Is this bikini inappropriate?

Hi all, just NCed as you can see my bedroom furniture in these pics and I don't want it linked to my posting history. Regular poster though!

I just received this bikini set I bought online, and it is waaaaay more revealing than I thought!! The bottom is teeny tiny, and the top is also quite small and offers zero support (not that I need much...). I feel quite exposed wearing it

For context, I am 30, so not exactly a spring chicken anymore!

Is it too outrageously skimpy to wear? Shall I send it back and exchange it with some more, ehm, appropriate? Does it look tacky?

I have never worn anything this skimpy in public, not sure I'll have the guts to actually wear it

A trip around the local Waitrose on a rainy Sunday in Barnsley, well yea slightly inappropriate.

It looks good on you but looks more like underwear than bikini to me. I'm not a fan of one shoulder stuff and it looks mixed as so different from bottom half. Nothing about how you look in it. I just don't like the style or colours much.

I'd be worried about the weight of a wet crotch and arse area dragging the bottom down. If not getting into the pool or sea then it's lovely. You do look great in it.

Inappropriate for wearing to school pick up or Tesco but absolutely appropriate as a bikini.

That’s the standard style on my local beach for college age females so I’d say very on trend! Whether you should where it I think depends where you’re going really- a sun lounger or partying holiday then I’d say go for it. A water park with the kids I might think twice. Just make sure you’re definitely comfortable with it first. It looks great on you in the pictures but it won’t look so hot if you’re digging it out of your arse on the beach!
