The elopement dress

Registry office wedding . Just us .wasnt going to bother with a wedding dress , just a new outfit but saw this online for 42 quid and fell in love . Arrived today , it’s resllyptetty , it fits , but it isn’t white as it looked . In fairness it’s described as antique vintage lace . I should return it shouldn’t i ?

Thank you you’re all so kind 🙂 I think I’ll buy new shoes . Maybe some t strap ones ? Not sure what colour though . Dp wouldn’t care if I wore leggings , we’ve lived together 25 years already . I’ve no one I can ask in RL as we aren’t telling a soul , just getting married and going for a meal so I really appreciate your help !

I’m sure t-strap shoes would be perfectly nice - perhaps too costume-y for my taste.

It is absolutely beautiful - don't change a thing about it.

I'd personally go for a simple block heel sandal/shoe - something like this or this (not necessarily pink)

Prefer the flats quarter , couldn’t really see me on the boots . The aldo sandals are nice vino , although perhaps might get ruined if the weather is like it has been .

Sorry but I think its a bit hideous. To me, not only does it look nicotine stained but also that it was made from the net curtains from said nicotine stained house.

I think you need to go and stand in a less white room, the contrast isn’t helping you see the dress.

Take it with you to buy the flowers so they can get a good match in the colour and add something a bit stronger to the bouquet
