The first one is the one I’ve gone for but I’m having doubts - do you think it’s a bit ‘much’?
The 2nd one is me in a more fitted style. I have quite square hips and a mum tum!
Opinions welcome Blush Ignore the artwork to try hide my ID/messy house Grin

1st one. I especially love the back

DinosaursWouldEatYou · 11/08/2019 19:52

The first one is lovely and really suits you

MyGirlDaisy · 11/08/2019 19:53

First one, but I also think it would look better without a veil.

Ineedaweeinpeace · 11/08/2019 19:54

Nearly everyone is saying first one. Ignore the rest. Don’t look at this thread again and enjoy doing the other details OP.

You look stunning in the first dress!

Harp1977 · 11/08/2019 19:54

The first one is fab but how heavy is it? We were at a wedding yesterday where the bride had a very similar dress she ended up taking it off after the first dance as it was so heavy she could not dance comfortably in it.
I like both and whatever you decide you will be amazing on the day

cranstonmanor · 11/08/2019 19:54

The first one flatters you. The second one makes you look shapeless.

seven201 · 11/08/2019 19:56

I love the first dress but I think with a veil it's just too much, especially with the tiara too. I think keep the dress, no veil and different headpiece as I think tiaras are a bit dated/naff. Sorry!

Bumbags · 11/08/2019 19:56

Definitely number 1

triptrapdollydumpling · 11/08/2019 20:03

Definitely the first one. It’s beautiful and you made a perfect choice.

VenusTiger · 11/08/2019 20:13

Preferred fit of second until I saw your other pics OP, I prefer the one you’ve bought now, the first one! It’s gorgeous on you!

The lady in the bridal shop told me not to look at another dress after mine had been purchased - it’ll get so confusing lol. Think you’ve made the right choice with yours though!

TheRLodger · 11/08/2019 20:18

Another vote for the first one 😊

MondeoFan · 11/08/2019 20:24

The first one, so lovely on you

Excitablemuch · 11/08/2019 20:30

I love the first one! I had a similar dress - mine wasn’t netting but had the same zig zag feature (Hollywood dreams - serena)
You don’t see it often.... lovely to be a big different and you look lovely in it!

NoTheresa · 11/08/2019 20:59

The first one is lovely.

MoltonSilver · 11/08/2019 22:10

You've made the right decision. Stick with it. Its gorgeous on you.

dontgobaconmyheart · 12/08/2019 00:00

Primarily OP you have a fantastic figure, of the two the first looks better although I do think it needs to be fitted much better on the bust (I obviously have no idea what alterations have or have not occurred). I do think there is rather a lot going on in dress 1 but I assume that that is personal taste as most here seem to love it, I love the skirt but think with the bodice and the back it looks somewhat of a mish mash of all the go-to bridal 'showstoppers' and less would be more for me in that respect. That lovely skirt with a plainer bodice and back would be what I'd personally choose.

Wear what you feel good in, and what feels like 'you'

ISpeakJive · 12/08/2019 05:59

First dress is lovely but it doesn’t need a veil. Too much material there as it is.

MsMarvellous · 12/08/2019 06:19

I absolutely love the first one. It really suits you and looks fabulous. The other is nice and inoffensive but not more. I'd go with 1

looksbetterwithoutthelipstick · 12/08/2019 11:48

Thank you everyone for all opinions! I think no matter what dress I think I would probably have doubts whatever dress I bought cos that’s just who I am! I was just worried it looks a bit OTT or would maybe get toilet roll topper type comments but I didn’t get any of those so maybe it’s me panicking. I can see the net curtain but then lace can look like netting also I guess.
I can see why the veil and tiara is a bit much but I’ve always imagined myself walking down the aisle with a veil covering my face I don’t know why! So really want that. The tiara I think is me trying to be Meghan Markle! Grin but those things are interchangeable it’s the dress that’s the big deal. Thank you all Flowers

The dress you have chosen is really lovely OP.

Stripyhoglets · 12/08/2019 13:23

It's lovely, you've made a good choice :-)

BigFatBloomers · 12/08/2019 13:58

If you want a veil, I wonder if it might be good to have one with an edge that reflects the edge on the skirt of your dress, a bit like this one.

BigFatBloomers · 12/08/2019 14:04

Or this one

ScatteredMama82 · 12/08/2019 14:09

I love it, the extra photos you posted show it off really well - it's gorgeous on you. Stop worrying!

WednesdaySpinner · 12/08/2019 14:15

Love the first one OP! I get married in October and also got the fear about my dress - I spent a good few months worrying that I should have picked the other one that I tried on (my mum said I looked ridiculous which put me off). You need to remember that when you tried it on initially, you loved it and that’s what matters. I think you look amazing in the first picture Smile
