbing one at full price, I love my starry one I bought in the summer.

Lots of reductions but yes, old stock! I’m thinking about a green v neck fine merino jumper.

twosoups1972 · 09/10/2019 11:40

Got some things in my Hush basket Blush

Monica v neck jumper in cream, I’ve been looking for a cream jumper

Pin tuck leggings - anyone have them?

Sporty jersey jacket - I’d been looking at this although I really don’t need any more jackets!

Mila fine v neck jumper in pine

twosoups1972 · 09/10/2019 11:40

Oh and my velvet embroidered jacket has arrived, it’s very nice, will post a picture later.

dontcallmelen · 09/10/2019 12:09

Gin hope the skirt has de electrified itself, nothing worse than static makes me go all funny 😂
Ella love all the pics, could wear the dress with brogues as well burgundy patent one would look good I think, the boiler suit could try with chunky trainers maybe.
Soups look forward to picture of velvet jacket.

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 12:33

Soover glad it’s working now! On the jumper red is a classic, Neón will brighten up a dull day. Get both? Grin

soups ooh look forward to seeing the embroidered velvet jacket. You seem to have a nice sale selection in your basket too 👌 but sorry no advice as I don’t own any but if you’re after leggings and knowing your shape is similar to mine size down to at least a 10 in the leggings as they tend to be very stretchy...

Talisin · 09/10/2019 12:34

@SoyYo it was the side stripe jersey trousers I got for mum, I think that’s different? My Yasmin skirt was £29 on Brand alley.

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 12:50

Talisin attaching screen shot of the trousers I thought you’d ordered, sorry if I confused you...now you’re totally right the Jasmin skirt was £29 not £18 and it’s £25 on Hush new sale so mmm may be worth reordering in 8 and returning the 10 to BA...

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 12:51

Talisin now with pics the joggers I thought you’d ordered...possibly I got it wrong though!

Well they emailed me and premium delivery is off for the sale. I've been very good and just ordered the red clara jumper as the neon isn't in the sale ( too popular I'm guessing) as I loved the red and I will get lots of wear I think. Tons of other stuff I deliberated over but trying very hard not to buy

Talisin · 09/10/2019 14:15

Thanks @SoyYo, yeah that’s them alright. I think I need to go through all recently ordered Hush & BA stuff to see what works out cheaper.

NotAnActualSheep · 09/10/2019 16:47

Lovely photos and chat hushies!

ella - I agree that the emmanuelle looks brilliant on you, and the pink skirt. I have the same trouble with navy - black tights/ shoes sometimes work, but sometimes just look as if I can't be bothered 'cos black "goes with everything". Grey/ slate, or finer black (only semi-opaque) may work. Or yes, navy tights with burgundy as never suggested.

soover - ah good, was going to recommend the red. I got a similar jumper last year and was swithering between something neutral and red and ended up with the red and it is great! Love it, and it goes with more than you think it should! Also, love your photos way back with the jersey shirt and white stuff stuff. You look so good!

gin - agree with the others on the coated skinnies and velvet tux definitely being the stand out things from your haul. Shame about the boden jumper, but, yes, I'm sure your DH would rather you had something you love. Hope your crackly skirt has calmed itself down enough for you to try on and photograph... hate it when floaty stuff gets so static it starts crawling around you. Gah.

soups - sorry to hear the cinema trip wasn't good. Can't believe the folks in your seat didn't swap with you when they saw DD on crutches... such a small thing to do. CFs. Like the sound of your basket. The cream jumper (and the navy version) look lovely - and the pine one too (I have a bit of a thing over knitwear...turns out that there is always something else that i want..even though I have eleventy million jumpers). Also would love to see that gorgeous (non brora) embroidered jacket.

talisin - that maroon next blazer looks beautiful. Such a gorgeous rich colour. Hope it works for you. Though I agree, there are a lot of very thin velvety things that are a bit of a disappointment. The velvet skirt does look so good, but I think for the price I would want it to be lovely and heavy and swooshy. Though the colour and cut are so perfect. Grrrrrrr.

len - ooooh, you speak of paint and fabric as if you're decorating? What are your plans? Love your style and your eye for interior design! (We're painting our guest bedroom having got rid of some nasty '80s wallpaper that has been there since we moved in - but I just can't get further than "some kind of beige". I'm hopeless...)

I've not been that buy-y recently (still recovering from my toast splurge) though I did get that M&S slip skirt in the sale in store that had been further reduced to £2.87.... go me! And a bra for 89p. Couldn't really refuse that. Though I have ordered a couple of things from the hush sale - the same boat neck top soy ordered (i was considering it when it first came out, but thought it was rather expensive) and the star printed leggings, as I wear last year's leopard ones all the time for pilates. And also thought I'd try the Martina skirt "just to see".. I think the print is very pretty, and love it styled on the model - though I think it may look rather frumpy on me. We'll see... It's allegedly like the Marina, but with a full length lining, which may work, or may make the whole thing a bit too full. I have a chunky navy jumper that could work with it, or that pinky summer weight cashmere from last year....

ilovecherries · 09/10/2019 17:29

There are lots of things that were appearing in thesale for me this morning that are back up to full price - including the Clara jumpers and the Camo star jumper.

@cherries that’s strange. Actually when I put the Monica jumper in my basket this morning, I swear it was in the sale but when I checked out later it was full price! Confused

ilovecherries · 09/10/2019 17:56

Yes, the Monica jumper was another thing, and the martina skirt.

Well I logged out and logged back in and the sale preview was there. I have ordered the pelle coat as I love it. Its a bargain at £80 although I have kept the black one but that's a present for my birthday. I was eyeing up getting a check coat when I saw that. Will report back when it eventually comes. I am off next week so will look forward to getting it. Hopefully it wont take as long as Tuesday!

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 18:12

The clara jumper is great but honestly this is fabulous:

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 18:14

I have it in navy and have ordered it in camel to go with a brown cord A-line skirt

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 18:18

Its not got 3/4 length sleeves but maybe that's a plus when its cold. Its also a lovely fine weight. Its really worth the money.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/10/2019 18:18

They also do it in a V-neck.

taybert · 09/10/2019 18:25

The raven dress is nice, I’m going to keep. The ivy was too big, even in XS so it’s going back which is a shame as I like the colour and the pockets but it just drowns me. Come to think of it, I think I’ve ordered it before and sent it back.

Since I’m sending the ivy back I might try the Emmanuel.

SoyYo · 09/10/2019 18:25

Yes please never do! I really liked it but stopped myself as I don’t really need more coats and actually own a fabulous check coat already...but at that price super tempting.

soover wise choice with red jumper, I’m still on the lookout for the perfect plain red jumper and was tempted but I know the crew necks just don’t suit my chest Sad

not yes the Martina skirt looks lovely and was also very tempted (still am) but I’ve already bought the slinky satin and the velvet (and own several old season Hush skirts including 2 Marinas) so sitting on hands...

cherries try clearing your browser and logging in again I can see the Martina skirt reduced on my browser.

I placed a second order earlier. Like not fancied another pair of leggings for Pilates (love my starry ones) so the snake print is coming my way. And a black v neck top with bell sleeves for my many skirts. And some velour things too Blush We shall see if they are all keepers as I’m fully expecting to return some.

I have however returned the starry leather trainers and the maxi Jasmin skirt to BA...I don’t know why I thought the Jasmin was £18 but Talisin put me right and when I factor in the cost of having it taken up too it is not such a bargain anymore.
