Autumn wardrobes.... what are we thinking of?

I look forward to September and the change in weather move to autumny clothes.... I don't know why but I really, really fancy some super leather cowboy boots... plus pinafore dresses :)

Fingers crossed. I've come to the conclusion I basically want to dress between a mixture of Kate Moss and Joe Lycett . Let's see what they make of that. Haha

This autumn I’m really in the mood for mini skirts with thick tights and boots, and crisp shirts with skinny trousers and jeans. Going to wait a few more weeks before doing a wardrobe changeover though, doesn’t feel right doing it before September.
I love the autumn and autumn fashion, it reminds me of going back to school and buying a new pencil case

my protected species commuter coat in the red is being delivered today and i also ordered a pair of knee length leather boots from Lands End in their sale for just £27 Hope they fit as I do have problems with fitting shoes/boots. I want to splurge on a one really nice jumper rather than multiple cheap ones but haven't found it yet and I'll probably need a new pair of black work trousers but like a previous poster I'm hoping to stay in spring/summer clothes until the end of September

Hoping the mac of beauty gets delivered today. grannycake I don’t really know lands end so I’ll have a look at their boots too.

I've got this Topshop blazer being delivered tomorrow. I love the look of it but at the same time I'm not entirely sure how much wear I'll get out of it.

I love the blazer but I would struggle with the colour.....is it a muted mustard? Gorgeous shape though.

I'm hoping so. I do love mustards and yellows but hoping it's not too vivid. I really suit it (along with green, khaki, tan, grey etc) as I've got olive skin/brown hair/brown eyes. I thinking it'll work well with jeans and a simple t-shirt underneath but will need to test out a few looks to see if it works. I love blazers but where I work from home 99% of the time I struggle to formal up when I have meetings (though I still tend to wear jeans as my role allows it). If I wear a black one I always feel super uncomfortable

I’ll probably get another crossbody linked before as it’s budget friendly and I know it’s lovely.

The sun is back today, I never know what to wear on my feet towards the end of summer, too hot for boots but possibly rain. I’ve never worn trainers but I guess that’s the practical solution

It feels like October half term here, dry but its really not warm. Its making me feel like I need to get the big coats dry cleaned. (One year I will actually do this in march before putting them away...)

That bag is gorgeous Ben! I don't suit yellows or mustard but I love the colour so accessories may be the way to go.

Disgruntled That's not what I think of as a 'mumsy' bag and it's really nice anyway. The leather looks very soft.

No sign of my delivery, tomorrow I guess, I expect I’ll have it for the weekend.

Well it’s poured with rain here all day making me feel very autumnal. I spent the morning sorting through my wardrobe ( how many pairs of jeans does one person need !!)
Consequently then spent the afternoon online shopping:

2 x fitted rollnecks M&S, plus 2 cord A line button mini skirts in camel and Khaki
2 x Autograph Cashmere jumpers ( mustard & grey marl rib)
Kingfisher blue Schöffel fleece

Thank god for free delivery and returns - excited for autumn now.
