What did we all think ? I love it personally it think it was very her 💕

Looks like a nun's dress except for the lack of head piece. Sister act type of thing.

I do feel puzzled by the bridesmaids lack of hairstyles.
Even my friend who is really poor is paying for her bridesmaids to have their hair styled.

Their hair looked like mine when I'm running late for work on an early shift & just about have time to scrape my hair back with an elastic band I've borrowed.

Wow I can't believe some of the nasty comments. Not your wedding, not your choice. She is not being a sheep and wearing a predictable wedding dress! Good luck to her!

I think she looked lovely and so happy.. it's not something I'd personally ever wear though... the neckline is so high itd drive me mad! I guess you have to wear a very modest dress in a minster though, no low cut or sleeveless.
I liked the little embroidery bits all over it.
The flower arch at the front of the minster was great.

i love more 'modest' wedding dresses, clothes in general actually, i particularly love wedding dresses with sleeves! i find being well covered far more elegant. however, i don't like this one! still not as much as I disliked Meghan Markles though! Kate's was a lovely example of an elegant dress i thought.

I loved Meghan Marckles dress! I thought it was really striking and suited her so much.
I'm not sure Ellies dress really suited her that well.. but it might just be my taste I really dont like those ruffle high necks. She looked really happy and excited though and that was beautiful... so did Meghan! I love a good wedding!

Not a nice dress at all,it looks old fashioned, but maybe it was her Mums wedding dress.

I prefer Ellie's dress to mine which was a typical late 80's early 90's style.

I thought the bridesmaid dresses, tinies in pretty flower headbands aside, were ghastly.
Those dresses flattered none of them.

Different you've got to admit, but very staid, even the two royal brides were less formal, and bridesmaids should be in a different colour to contrast, overall boring

Soola thanks for those photographs, I had never heard of her and only seen her face when looking at photo because of this thread. I thought it was obvious that she had used a lot of lip filler. I personally think she looks much prettier in the first photo.

So, there's a second wedding dress if you want to see if that's more to everyone's liking, I imagine that won't be right either.

Not keen. I love the simplicity of it, and I love the long sleeves. But the collar... it's very Tudor or chorister.

Would have been nicer with a slash neck or simple round neck.

Awww I think it’s a nice wedding dress, it’s different but just a bit ill fitting, the second dress is too plain and boring but she looks elegant enough in it.

She's quite a famous singer TBF.

So sick of brides with strapless dresses and cleavages - ok for a night out but that puts me in the minority

I think I've only heard of maybe 5 singers...and one of them is Elvis. I don't care what he got married in either :)

I steer clear of S&B for good reason, and should know better than to fall for the old trending trick...

She's gorgeous but the dress is awful, no hang, terrible use of fabric.

I prefer the day dress but can see why she's want to change for the evening.
