Hello,

I'd like to buy a stylish cross-body bag for my sister for her 40th. Handbag size rather than big work bag.

Could be classic black or tan, or something more colourful and interesting - but want it to be stylish as she's a stylish person!

Budget up to £100.

There’s no denying a lot of people will see the Gucci version in this and the one you’ve posted above but that’s fine IMO, it wouldn’t bother me - I have designer bags and if I want to wear them I will, but I also wear plenty of good quality high street.

I have a few of them Netflix it’s a popular style at the moment but quite classic I think, I can vouch for it being very good quality.

The bag does look a little like the Gucci one but it's popular for a reason and that is a very nice handbag! Classic, will go with everything.

I have a gorgeous crossbody by a company called day and mood. Got it in Debenhams on Black Friday last year for £70 and it's so soft. I get loads of compliments on it. Can't see it on their website just now, but it's very similar to this one:

They are nice incontrolofmyownlife I prefer leather though. I ordered the Eliza for me and a Chloe in dark red as a gift from my earlier link. I don’t know anything about vegan leather bags, whether it’s good quality or another word for plastic/PU if you see what I mean?

Radley have 50% off their cross body pocket bags at the moment which brings even the largest one into your budget.

Be careful with Radley, though. There is the odd good one but I’d wager that most stylish people of my age bracket (I’m older than your sister by 3 years) would consider that an ‘older’ brand. I wouldn’t wear it because to me it’s something my grandmother would have worn when she was in her eighties... and if I want to do classic/granny chic I’d be buying from Russell and Bromley or similar, rather than somewhere like Radley.

What did you go for Quicknamechange ? I used to love a big bag but I’m very stuck on crossbody bags now, I have a problem with the circulation in one of my hands so not having to carry a bag helps a lot.
