Registry office wedding . Just us .wasnt going to bother with a wedding dress , just a new outfit but saw this online for 42 quid and fell in love . Arrived today , it’s resllyptetty , it fits , but it isn’t white as it looked . In fairness it’s described as antique vintage lace . I should return it shouldn’t i ?

This looks truly beautiful on you. Vintage lace looks so romantic, especially in this shade. And it's a dress that you could wear afterwards, on special occasions (like your wedding anniversary).

Oh that's just lovely! It's perfect for an elopement (or a full-on wedding). For the sake of £42, I might try and HANDwash it - there are loads of products and turorials on google.

Very few people can carry off "bright" white wedding dresses.

Fab choice. Gorgeous dress - perfect for an elopement wedding with a simple bouquet. Take the dress for florist to match colour and then pick out an accent colour for additional flower colour. Congrats and enjoy the day.

It's ivory, which is a perfectly acceptable wedding-dress colour! Although, if you're feeling that unsure about it, could you just get it professionally cleaned and see if it comes up whiter? FWIW, I don't think it matters. You can tell by looking at it that it's vintage and it would look odd if it was bright white.
