I look forward to September and the change in weather move to autumny clothes.... I don't know why but I really, really fancy some super leather cowboy boots... plus pinafore dresses :)

What does everyone think of this jumper? I’m thinking it would look good paired with my coated leggings or black skinny jeans & my Chelsea boots. But it’s sooo expensive...

Got to wear my new boots today - gorgeous knee high tan leather boots that I got from Dune in the summer sales.

Combined with dark green skinnies, a sweet little cream crocheted fitted cardigan with brown leather buttons, and a fitted tweed jacket - all but the boots recent charity shop finds. Smile

LemonAddict · 09/09/2019 19:14

@happytobemrsg I’d spend a little bit extra and get something in cashmere instead.

I only have one merino wool jumper but I hardly wear it, I always choose a cashmere top instead, it’s so much softer and warmer.

cheesenpickles · 09/09/2019 19:16

It's pretty @happytobemrsg but not £80 pretty imo. Agree with pp and save that for cashmere. You could always order it to try and the. Send it back if you're not 100%

Atalune · 09/09/2019 19:20

happy I really like it! But can’t see my way to spending £79 on a jumper from Next. Confused

Leftielefterson · 09/09/2019 19:24

@happytobemrsg - agree, i’d go for cashmere. Likely to be some sales throughout November for Black Friday (if you’re able to wait that long). The jumper looks similar to what scamp and dude are offering. Believe the money raised is linked to a charity.

Leftielefterson · 09/09/2019 19:26

I’ve come into a bit of money so I’ve got some additional £££ for a new coat. Didn’t love the Maje coat so that’s gone back.

I’ve ordered this from acne:

www.acnestudios.com/uk/en/a-line-wrap-coat-beige-melange/A90138-AHW.html?categid=woman-outerwear

Outrageously expensive but, it’ll last a lifetime. I love an a-line cut just hope this doesn’t make me look like Michelin man.

happytobemrsg · 09/09/2019 20:02

You’re all right. I also felt funny about spending £80 on a jumper from Next!

TheGirlWhoLived · 09/09/2019 20:38

I think it’s trying hard to be cashmere... without going that extra mile Grin

TheGirlWhoLived · 09/09/2019 20:45

I am going to need some flat, grey, under £50 boots to pull a couple of outfits together. Just bought some Joules Molly wellies which are fun but hoping for something nicer for dry days!
I had some awesome Acne Boots (back before children when I had actual disposable income... student loan...) so if money allows then I’d always go for them!

Sorry if my orders are a bit low-brow, I’m always going to be more sales before designer Grin but my wish lists are similar!

Leftielefterson · 10/09/2019 00:12

@TheGirlWhoLived do not apologise. 90% of my clothes are high street. I’ve had a windfall hence the splurge but no way would I spend that otherwise.

cheesenpickles · 10/09/2019 07:54

Yeah @TheGirlWhoLived I'm much more ASOS, Topshop and River Island than fancy brands though I'm trying to ditch fast fashion. Easier said than done when you have a limited budget,

MulberryPeony · 10/09/2019 13:28

Managed to get the ASOS cape Grin and with an extra £10 off.

DisgruntledGuineaPig · 10/09/2019 13:41

@TheGirlWhoLived

what about these from New Look? £20.

Or if you are a size 4 or 5 - these from Jigsaw are rather bargainous!

I also used to be a shorts/ trousers girl but have lived in dresses this summer. I have several very simple pull on stretch jersey ones which are really flattering & can be dressed up or down. Hoping to get warmer versions for autumn. Also hankering after a denim jacket, although no idea if they are in fashion now

LuxuryWoman2018 · 10/09/2019 15:36

Denim jackets are a staple item Bunnylady I think, they might be more fashionable at times but I don’t think one has been out of my wardrobe for 35 years.

happytobemrsg · 10/09/2019 16:01

I think they are lovely @Elloello

TheGirlWhoLived · 10/09/2019 22:48

Love the jigsaw ones, not ABSOLUTLEY set on the heel though.. looks like it’ll be tricky for the school run. I vary between a 5 and a 6- can get away with both really.

Found some bargainous office ones here which I THINK I’ve managed to get the last pair in a 6! I’ve been sent the confirmation so fingers crossed they turn up ok- £20 is a steal Grin

TheGirlWhoLived · 10/09/2019 22:50

I personally don’t love the chain bunnylady I think it makes them look a bit more mature than wintour!

Really love the style and shape though, it depends if you style it with an oversized knit and chinos or skinny’s and shirt I guess- same as most things if you love them then you do you!

happytobemrsg · 11/09/2019 14:14

My L&Y black dungarees arrived & omg I LOVE them! Will be wearing them tomorrow & every day for the rest of my life

TheGirlWhoLived · 11/09/2019 16:24

Oooh I’ve been eyeing up the ones in Topshop for a while... as mentioned before though, I am only a little taller than a toddler so worry they are going to look awful! How tall are you Mrsg?

happytobemrsg · 11/09/2019 17:09

I’m 5ft 6” @TheGirlWhoLived. Which ones are you looking at it Topshop? I wouldn’t mind some blue denim ones but I’ve spent so much getting bits for Autumn I really can’t get anything else!

Steviestamborine · 11/09/2019 17:42

So many tempting things, I’m looking for cosy loungewear, and after spending some time on Pinterest a grey poncho and maybe another crossbody but I fancy something slightly bling. Not blingy but some sort of detail.
