Is this bikini inappropriate?

Hi all, just NCed as you can see my bedroom furniture in these pics and I don't want it linked to my posting history. Regular poster though!

I just received this bikini set I bought online, and it is waaaaay more revealing than I thought!! The bottom is teeny tiny, and the top is also quite small and offers zero support (not that I need much...). I feel quite exposed wearing itShock

For context, I am 30, so not exactly a spring chicken anymore!

Is it too outrageously skimpy to wear? Shall I send it back and exchange it with some more, ehm, appropriate? Does it look tacky?

I have never worn anything this skimpy in public, not sure I'll have the guts to actually wear itBlush

I think you know exactly how good you look in it! But yes if you need yet more positive stroking it looks great

BeTheHokeyMan · 20/08/2019 19:17

Just back from Greece and almost 99 percent of swimsuit bottoms were similar to yours I felt like a frump in my sizeable highwaisted ones Blush

gavisconismyfriend · 20/08/2019 19:18

You look fabulous! If I had your figure, I’d definitely be wearing it!

MynameisMaximus · 20/08/2019 19:19

Love it and you look fantastic in it!

1forAll74 · 20/08/2019 19:21

It looks nice on you with your good figure,, and I say that as an oldie, as in over 70. If you feel happy and confident in it, wear it big time.

WorraLiberty · 20/08/2019 19:21

Not sure I’ll have the guts to wear it. But no issues posting it on here?
Did you just post for the arse compliments?

How is posting an anonymous headless shot, even remotely similar to walking around wearing it in real life? Confused

You look great! Wear it! Grin

BogglesGoggles · 20/08/2019 19:25

It really depends on the situation. I really wouldn’t be wearing this in front of anyone I knew without a perfect body, even then I probably wouldn’t. but seeing as you are going on holiday I assume it will be just you/you and someone you are very close to? So it may not matter?

Pipandmum · 20/08/2019 19:26

Like the top not the bottom. Too Kim Kardashian!

DelphiniumBlue · 20/08/2019 19:27

The pants are skimpy, and don't balance the top well. You've got such a fab figure, I'm sure you can find something nicer.
As for appropriate, maybe on a beach somewhere hot, but not really in the UK.

madcatladyforever · 20/08/2019 19:27

You can still get away with it so wear it.

sauvignonblancplz · 20/08/2019 19:27

You look FAB!!!

StarlightLady · 20/08/2019 19:34

It’s lovely.

I don’t think it’s a brief as some people are making out on here. It’s fairly similar to what you see on Portuguese, French and Greek beaches. The only downside is strange tan line potential unless you remove the top. On most beaches that is what I do.

Russell19 · 20/08/2019 19:40

The colour mismatch would annoy me but you look great!!

FVFrog · 20/08/2019 19:42

You look fabulous!

OpenYourEyes · 20/08/2019 19:43

@ItsGoingTibiaK oops, I have never been. Would Lidl be more appropriate? Grin

Notwiththeseknees · 20/08/2019 19:47

You look amazing and I have arse envy too! In twenty years time when you look back at your photos you will be Shock at how fabulous you look in it!!

Missymare · 20/08/2019 19:59

You look amazing

LemonPrism · 20/08/2019 20:12

Looks normal to me... bikini bottoms are smaller now, it's just the fashion.

You look great

Chesneyhawkes1 · 20/08/2019 20:50

I'd wear it and I'm 40!

Go for it

Destinesia · 20/08/2019 22:37

I like it a lot, I love the mismatched, asymmetric look and I think it looks fantastic on you.

The only reason I'd say please don't, is if you're going to be doing a lot of squatting/crawling/bending over entertaining your baby/toddler!

WaitrosePigeon · 20/08/2019 23:35

You look fantastic in that. Wear it :)

IdblowJonSnow · 20/08/2019 23:41

Well you can pull it off so if you're happy wear it.

QueefLatifah · 20/08/2019 23:47

Makes your bum look a bit hungry but apart from that..

The tan lines though
