Tiny holes in front of T shirts driving me mad!

Both me and my DS15 get tiny holes in the front of our t shirts towards the bottom. It's ruining virtually every top we both own. It's not just where it's a cheap fabric, it happens with everything even if really good quality and within a couple of weeks of having them. We both wear jeans a lot and I think it's the friction between the fabric and the fly of the jeans but what can we do? Anyone else get this and/or have a solution? Oddly it doesn't happen to anyone else in the family!

Shocking on the navy stripe one

Definitely the quality of the materials has declined in most makes imo.
Things never used to go in holes.

I have holes in a pyjama top round the back

@Justkeeprollingalong is the stripy one from Oasis? That material is so weak...I have holes in that one. Love their stuff but always gets holes in. I have a lot of tops...far too many if I'm honest and I think I have two (older ones) that don't have the holes. I definitely think it's worse these days but then I have now got quartz worktops so...

Both from White Company, but others from M&S, Boden, Joules etc.

OMG, what a revelation! I've been wondering about these holes for years, and assumed it was moths. But I never could work out why the moths always preferred the navel area Grin.

Ah, I see Grin

Thanks, rolling along
